Amateur software makes LSX unplayable
My experience is the same as everybody else's. The software simply doesn't work properly. I have about a 10% success rate in connecting my speakers to the phone. Whether or not I will luck out is completely random. I'd like to sell them second hand but the poor buyer would definitely seek revenge.
They take your money and run!
Such poor service.....they take your money and then run. I contacted KEF on 3/5/24 to buy a replacement audio cable with microphone and sent a photo of the headphones with the cable that needs replacing. They took my money but sent me just an audio cable. I have emailed, used their online form and called them to let them know they sent an incorecct part, but I get no response. I would try to buy the cable online elsewhere but a google search shows the cable jacks are unique to their products and generic cables won't work. Rubbish service all round.
Horrible human being
One of the most inhumane conversations I've even had with another human being. I had to rush my dog to the vet after one of his dogs bit mine (large bite wound to the gut). While my dog was being operated on, I called him to get the contact information of the relevant dog owner for liability. Instead he took a hostile stance, and blamed me for leaving the scene, and said he was unsure what he had seen, and unwilling to help identify the dog that bit mine. Luckily there were witnesses, and we are currently in the process of suing his business. Extreme lack of empathy bordering on sociopathy. I would never do business with this person.
Customer Service is Poor
Gotta say, i bought Kef wireless 2 and those speakers sound great ,but i have lot of connection lost problems and customer service did nothing to help me..Speakers cost about 2000-3000 euros ,so i think somebody should help me with those problems .I changed those speakers to GENELEC 4 and Node and now i dont have any problems with speakers.
A complete waste of £1,000
After getting a new router, my KEF LSX will not connect at all to WiFi. Sounds like I spent £1,000 on some really bad technology. Customer service is worse than useless. My advice to anyone considering buying into KEF is don't bother. Get yourself a decent pair of passive speakers. Yes, the speakers can sound great, but I feel really bitter towards the company. Their apps are worse than useless and apparently they just ditch one set of customers for another as they bring out their new products.
KEF, you suck. You should be ashamed of the way you treat your customers. I will never buy another product from you again and I would advise everyone else to do the same
KEF speakers are garbage
Bought their expensive speakers three years ago, they quit working. Sent them back, they wanted me to upgrade them for 700.00. I can't afford that, besides I don't need another pair that only lasts three years, I said no. They repaired mine assured me they were repaired properly. They sent them back after months. Well guess what they DO NOT work properly. They won't do anything reasonable at this point. They said they are outdated. Lol. They suck.

KEF's customer support has been disappointingly unresponsive. Despite initial assurances that they would address my concerns, there has been no follow-up communication. My attempts to open new tickets or reach out to different departments have been met with silence. As someone who previously advocated for their products, this experience has been disheartening. It's unfortunate to see customer relations handled in such a manner. I would caution others to consider this experience before engaging with them
Phenomenal speakers
Ordered the LSX II LT speakers and KC62 sub. Arrived next day and I’ve spent all night listening to my favourite music. Completely blown away by the sound, this is by far the best set-up I’ve ever heard. Highly recommended.

KEF m'a envoyé vers un labo privé à Paris, labo qui me réclame 830 euros pour les réparer !!!
Lorsque le devis est tombé, KEF a brutalement stoppé nos échanges pour éviter, je suppose, toute participation commerciale.

Je voulais prendre des LS50 wifi et donner mes LSX à ma fille, mais aujourd'hui, c'est hors de question.

J'ai aussi un caisson de basse KEF (600 euros).
Je vais m'en débarrasser pour oublier cette lamentable marque.
Amazing speakers….when they work
Amazing speakers….when they work, which is almost impossible to achieve with any consistency. The KEF LS50 wireless speakers are just not fit for purpose but the company will not admit that and will send your round in circles, wasting your time rather than admit fault. I guess the main reason behind the version 2 of the speaker. If you speak to Hifi experts they will quietly tell you that KEF know they have an issue but won’t own it. I’m afraid that my terrible experience means I just won’t touch KEF again.
Terrible company
Terrible company. Zero customer support and aftercare. Legal request went ignored. KEF X300A speakers have a known fault and my valid complaint went ignored by KEF.
Short lifespan - Non-existant support
KEF is an utterly disgusting company. A pure disgrace.
My expensive LSX wouldn't connect after about a year. Impossible to get a response from KEF. The only solution is your garbage bin.
If you are into throwing expensive products away after a year and you hate customer services, go for KEF.
Otherwise, pick any other brand. None can be worse than KEF. Even if the sound quality is less, go for it. Still having sound after a year is always better than your broken KEF.
Dealing with them has been a nightmare
Dealing with them has been a nightmare. Speakers were not working properly and they just kept me going around and around with the same set of responses (uninstall and reinstall speakers- you cant do that every day!!).
Basically their tech doesn’t work well and they don’t want to admit it. In the end i just sold the speakers second hand and got a different brand.

