Second Joyride harness, still great product
This is our second joyride harness. The first lasted for many years, was great. Just when we were thinking about replacing it because it was looking pretty grungy, the clip broke. We had lots of good years and we're happy to purchase a new one. The harness is great, just like the first one. The fit, quality, construction, leash brackets... All great. The only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is the strap that goes under the dog is much thinner, and the clip is small and difficult to release to remove. I recommend bringing the larger clips back, much easier to use and release. Even with that, it's a great product and we are pleased with it.

The extra small harness was a perfect fit for my 4 pound bundle of fluff, an American Eskimo puppy 11 weeks old.

Not good with customer service
I have purchased 4 joyride harnesses leashes and seat belts for gifts over the last few years. My son’s dog was buckled into the moving car with the equipment on and was able to pull out by breaking the buckle and leap out of the moving car. I sent an email to notify Joyride of what had happened with photos of the seat belt and the dog who had only minor injuries. They responded to the email only to say they were disappointed that happened and another part of their company would get back to me. That was 6 months ago or more and I think they won’t respond at this point. I have also had problems with exchanges when they sent the wrong color. They never sent the corrected color. They are good at selling just not so great with customer service. Their clips are plastic (but look metal) and that is why the 45 lb dog was able to break loose.

This harness is very high quality, BUT
This harness is very high quality and heavy duty, easy to use, HOWEVER, our dog has figured out if he stretches, he can back right out of it. It's perfect when the dogs are walking forward, but not so good for our escape artist. After three episodes of running through the streets trying to rescue our dog, sorry to say, this harness is being replaced.

If your dog was able to slip out, we highly recommend reviewing this blog for essential pro-tips to ensure the best fit: Avoiding the Slip – Joyride Harness Customer Testimonials. Proper fit is key, and sometimes it’s not just about tightness but also the strap placement based on your dog’s individual shape. One minor adjustment can make a significant difference, so we suggest testing a few settings in a safe area to find what works best for your escape artist.
While we cannot guarantee the harness is completely “Houdini-proof” (some pups are just too clever!), it should be very secure when properly adjusted. For added peace of mind, you might also consider using a "safety strap" or "safety cord" that attaches to a collar and leash as a backup precaution for those extra wriggly pups.

I ordered a green harness by mistake. Wanted a blue harness. You can’t speak to a human being, web site was impossible to handle. Still have green harness in package it came in. You think they would have gotten (verbally) in touch with me, being a repeat customer.

Just What We Needed
The fleece harness jacket is perfect for keeping our pug warm on his morning walks on cold days. He needs that extra length and fleece that the regular harness does not have.

This is my second purchase
This is my second purchase . I also have bought the collars . I donated my old ones to a rescue. I find them easy to use and they go on super easy I have 2 basset hounds and they are 65# they don’t constrict on their throat which Is important.
They are easy to control walking they still pull a little but not so much. They look stylish too

One of the clips broke on one harness
One of the clips broke on one harness. We purchased 3 harnesses for our 3 small dogs, 2 under 15lbs and one 22lbs. One of the fastener clips broke on the larger dogs harness. He’s a puller and we’re trying to find him a new harness. Not sure if this is a usual flaw in the clips. The other 2 are good. Hesitant to buy another.

These are good harnesses
These are good harnesses. I've had three since I discovered them. Easy on/Easy off, dogs seem comfortable in them.

Great experience, great product
Ordering was easy. I purchased two harnesses. One did not fit. The return process was also easy. Within days, I had the replacement in the correct size.
I love having a handle to grab onto to pick up my Shih-Tzu when he is being stuborn! These are well made.

Horrible Customer Service
This feedback is solely for their customer service. The harness worked well but they are terrible at providing service. I placed an order early Saturday morning online. As soon as I received the confirmation, I realized the color for the corresponding seat belt was incorrect. I sent an email then asking for them to send the green as I thought I had ordered. I got a response Sunday afternoon saying they could not swap the color because the order had been "dispatched." I got the notification of shipping on Monday, so they had almost 48 hours to make my order correct. If they had time to ship, they had time to check their emails. They told me I could return for an exchange. If I send this item back, they will force me to use their $6.95 shipping label. Forget it! I will keep the incorrect item and not buy from them again. Also, their website does not allow for feedback.
