Fantastic service . Just had my triple glazed windows fitted . I took advantage of the brilliant offers that were available and I can say I am delighted with the end results. Can I say a big thank you to the fitting team ( Mike was leading the team) cant praise them enough . David the salesman was very professional . Thank you everyone

New triple glazed windows our existing windows had become quite old and draughty so decided it was time for a change we had a previous quote off another local company and having seen the quality and guarantees we decided to sign up to jws . The process ran very smoothly from survey to installation all done within 4 days . The result was dramatic not only on the appearance but the warmth amazing can only praise next job our facia ?12

Having done all my research i decided to give my order to jws home improvement ltd The fitters turned up prompt at 9am on the Monday to fit my triple glazed windows and composite doors they were very polite and just got on with it. By the 3 rd day they moved on to the doors always using dust sheets to contain any mess. Finally on the forth day late on they removed all the old stuff into their van. The end product was fantastic I couldn’t have been more pleased well done jws you are stars. !

We had new gutters, soffits, French doors and a conservatory roof and couldn't fault JWS. The fitting teams were both great, very tidy and removed all the rubbish. The house looks great and the job appears to be of an excellent standard.

We hired JWS Oct 2025 to replace our conservatory windows and old polycarbonate roof with glass, and also replace 2 bay windows, each consisting of 3 separate windows. Work started in November 2025, and should have been 5 days in total. It took the best part of 3 months from start to finish.
I do not like writing negative reviews for local businesses, however, I would not recommend this company or have them back for any future work. The larger of our issues I’ve listed below.
Conservatory issues:
-conservatory roof and windows removed, despite being assured at point of sale our property would be protected from the weather with tarpaulins etc, it was left completely exposed during November weather. Needless to say everything was drenched- flooring, walls, electrics etc. They tried to reassure me this is normal and they see it all the time…
-2 large windows measured wrong and needed reordering. This would take 2 weeks.
-1 of the roof panes was smashed during installation and a different piece of the roof had been measured wrong so both needed re ordering - 2 weeks. Meanwhile water is continuing to get in as the old roof/windows were gone.
-several panes of glass were scratched and/or cracked when we checked them after installation
-the roof leaked after it was replaced. The initial response I got was that this is also normal as conservatories aren’t 100% watertight…who knew! It has now finally been resolved by sealing areas previously missed.
-the new French door entire locking strip broke within days of installation
-protective end caps were not fitted to external roof bars down 1 side, 1 roof bar cover was 2 patched together pieces, not 1 continuous piece, apparently this is also normal!
-4 days this job should have taken and it took the best part of 3 months from start to finish.

Now to the bay windows:
-the fitter was arranged for a Saturday only to have him call that morning to say he couldn’t find our new windows in the warehouse so couldn’t come.
-the office call me on Monday, the window order had been cancelled in error, so they needed reordering and it would be…you guessed it…2 weeks
-window fitting process started on a Monday, this was a 1 day job. It was not finished until the following Monday, with the windows left unsealed for the week.
-2 of these glass panes were also scratched/cracked when we checked them after installation

When I asked about compensation for all of the inconvenience and stress (this has been impacting my work, personal life, childcare and dog care which I have been juggling around JWS coming and going for weeks instead of days), their initial response was to raise their margins not being enough. They also raised this was especially the case as we’d had a free door (this was a door we didn’t order so was their mistake) and a free upgrade to the glass in the bay windows (again, not something we had requested or ordered, so their mistake). I found this unprofessional and it highlighted to me their priority to line their pockets rather than take ownership and accountability for their poor service and workmanship.

Just had our conservatory roof tiled in two days. Amazing work, superb lads; Ryan and Anthony. Cracked on with the work, very polite and very hardworking.
Reece came to fit the spot lights and offered any additional support if we needed it. The communication from start to finish was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone.

After speaking with Chris at the door I decided to have Jws round to give me an estimate on changing my conservatory roof. I’m so glad I gave them the chance as everything from start to finish has been excellent and extra credit to the fitting team for fitting it through the recent weather we have had. Will 100% be back next year for my doors

The fitters did an excellent job, good workmanship,very polite and courteous. I can feel the difference between the triple and double glazing. All round good experience I will definitely use them if I need anything else in the future.

From start to finish I have found JWS to be most helpful and professional, the no pressure salesman Stevan was informative and respectful toward us, he was patient while I went for other estimates and was patient when we changed our minds to the colour and type of glazing we ultimately went for. Same with the surveyor who measured up for installation. Everything went to plan with no problem and all measurements were correct. The installation team were excellent, very clean and tidy, the had a good sense of humour and crack on with job, windows are lovely and well fitted. I would certainly recommend this company for all your window needs, I will be returning to them in the future for new facias and soffits and drain pipes. Very impressed from start to finish.

Company ignore notice on front door advising not to knock or post leaflets. I will never use a company that ignores the home owners. Some people work nights and should not be disturbed by cold calling when a clear sign is on the door advising no soliciting.

We had a sliding patio door installed today. The installation guys were really quick and tidy, leaving no mess.
The job looks excellent. The whole process from start to finish was clear and followed the exact timeline discussed with the salesman up front.
5 out of 5 folks - well done. You have set the standard.

Very thorough measuring up and checking over what materials etc would be needed before the job started. Installers worked hard and did a brilliant job. All rubbish taken away. Very pleased with our new windows and door

Did a fantastic job can’t fault it BUT I’ve had scaffolding outside my house for 2 weeks now. After numerous phone calls it is still there. I am sick of it. I would suggest that if you use this company I would withhold payment until it is totally completed.

Darren and Paul arrived punctually. They were both very pleasant and did an excellent job in fitting the windows. Everywhere was left neat and tidy, and we would recommend JWS.

I loved the style, colour and it looks so much better, even the inside looks brighter.
Mike and his partner were professional, friendly, they cleaned up before they went
and any rubbish was taken away when they left. The job was completed in very good time.

We recently had a patio door installed and are very happy with the overall service. The price was fair, the builders were polite, and the workmanship was of good quality. Customer service was responsive, and although we had a few snagging issues, these were resolved quickly and to a high standard. Quality of the product (door) was excellant.

There were a couple of minor improvement points — the main building work was quite messy (the area could have been sheeted up better), and communication was a little slow at times.

That said, we’re absolutely delighted with the end result. The new door looks great and has made a real difference to the space. All in all, a very good service — we would 100% recommend them and would be happy to use them again in the future.

After having a door fitted by JWS a couple of years ago I went back to them for a quote for a new conservatory roof. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome! From the guy who came to see me initially to the planning of the job, the communication was excellent and I have been left with a beautiful conversion which now feels like an extension of my home rather than the too cold / too hot conservatory I have had for the last 8 years! Thanks to all at JWS I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and will be coming back for my new windows next year!
