The pen pal exchange ✍🏻 is my fave!

I really love the community inside The Shine Lounge. It's a supportive group of women who have reminded me that it's okay to slow down and take a moment for myself sometimes. I've also really, REALLY loved the pen pal exchanges! That's definitely been my favorite perk of being in the community—writing, sending, and receiving letters from all over the world. I can't wait for the next exchange!

The Shine lounge is such a great community to be a part of. Connecting with women all over the world and in my home country. I am so glad I found this page! Julie is the kindest soul with a huge heart. The page has such a beautiful vibe and everyone is so supportive and kind. It’s kind of like getting a big squishy hug when you pop in and say hi. Julie puts her heart and soul into this space and it really shows. Julie is kind, generous and very thoughtful with everything she does and brings to the community. From the monthly shine drops to the pen pal exchange and more, Julie has created a safe and caring space. I would highly recommend it! 💕

Great space for women to just be!

I have to admit, I didn't really know what to expect when I joined the Shine Lounge, but I am really glad I did. It has a great community vibe and is very open and caring. Love getting to know the ladies in there, especially the host Julie. She has some great creative and fun activites that she shares regularly! Highly recommend this space!

Beautiful Community

Julie is the most beautiful, caring human! This Girl Shines is so amazing. It is a beautiful place to be if you are having a rough day, feeling a little down and also just generally a great place to socialise and chat with other ladies who completely understand, listen and provide positive and kind support. It's a beautiful Community that any lady over 40 should definitely give a try 😊

A gentle, supportive self-care community

The Shine Lounge is such a lovely, supportive community. I’ve been a member of it since it opened more than 6 months ago, and I always seem to find exactly what I need, whether that’s calm, support, motivation, or gentle movement. The bite-sized self-care options like audios, stretching, yoga, journaling, and even the PenPal project make it easy to dip in and take care of yourself without feeling overwhelmed, nor needing to spend a lot of time on self-care.

What really makes The Shine Lounge special is the care and enthusiasm Julie puts into it. She’s a truly sparkly and gorgeous soul, and that energy shines through in the whole space. I highly recommend The Shine Lounge to anyone looking for gentle, supportive self-care without needing to find lots of time or put a lot of effort on it. 💖
