I had zero problems getting everything that I ordered, though needing to contact support to say I did not intend to return the product first was only a slight annoyance. The product has worked great for me out of the box with the few games I've wanted to use this for, so I am very happy with the platform!

Completely fraudulent foreign company, poor products, terrible service

First - this company is based in China, not Washington state. I purchased the "Kat Walk C2 Plus Enhanced" on 12/31/2025 for over $1200; did not receive all parts until 01/16/2025. Everything ultimately ships from China.

Their support is only available in China hours. They claim to have Whatsapp- but I do not wish to give my number to some foreign, overseas company. I did that once with another company in China and suddenly started being added to"Bitcoin investment" groups without my permission. They will sell your contact information.

Second - after completing the laborious and sometimes confusing steps to assemble the item, then install and get working their software, the shoe sensors were faulty. My on-screen character would move very awkwardly. I spent a week back and forth with their "tech support" who demanded that I prove that my product was faulty by recording videos of the faults. Stupidly suspecting that, after having spent over $1200, I had a secret scheme to defraud them by taking their cheap, stupid, worthless equipment.

On the 7th day, I got so disgusted with the process, I told them I wanted out **THANK GOD I PURCHASED THIS THING ON AMAZON!! MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO DO SO AND JOHNNY ON THE SPOT, I WAS RIGHT!!!**
I told Amazon that about the experience, the lack of local support, the China support hours, and faulty hardware from the jump on an item costing over $1200- Amazon SWIFTLY began processing the refund. **DO NOT BUY FROM KATVR DIRECTLY. YOU MUST HEED THIS.**

In conclusion, I've never had such a wretched, miserable experience having spent such an exorbitant amount of money. What happens in the U.S. with our great consumer protection laws, companies will have local service techs come to your home and service your item(s) when spending such an amount for their products. It's called customer service.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KATVR. THE REVIEWS (BOTH WRITTEN AND VIDEO) ARE PAID FOR- THE SOCIAL MEDIA "INFLUENCERS" WERE COMPENSATED AS ADVERTISERS, NOT REAL USERS. I AM ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED THIS COMPANY HAS REMAINED IN BUSINESS.

Beware bait and switch

Regarding the treadmill itself, it seems to be OK other than one sensor not connecting. The workaround is to use the controller to move as it is the main sensor that seemingly reads what my legs are doing. Also, this treadmill does not work with many or even most Meta games (at least the 25 or so games I've purchased), so it is not as compatible as they make it out to be. Usually I would contact support for help, but as you'll read, I don't believe that would be a fruitful endeavor.

Overall, this company has been a complete nightmare to deal with. I placed my order mid-November of 2025 and was dazzled by promises of free items with purchase. I was promised a one-year Meta Horizon subscription, shoes, Meta 3s headset and a Loco S. While I received the treadmill somewhat quickly, over a month passed and there was no sign of anything else being shipped. First time I contacted support, I was told they were not going to ship the items at all. Then, the second time I contacted, they said they would, but not until after the 30 day return window closed, which is somewhat understandable. Once that closed, I contacted again and they said everything would ship. However, today (around December 20, 2025) I received the shoes and a Loco S with, of course, no sign or tracking information for anything else.

Customer service was somewhat rude too when I contacted inquiring about the free things. As if somehow I am not owed them. I would not recommend ordering from them at all.

1/28/26 update
I still have not received the Meta 3S they promised. Today when I contacted customer support I was told that I will not receive it and that my order does not qualify. It is on the order confirmation, receipt, and tracking. This is the pure definition of bait and switch. Regarding the promised Meta Horizon gift card too, I was told today that their intention was always to send an Amazon gift card (completely different company) but they didn't have any in stock, so they instead offered and sent $60 in Steam cards.

I would also suggest you take note too of the extremely unhelpful response from them below this review too. I would further note their method of correcting the issue is to suddenly decide my order doesn't qualify for what was promised. Seems they do not care to have repeat customers.

REFUSED to send me shoes until they had…

REFUSED to send me shoes until they had it on record I wouldn't return or attempt refund of the item. Stated it was on the website then proceeded to give me a link to an unrelated promotion. I have my doubts I will ever use this thing as it is completely useless without the shoes. Extremely disappointed and feel used. DO NOT BUY.

Scammers and Bribery, Kat VR are Theives!

I purchased from Kat VR on Black Friday, only to request a cancellation of my order the same day after acquiring information about their scams, which I wish I had known sooner.

They quickly responded by telling me they're going to hold my order in case I change my mind and they proceeded to make multiple attempts to bribe me. I politely refused the bribes and requested a simple cancellation. They instead kept pushing their bribes as the best deal ever and proceeded to process my payment. Also, one of the bribes is their Loco S device, which according to some reviewers, doesn't even work at all.

A little over a week passed and still no refund so I contacted PayPal with a copy of the e-mails in order to dispute the processed payment. PayPal informed me that they contacted Kat VR but there was no response and PayPal gave me a full refund.

