Kids Discover Recenzje

The scavenger hunts are not intuitive and difficult for even an adult to navigate. I wish they were easier because I think it would work great for students in my classroom. The site itself is confusing and difficult to find things sometimes. The navigation around the site is not intuitive and can feel very clunky at times. I love how much content there is, and when you can find it and use it, then it is great.

I have received these articles through email for many years and decided to sign up for this awesome resource for my kiddos! The free articles are amazing, so I decided to go ahead and purchase this fabulous resource!

The articles are a GREAT source of non-fiction information. We read them together as a class or students can read them individually on their Chromebooks. Struggling readers can listen to articles and the infographs are helpful. The scavenger hunts are interesting, but a lot of reading and some guesswork is needed (Not sure 3rd graders have enough background knowledge for many--I like them and need to figure out how I can assign them better.)
Things I don't like: Kids Discover isn't approved by our school district because of student privacy rules. If it were allowed, they could download it to their Clever page and access it more easily.
The Free downloadable vocabulary and puzzles/activities are difficult for 3rd graders, so we do them together. The "before-and-after" what you know pages are connected to the printed magazines and do not correspond to the Online KD.
Maybe a 2,3 and 4th grade version could be written, so it is more user-friendly?

Eye-catching, student-friendly graphics; content is engaging for kids

I'm using this as a homeschool resource for a reluctant 12yo. It's a bit clunky to assign tasks/units to your class. Once items have been completed by the student, they don't disappear, they are still there for them to do, so you have to keep track of it manually.

I would love to see an option for more in-depth questions at the end of the session. There are usually 3-4 simple multiple choice options.

Took 2 months to get access to my acct & the acct names are still mixed up

problems signing in

The website is easy to navigate.

Great customer service, issues rectified quickly,
communication was speedy.

This is such a good app. It's fun and engaging for kids and the adults supervising them. I used it for my youngest kid & now will be using it for my grandkids!

The team answered my email right away, reset my password quickly, and I was able to purchase my subscription in minutes. Thank you!

It is very hard to navigate. It would be nice to see grade level content only with the option to see other topics.

Amazing resources for homeschool or classroom teaching!

Wonderful information. I get very confused by the viewing of your MENU...Hard to see when icons are all ocerlapping.

Our students love these resources!

I like the content, but the audio is read in a way that is very unengaging. I could not even sit there with my kids and listen to it. There is no way to pause the content and come back to it. It will just start over from the beginning, and the kids will have to listen to the entire thing again. There is no variety in the way any of the information is presented.
