Nothing short of thieves
I was assured someone would be with me in one hour as I explained I was going out. After a further phone call a man called after almost two hours. I took him ten minutes to remove the lock and said it would be ordered and take a further ten minutes to fit. The company were going to charge me £95 plus VAT for the first ten minute call then wanted a further £95 plus VAT to fit it. I spoke with the office and explained they were over an hour late calling and didnt think I should pay the two amounts of £95. The girl did confirm that he would be with me in an hour but they showed no goodwill whatsoever. To top it all off the man that called had zero personality and no people skills whatsoever. He didnt have the good manners to say either hello or goodbye. As I am not on facebook but my daughter is I intend to get her to put this post up when she gets back from holiday on Saturday.

Adrian was efficient, knowledgeable and polite and friendly. He found the problem with my front door quickly and sorted it. Adjusted the door and locks and gave me a lot of tips to care for my doors and windows. Excellent service!

The locksmith could not rectify my…
The locksmith could not rectify my problem with the door. And I asked that it be left as it was.
To be honest I don't think he knew exactly what the problem was, or what he was doing. And that did not give me confidence as a customer.
When I tried to make a suggestion- "his comment was please let me do my job". But he was trying to fix the opposite side of the door frame that did not have a problem. When the issue was the door.
I also noticed that he drilled back my flat locking plates on my door frame upside down.
I've have reached out to the company who originally installed the door. And they will be coming to fix it.

Locked out of house
Locked out of house, our spare key didn't work !
Called Keytec, phone answered very promptly and efficiently. The cost involved was explained clearly, and a time scale for the engineer was given. Engineer arrived promptly within 30 mins, he was pleasant and had us back in our house within 30 minutes, after replacing the key barrel.

Moving home
On phoning to ask about getting a new lock I was given several dates & times to choose from.
I received a call ahead of scheduled time to say the engineer was on his way.
Once the engineer had looked at the lock I was given two options on the type of replacement.
The whole procedure took 10 minutes and I was given 5 keys to accompany the new lock.
Payment was efficient with card details taken over the phone with someone in the office.
All in all a very stress-free experience in the midst of moving home.

Helpful and efficient from start to finish.
The first telephone contact was helpful and arranged for a prompt call out, explaining the cost structure. The locksmith arrived within 90 minutes and changed the door lock quickly and efficiently, leaving five keys. Inside two hours from the initial call the locks were changed and peace of mind restored.