Don't trust shills on YouTube who get paid to give tech devices glowing reviews or possible future freebies for being overly positive. Also, keep in mind company employees will sometimes make a channel claiming they bought the device and love using it regularly. Check reviews from people who had to pay out of pocket and tested the device for at least a month while being critical of their purchase.

sincèrement excellent

sincèrement, j'avais les moyens en fevrier avant de refaire des travaux dans ma maison, et je voulais acheter le Meta quest 3 qui est au passage beaucoup trop bien, je voulais soit reprendre un rameur pour me maintenir en forme couplée avec un vélo elliptique, soit reprendre un abonnement de salle soit acheter le Kat vr pour refaire du sport. Je déteste le sport, genre vraiment. Bref, je me suis dit que au pire je perdais 800 boules au mieux, sa arrivais chez moi et on verra. Déjà le produit ne viens pas de chine (douane et complication possible avec un si gros objet) mais viens de Pragues, donc en europe et donc beaucoup plus simple pour l'envoie. Aucune complication, bien au contraire, quand le produit est arrivée en Belgique, j'ai reçus un appel d'une société de transport (le colis est de 80kg avec palette donc vaux mieux prévoir le coup) après m'être arranger pour la livraison, la palette avec le kat vr est arriver devant ma porte de salon, je l'ai déballer et monter en une dizaine de minutes, puis après l'avoir brancher a mon pc et suivis les mode d'emplois et aide YT je me suis retrouver dans Skyrim, fallout. Je trouve juste que les jeux dans le metaquest sont + immersif genre batman, car toute la technologie du meta quest est pris avec le tapis. J'ai eu quelques soucis pour Fallout VR et après un échange de mail fallout fonctionnais super bien(le services client est super réactif par mail). Vraiment jusqu'as maintenant j'ai rien a dire, je transpire bien, je perd du poids (pas autant que quand j'allais a la salle, mais il y a une diff entre faire du rameur et patater dans le corps de batman, des gens dans la rue). Petit tips, acheter du graissantsilicone en spray genre action pour graisser la plateforme, sa sera beaucoup mieux que l'huile fournie avec

Do NOT trust these people

Do NOT trust these people. They are running a give away that requires 5 star reviews. On top of that, their ads are highly misleading as to the state of their products.

Their treadmills are VERY FAR from plug and play. Oh, and the nexus for use with quest? You have to sign up to be a quest developer because it only works if you load modified versions of the games. Once you do that the Quest then will warn you about possibly getting banned for running hacked versions of the game instead of the official versions.

The treadmill does work, but do not even think about getting one unless you are willing to basically be a beta tester and spend almost as much time fighting with this thing as you do playing any game.

5 Stars! Requirement for VR!

Absolutely love this company. They have offered quick responses to ANY issue I faced, have an amazing community server and have encouraged me to become a content creator! I now have over 100 hours on my Treadmill and would completely repurchase it if I had too! 5 STARS and waiting for the next advancement in this technology! VR IS THE FUTURE!

For those who put time into creating a great experience

KatVR elevated my VR experience. I got tired of having to turn my camera with the analog stick or turning around in my play space to keep walking forward. While it takes some getting use to, being able to walk straight through places in VRChat really elevates my immersion.
The order did take abit, but I got every piece I needed and everything I ordered after a short while!

Two machines, 4 replacements

Got two machines - had to replace the sensor under it twice, both of them :(!
The first round of replacements were covered by warranty, and they know this piece is susceptible to breaking and instead of improving the quality, they send you the same sensors, only for them to break 1-2 years later after your warranty is up and now you have to pay ~$70 for a replacement on both, honeslty for 2k+ per machine i dont expect to replace a sensor every year, i dont even have to replace my tires as often as i replace these sensors, its goofy and sloppy :(

I dont remember the exact dates of all of these so i put a random date

Best VR treadmill on the market

This is the best VR treadmill (more like glide, but same idea) you can get in the market. I put years of research into watching the different brands put together a VR treadmill and this one is the most versatile and user friendly. It hosts pretty much any game you want. The software is regularly updated and I've only had positive experiences with customer service. I've enjoyed hours of fun on this treadmill. It's worth every penny.

I have been using the Katwalk C2 Plus for a while now, and I can confidently say that they blew my expectations out of the water! The immersion is next level, the ease of use is shockingly intuitive, and the sound is not nearly as much as a barrier as I thought it would be! I can whole heartedly recommend this to any VR enthusiast!!

Kat Walk C2 plus changed the way I experience VR forever

I consider my Kat Walk C2 plus to be the most successful and surprising consumer electronic purchases I have ever-made. Back when I purchased the C1 version - it was an emerging piece of tech, with little to compare it to, and little to no user feedback. It was a complete leap of faith, fueled by the desire to extend the limits of reality, and physically travel in VR. 5 years later and as the owner of 2 Kat VR treadmills, I am happy to report I have never regretted either purchase for one single instant. The freedom of movement, increased level of immersion, and safety that the Kat Walk treadmills provide, amounts to an experience that is not reproducible by any other form of gaming. Not to mention, during a long VR session, your mind doesn’t even realize you are physically exerting yourself and burning calories! This all combined with the excellent community of Kat VR users and company culture and friendly attitude towards its consumer base, make owning their products something else to feel good about. I haven’t been able to use my treadmill as often as I would like to lately, but when I do, I am still greeted with the same sense of awe I experienced the very first time and it always “just works.” I am not able to play any type of VR unless I can use my Kat Walk, it’s just that essential to my experience. Looking forward to the future of Kat VR and what they will surprise us with next!
