Bought salmon bits, smoked mackerel, salmon jerky and smoked trout slices. All were very moist and succulent, beats the shop bought slime any day of the week. The jerky is to die for. Ordered on Monday, delivered on Wednesday morning, very impressed. Will definitely order again when I run out

Having some of Lambton and Jackson’s smoked salmon in the fridge is a very reassuring sight as I know there is something delicious to share with family and friends available. Perfect in this hot weather too when appetites need to be encouraged. Delicious and delighted with the usual beautifully packed prompt delivery.

Excellent service and product

Really delicious smoked salmon with a deep flavour and pleasant texture to arrive fresh in perfect condition. Made perfect gift for a relative. Very well packed. It was a bit difficult to separate the slices, but as it's preferable not to have plastic between the slices, this was worth a bit of effort.

Good quality interesting food. Prompt delivery and service. Ideal little gift for my sons for Fathers Day. All 3 of them were delighted to receive them and reluctant to share them! Much enjoyed.

Quite simply the best smoked salmon I’ve ever tasted.

The salmon from Lambton & Jackson is exceptional. The quality is evident from the moment you open the pack – beautifully presented, perfectly sliced and with a wonderful aroma. The texture is silky smooth and the flavour is superb; delicately smoked with a depth and richness that enhances the salmon rather than overpowering it. My mouth is watering just writing about it!

What really impressed me was the balance. It has all the hallmarks of a truly artisan product – carefully crafted, incredibly fresh and packed with flavour. It was equally delicious enjoyed simply with brown bread and butter for lunch, and with eggs for breakfast.

This is not supermarket smoked salmon! It’s a premium product that looks and tastes genuinely special.

If you’re looking for smoked salmon for a celebration, gift (the hamper is a brilliant present!), dinner party or simply a treat for yourself (unfortunately I have to share it with the children as they love it too!), I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lambton & Jackson. Outstanding quality and worth every penny!

I even choose a specific place for brunch now because it serves Lambton & Jackson salmon!

Really disappointed - ordered 2 sides of Salmon for delivery today for a dinner party tomorrow and despite chasing twice no tracking details provided and alas at 8.45 nothing has arrived - i tried to ring twice and no answer- I will have to go to Waitrose tomorrow first thing to replace - something I maybe should have done in the first place. Such a shame - loads of stress in

I have been a fan of their smoked salmon for years which is simply the best you can buy. I recently bought the fresh salmon (whole side) as my local fishmonger was charging £40 a kilo which is punishingly expensive and even the better supermarket salmons £26-£30 a kilo always lack flavour. Lambton's whole side of fresh salmon which is guaranteed to be more than a kilo but has been closer to one and a half kilos on each occasion I have bought is very good. It is not comparable to the smoked salmon which is peerless but it is very good and cracking value. I always buy whole sides of either the smoked or the fresh and I think smaller portions can suffer because of the nature of packaging

The hot smoked salmon fillets were absolutely delicious as always. Generous meaty portion size and also easy to prepare.
Delivery was on time. Will always order from l and J for special occasions.
