I moved address in Eastbourne and found this company to be very professional from the outset. The lady visited me and later gave a quote for the move which was acceptable. On my move day the men arrived promptly. They were polite, hard working and took care of my possessions. I really could not fault them. Just brilliant. I would very much recommend this company.
JWD Removals were recommended to me and I am very pleased that I went with them. They do not over charge and were reliable and efficient. Made my life easier before and after moving! They also gave me boxes and delivered them to me!

We spoke to Dave at JWD, who explained , although busy , they could send a couple of guys , at the end of the day , to arrange the removal our furniture , or the next day . thy came the same day.

Beware of using this company.
One of their drivers hit the side of my car whilst overtaking a bus and proceeded to drive off. After a 2 mile chase we finally caught up with him got him to pull over and take responsibilities. He gave us he's details and told us to get in touch with his firm. When we phoned them up to sort it out they were incredibly rude and we didn't even apologise. If they are removing our goods please be careful because they are not.

We refer to your review concerning an incident involving your vehicle and one of our HGVs. While we respect your right to express your perspective, we must categorically address the inaccuracies and unfounded claims in your statement.
JWD Removals is a long-established family business with over 65 years of impeccable service. Our fleet operates with the utmost professionalism, and our vehicles are equipped with 360-degree cameras and telematics that record all movements, ensuring a factual account of every incident.
Upon review of the footage, the following facts have been established:
No overtaking of a bus occurred: Contrary to your claim, the bus in question was traveling in the opposite direction. At no time did our driver overtake or engage in any unsafe manoeuvre involving a bus.
The "two-mile chase": Pursuing a vehicle over this distance on public roads is not only hazardous but may constitute an offense under UK road traffic laws. We strongly advise caution in making such admissions, as this could attract scrutiny from enforcement authorities.
Driver conduct: Our driver adhered to all traffic regulations, including stopping at the first safe location. At this point, your male passenger approached our driver in a threatening manner, carrying what appeared to be a rod or stick, and used aggressive and foul language. Despite this, our driver provided the required legal details.
Further, your allegation that we are “rude” and “unsafe” is refuted by the evidence. We also note that a follow-up call made to our office by your male companion involved offensive, abusive, and sexually explicit language directed at our staff. This unacceptable behaviour caused considerable distress to our employees and was recorded in detail.
Your statement suggesting that customers “beware of using this company” is both defamatory and misleading. Such comments can cause significant reputational damage and financial harm to our business. Please be advised that defamatory statements of this nature are actionable under UK law, and we are prepared to defend our business interests vigorously.
We urge you to retract or amend your review to reflect the factual inaccuracies outlined above. Failure to do so may leave us no option but to pursue legal remedies, including but not limited to claims for defamation and damages.

After getting a quote from David, we decided to go the whole hog and get JWD to pack and move us. Gary, Sam and Dean did a great job, everything was very thoroughly wrapped and packed on day one, then speedily moved out of our old home and into our new on day two. We would highly recommend.
Brilliant service, great bunch of lads.

Great service from start to finish. Reliable, polite and professional and their quote was the best by far for such a professional set up. Matt and Shane were brilliant on the day with great care for my belongings.

Fabulous Removal Service. Matt came to provide a quote, happy he did as wouldn't trust any firm that simply gives quotes over phone. He planned everything in. Price was acceptable. On the day they arrived bang on time, were careful about how they wnt about their business -which was done with military precision. Away they went off loaded at the new home putting every item in exactly the right place. Couldn't fault it one bit, great service from start to finish.
