Quality of the product and backup when questioned the delivery date

Very impressed with the Kanama Waterproof aerator and vacuum pump for its ability to suit multiple purposes! Sick of my aerators dying after accidentally being knocked in the bucket of water by my clumsy mates! Fast delivery too!

Kanama products are high quality and expensive, but the versapump I purchased had an issue. It worked fine when I received and tested it, but did not turn on again 3 weeks later when I needed to actually use it. I reached out to customer service, and we had multiple exchanges. They always got back to me in at most a day, asked for evidence of defect (videos/photos), and eventually shipped me a brand new versapump. No fuss, very polite, the interaction was a pleasure and I am a satisfied customer again!

Additionnaly I can attest that the products are high quality. I have purchased from Kanama the pliers, versapump, and shrimp backpacks, and everything is solid, high quality stuff!

They are very handy to use for everything from pinching barbs to cutting line and releasing fish with ease. Have used them in fresh water and just finished a weekend in the salt water and they are holding up great. The holster and tether is very nice for quick access and making sure they don’t end up overboard! So far they have been great.

The pliers seem to be of good quality and do the job I purchased them for. They are well made and the cutters work as advertised. I have used them on only two fishing trips so I can not speak on their durability over time but so far they do everything I need them to do.

High quality product for a reasonable price in the comparable market. Looked for a multi use non rusting cutting pliers.

Chiyoko is hands down the best customer service representative I have ever dealt with. Although I have only unboxed my pliers, they seem to be very well made and I can’t wait to use them.

I came across the Kanama Smart Bait Fishing Pliers through a Facebook advert. To be honest, I thought they looked almost too good to be true. The design was impressive, but I was a little sceptical about whether the quality would match the marketing.
In the end, I decided to take a leap of faith and place an order.
I did have a small issue with the discount code during checkout, but I have to say the customer service was excellent. Even though I had already paid the full amount, they responded promptly and refunded the discount directly back to my bank account without any hassle. That gave me a very good first impression of the company.
The pliers arrived today, and my initial impressions are extremely positive. The plastic holster feels robust and well-made, not cheap or flimsy as you sometimes get with fishing accessories. The pliers themselves look fantastic. The grip is very comfortable and secure, and the stainless steel construction feels solid and high quality. They have a reassuring weight and seem to be built to last.

I haven’t had the chance to test them on the water yet—that will happen this weekend—but based on the build quality, finish, ergonomics and first impressions, I’m genuinely impressed.

If they perform on the bank as well as they look and feel, I think these will become my go-to fishing pliers.
I’ll update my review after I’ve had a chance to put them through a proper fishing session, but so far I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great comfortable grips, sharp cutters and just all round great pliers. I would like to see a clip in them to keep the pliers closed of not in the sheath.
