I was on vacation away from home and saw online that KnifeArt had a Chris Reeve Large Sebenza in the configuration I've been looking for. I know they sell out fast, but didn't want them to send it immediately and have it sit out on my front porch for over a week. They took my order and agreed to wait and send it on a date that would make it arrive after I got home. Also, I asked the gentleman over the phone if he would be willing to personally inspect the knife to make sure it had early lock-up and that the blade was centered. He agreed and was very helpful. The knife arrived exactly when they agreed it would, and is perfect (not a far stretch for Chris Reeve knives). This was my 2nd purchase from KnifeArt and both experiences were very positive. On both I ordered by phone rather than online.

Purchased another Spartan Blades/Harsey folder from KnifeArt. This time with a 3.25” Damascus blade also from Chad Nichols’ forge. Unfortunately there was a flaw in the blade that I suspect was due to something that happened during the acid bath or when the blade was being shaped at Spartan Blades. It never should have left Chad Nichols Forge, Spartan or KnifeArt if a QC inspector had looked closely…it was extremely obvious to the naked eye…not what you expect in a $515.00 custom knife. That said, I immediately called KnifeArt who emailed exchange/refund instruction to me within minutes of our conversation. I FedEx’d the knife back to them for exchange, and the replacement is already on the way…they shipped it the same day the defective knife arrived at their facility. Bottomline, excellent CS…no whining or playing 20 questions with me. As for QC (KnifeArt touts a “curated” collection available for sale), it’s on Nichols, Spartan and/or KnifeArt to figure out what went wrong. I’ll still buy from KnifeArt and/or Spartan again.

I found them as an online supplier on Winklers site. I figured, there’s no chance anyone will have what I want in stock. I looked in their inventory, to my surprise they had what I wanted. I ordered at near midnight on a Friday. I had my order in hand by Tuesday afternoon.

KnifeArt has great exclusives and I recently bought the Exclusive MagnaCut White River Firecraft FC3.5 Pro - Textured Black and Blue G-10. I love this knife for it's size and versatility. Now in Magnacut, well, this was a must-have item. The service from KnifeArt is excellent and the knife shipped fast and was packaged well.
