I had these secateurs purchased as a present for my husband. He absolutely loves them and uses them all the time. I have to watch him as he so enjoys using them, he can't wait to cut small branches off anything! They are extremely sharp and accurate. He also enjoys cleaning them up after use. I have to admit, they are as good as my more expensive pair. Really good value secateurs, I would highly recommend them.

The pair of edging shears I purchased are truly wonderful. They are, by far, the best ones I have ever had and, really, the cost was not a great deal more than I have paid for, by comparison, mediocre ones.

I recently bought a Kimura-PRO 202-Pro Telescopic Geared Hedge Shears on B&Q website, where demonstrates the length of the shears is 850mm in both the product description and diagram illustration. When I measured the shears upon delivery, I found the maximum length was around 750mm. So I sent an online return request. In the following three days I sent a few emails back and forth explaining the reasons for the return request with a few photos showing the measurements. The company asked me to send a video demonstrating opening and measuring the shears. And I did so as requested. Finally the company sent me a message agreeing a return without any instructions about how to return it.

My inquiry asking about whether they will collect the shears from my address or I shall return it to my local B&Q store has never been answered.

On the fourth day I took the shears directly to my local B&Q. A member of staff there processed the return and told me I could just bring it in. Hopefully I will receive the refund soon.

Very easy to order and a superb item. Delivery was fast and very happy. Will definately buy from Kimura again.

Best secateurs I’ve ever bought, very sharp and feel good in your hands, bright red, so I can see where I left them. Can be used for cutting flowers as well as branches.

The horizontal clipper works well and also saves my back.

Bought their Samurai secateurs for £35 on strength of reviews, not having heard of the company.
Having used them now on delicate herbs, tough stems and small branches, I am impressed by the ease of use and quality of construction.
I understand this is a small family outfit so I think, on the face of my purchase, they deserve support.

The Kimura scissors are with me wherever and whenever I’m in my gardens. Excellent product. Sturdy for years of service ahead I’m sure. Excellent communication with the company. I’ll be a customer for life and hope to refer all my gardening friends to Kimura.

Very good shears but could be lighter, handles are a bit longer than I would have liked but they do the job cutting lawn edges and pruning shrubs and hedges. Since purchasing these I have recently bought a long handled pair for doing the lawn edging to save me bending down all the time as I am 67. I used them as soon as they arrived and on the whole I am pleased with them, however they could do with a rubber edge where the shears meet in the middle as they clank a bit and this would reduce the shock felt when cutting its the same on my other shears but they are really sharp also the extending handles I think could be a better ergonomic design to ease pain in the wrists but will persevere as they definitely made cutting the lawn edges easier.

Best shears I've ever used. They cut through escalonia, box and all our shrubs like butter. Thank you!

I was very pleased to receive a gift for my birthday.
The gift was a new pair of Kimura garden-loppers.

Initially, I was very pleased with the loppers performance; however, unfortunately the blade snapped when pruning some shrub branches (on the first day).

Whether there was an imperfection in the blade, I can only guess, I do not know. Anyway, I contacted Kimura and was asked to send photographs of the blade failure, and they kindly offered to send me a replacement blade. I was informed that the blades were out of stock. After I number of months I still had not received a blade, nor a reply to my latest email requesting an expected delivery date.

After I followed up with Kimura again, I was delighted to receive a replacement.

So, although the process took approximately 6-months; Kimura did follow up on their pledge.

In my experience, Kimura provide great products with honourable follow-up to their Customers. THANK YOU Kimura!

I bought Kimura's whetstone on Amazon and I'm really impressed, both with the product itself and the company behind it.

I'd never used a whetstone before so wasn't sure what to expect, but it was really straightforward. The stone has two sides with different grits, and everything you need comes in the box including visual instructions, which I found really helpful. The whetstone and its storage box feel really well made and it sharpened my knives beautifully in under 5 minutes.
