No complaints at all
The kalimba showed up in perfect condition and was package very nicely. The engraved work is fantastic and really does make it feel that much more special. The sound and quality of the instrument is also great. There's really nothing I can find to be displeased about. Great job!

Wonderful service
Wonderful service. The Kalimba arrived safe and well packaged. Beautiful instrument. Our only issue was the high E key was dead. After contacting Kalimbera they suggested moving the E and C key side to side and retuning it. We did this with no success. Therefore they sent us a brand new one which is wonderful! A fantastic company where customer satisfaction is of utmost importance.

Vielen Dank für Ihre freundliche Bewertung! Wir freuen uns, dass es Ihnen gefällt!
Great job, Kalimbera!
My flat board Cuckoo kalimba arrived 11 working days after the order (I live in Poland). It looks beautiful, it feels very nice when hold in hands. Both Kalimbera logo engraved on the bottom and my graphic engraved on the top are beautiful. My graphic approx. 11 cm x 3 cm uses most of the width of this kalimba. The board is 2 cm thick and allow to use contact microphone of Korg TM-60C tuner. The sound is very good, seems fuller and brighter than my Gecko K17CAS. Great job, Kalimbera!

WoW!! Awesome and Beautiful!
WoW!!! I just received my new Kalimba and it’s beautiful and the engraving is beyond awesome. Thank you to all those who created my beautiful Kalimba! Awesome communication from Kalimbera from initial purchase that had to be fixed to include my choice of engraving, to sending me shipping updates and a beautiful picture of my personal Kalimba. When I opened the shipping box and played each tine, the sound was angelic and perfectly tuned. I pray your business continues to grow and blossom into a world renowned and trusted creator of beautiful Kalimba’s. God Bless and Aloha- Mari

The highest notes don't seem to resonate so well when being plucked but I like how it's so light while you're holding it. It seems you don't hold anything.

Hi Asunya
Before we ship the Kalimbas, we make sure that they are fully resonant. Because of the vibrations and temperature changes during transport, it can get out of tune and the wood can shrink/expand.
I would recommend putting the Kalimba in a relatively dry (20%-30 humidity) and warm room (20-25 Celsius) for ~ 5 days, and then try to re-tune it :) this usually fixes the less resonant end tines.
Please also know that the hollow Kalimbas have less loud end-tines, and this is valid for all Kalimbas out there. It has to do with the length of the key. This, by the way, happens only when it's tuned in Standard C - if you tune it down I guarantee that ALL tines will sound loud and clear :)
If any of this is helpful, please reconsider changing the review to 5stars.
Thank you and have a lovely day ahead.
Nataliya
