Visited their Knottingley workshop to diagnose and repair an electrical fault on a newish Cannondale. I didn't buy the bike from them but was impressed with the service. They had a look straight away, then called the UK distributer to get more technical support and resolved the issue in short order. Good to know people like this exist.

I ordered a item online on the Monday but phoned first to be told that they had what I wanted and it would be put on one side for me ... Item was ordered in the next 10 minutes and chose next day delivery on checkout.. come Friday nothing has arrived ... phoned only to be told they had let someone else have it ... I did not receive this item till the following Tuesday.. Very poor service.. was not kept informed about the situation as a result I will not be dealing with them again or recommending them to anyone.

Excellent service! I couldn't be more impressed with J's (and Chris). Always responsive, and very patient whilst waiting for my B2W voucher to be processed. Bike turned up requiring minimal assembly and with grease and carbon griper already applied in the relevant places (which for some reason I was worried about!) and the customisation (wheels and cassette size) I had requested had been applied. Planning on making Js my first stop for any purchases going forward!

Collected a BMC roadmachine, and traded in Giant yesterday. Superb bike fit by Kevin. Had first 30 miler today no aches and pains whatsoever. Hands down best LBS I've encountered. Just wish they weren't so far away. I think Yorkshire cyclists are lucky to have them.

Purchased a Pinarello Grevil from Js Cycle Shack, Josh couldn’t have been more helpful, great comms throughout! The bike was delivered by James, once the bike had been built, and on delivery went through everything and made sure I was happy. Really smooth process from start to finish, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Bike fit at J's today. Kev was absolutely amazing! Very helpful explained everything and had the patience of a saint. Thankyou so much for you help today the bike feels like it's part of me. Will defo return and cant recommend enough.

Excellent service, my bike was listed in stock, but it was not at the end and they could not get it anytime soon, they offered me higher tier model for the same price and it arrived next day. Great communication, recommended 5*

Ordered a bike that was showing available to dispatch next day. After 3 days I contacted the store to find out what was happening. I was told that they actually didn't have the bike and would be contacting Scott to get one by start of the following week. I contacted on the Tuesday to be told there are none available (still showing as available on the site), so i enquired about a refund as saw one available elsewhere. They said that they are still working on it and could I give them a chance to solve, which I agreed. They came back on the Thursday and said that they've found another bike and do I still want it as "it's on its way to us". Reluctantly I agreed, and that I'd like a call on the Saturday to either confirm the bike had been dispatched or a refund was getting processed, to which it was explained that getting a refund from CycleSheme was very complicated and could take time "probably about Tuesday". I received a missed call and a voicemail saying that they were ringing about the bike 3 minutes before their closing time. I rang back on the Monday to be told the bike still hadn't arrived with them but it was still in transit and should be with them soon, and I'd get the bike dispatched by "mid-week" (we are on the 3rd week now). I rang back on the Tuesday just to see if bike had arrived, and my main contact (Josh) wasn't in work. The other guy I spoke to didn't know anything about it but assured me I would have the bike by the weekend. I rang on the Friday to be told by Josh that the bike was still in transit from their partner store (so far, 8 days carrier time for a bike!!). At this point I'd had enough of getting lied to and cancelled my order. To add insult to the situation, I received a new voucher from Cycle Sheme within the hour. Absolute joke of a business, I'd avoid like the plague.

They organised a collection and replacement straight away
Brilliant service putting the customer first . I will use the team there now for more purchases ref cycling triathlon as my first choice

The team at J's recently sourced a bike for me which was tricky to get hold of due to it being last seasons, they went above and beyond what they had to to find me the bike and kept me updated on their progress every step of the way. As the bike was an ex-demo it was suffering from a few marks, so for a small cost J's sent it away to correct the paintwork for me and to my relief when I came to collect it it looked like a completely brand new bike.

I have since used the workshop for servicing and cannot fault it, they are efficient and professional and I've never had any issues getting booked in or getting my bike back on the agreed timescales.

Relieved that J's Cycle Shack is local to me and wouldn't choose to shop anywhere else - 100% recommend.

J’s cycle shack is the best cycle shop I have ever visited. The staff are very polite and also very very knowledgable in all areas of the cycling industry.
I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get into cycling, purchase a new cycle or those who Are wanting to expert advice in all areas of cycling including service and repairs