It’s early days, but so far my LS50 Wireless iis have been a joy. We had an issue with Spotify connect, resolved by getting in touch with KEF - they said to reset all devices and reinstall apps. Fixed it!
Oplaaddoosje Mu3 oordopjes ontvangen na anderhalve maand frustratie
Voor mijn Mu3 oordopjes heb ik 6 juli '23 een oplaaddoosje besteld van 69,- euro (omdat ik het eerste doosje verloren had). De bestelling werd echter niet bezorgd. Kef heeft mij geen email verstuurd met een bericht over de verzending van het pakketje, noch heb ik een track en trace code ontvangen. Na een week wachten heb ik meerdere keren de klantenservice moeten benaderen via het contactformulier. Kef reageerde niet op dit formulier. Zij zijn telefonisch niet bereikbaar. Na anderhalve maand en veel frustratie en tijd van mijn kant heb ik uiteindelijk het doosje in mijn bezit. Ik moest het ophalen bij het DHL service point in Roosendaal, terwijl ik in Breda woon. Wederom had ik geen track and trace code ontvangen en dus wist ik niet wanneer DHL langs zou komen. Het kostte mij veel moeite om erachter te komen waar ik het pakketje uiteindelijk kon ophalen. Mijn inziens een zeer slechte klantenservice van kef!!

Then….week after week of no communication whatever and total stonewall of emails and phone calls.
Worst customer service and still no solution…going on third week of no solution and no communication.
STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPAN DESPITE THE PRODUCT REVIEWS. I ASSUME THEY PAY OFF THE REVIEWERS.
Dysfunctional speakers, arrogant company, dysfunctional customer service
I bought KEF LSX speakers brand new via eBay in January. After a choppy set-up process for which I had to call in a geeky friend the speakers worked well, with superb sound quality, for a couple of weeks. I then upgraded my home wifi system and the speakers stopped working. I won't go into the detail because it's complicated, but essentially these speakers are very particular and if your home wifi system doesn't happen to conform to their requirements then you're in trouble. My geeky friend's super-geeky friend can't sort out my problems, and I'm left with a £900 set of speakers that are useless. KEF refuse to take responsibility because I committed the crime of buying through eBay instead of one of their authorised dealers with their overinflated prices, and so I either spend perhaps £200 fixing the problem with KEF with no guarantee that it won't come back again the next time something changes, or I bin the speakers, write off the £900 and try to forget I've ever heard the name of KEF.
Their customer service is budget airline with a smiley face on it: very friendly and sympathetic, but of no practical use whatsoever. They think it's OK for them to sell a product that isn't fit for domestic use and then charge their customers to clean up the inevitable mess.
Don't be a victim. Buy something else.
Terrible software and nonexistent customer service
I’ve had a string of frustrating problems with two sets of KEF LSX speakers (I returned the first, but the problems remained on the second so it seems to be a product issue). I’ve sent a handful of unreturned messages to their customer service email, which doesn’t seem to be monitored. If you look at their apps’ review pages, you can see that lots of people have similar trouble with KEF products. I wouldn’t buy from them again and regret recommending the LSX II in a bookshelf speaker guide I wrote in 2020, before learning of these deep-rooted issues. Take positive reviews with a pinch of salt—reviewers likely haven’t lived with the speakers—and think twice before spending premium prices on a brand with no accountability protocol.

Er wordt helemaal niet gereageerd op berichten via de website en e-mails. Er is ook geen andere contact mogelijkheid.
Heb meer dan 1 maand geleden ter reparatie product retour gestuurd en daarna geen enkele reactie meer ontvangen. Heb nu zeker 5X contactformulier ingevuld en op eerdere mail een reply geschreven.
Er was wel gelijk een reactie toen ik aangaf 1 product 2x te hebben ontvangen. Nu is juist deze kapot dus heb enorme spijt dat ik die terug had gestuurd.
