Outstanding customer service and immediate support

I’ve had nothing but exceptional experiences with Joolca’s customer support. Whenever I encountered an issue with a product, they were quick to reply and resolve it immediately. I never had to wait days for a response. For instance, when I reported a leak in the shower hose, I sent them a video, and they instantly replied that a replacement would be sent out. They even provided package details right away, ensuring I knew exactly when to expect it. Every interaction has been smooth, and their team is always helpful and accommodating. It’s reassuring to know that any questions or concerns will be addressed promptly and efficiently.

Joolca great product and warranty service

Received our JOOLCA this summer and am glad we purchased it. We use it at our remote property in AK as well as when we are traveling / camping. Had a few items break during first use and contacted JOOLCA about warranty and they immediately sent out replacements. Great product and great customer service.

I ordered a product from Joolca several months ago which ended up failing after the first use. I reached out to Joolca with the issue and they quickly got back to me and backed their 2 year warranty, no questions asked!! Always great to work with and see a company that backs their products!

Happy Camper!!

We are tent campers that don't use campgrounds. Though I love the Great Outdoors, I like my showers. This can be quite challenging when dry camping. You need to conserve water, but get clean. We tried the "hanging water bag" and several battery operated systems, none worked consistently or worked well. Finally I came across the Joolca and decided to give it a try. LOVE IT!!! The system is so easy to set-up and use. We purchased the Nomad system. The water temp and flow are easy to adjust and puts out really hot water fast, no waiting. One of the and best thing about it is how everything stores in the tub which makes set-up and tear-down very easy. It makes transport and storing easy too. We also purchased the battery pack and double shower tent. Love it all and Highly recommend this product. We did have issue with battery pack and contacted Custmer Service. They were very quick to respond, solved the issue, and check back with us to make sure all was good. We would do it all again.

Horrible customer service and…

Horrible customer service and borderline fraud. Thousands of customers paid upfront to get their portable tiolet. I paid in Jan 2024 and they keep providing excuses from their web site issues to product delays and now some seal issue. NOT ONE has been delivered and they now claim maybe in Oct or Nov 2024. I don't believe them and feel they used millions of $$$$ without intending to deliver one pr9duct that's fraud. I contacted better business bureau. Will never buy from Joolca again.

I'm very sorry to hear about the poor experience you've had with, namely with the GottaGo toilet pre-order. I completely understand why you're frustrated with the delays, and I’m really sorry for the hassle.

I'd like to provide some context as to why there is a long wait for new products like the GottaGo Toilet. Taking preorders makes it possible for us to fund the development and manufacturing process as it can be pretty expensive. As a way of saying thanks, we offer discounted prices for preorders early on. During the preorder, we try our best to keep everyone updated on their order. We've sent out emails to explain the reasons for the delays, and have offered refunds if the new dates don't work for customers. That said, we are aware that we can be more proactive and do better with forecasting and communication, and we've actively made changes to make sure we are more accurate with dates and communication.

You're right; we ran into some issues with the GottaGo Toilets' seals during the final production stages. We didn't want to send out anything less than perfect, so we reworked the seals to fix them. The good news is that the production has been going well since then and the first batch of GottaGo Toilets will be shipped out in a few days!

It's never our goal to mislead or disappoint anyone, but I do recognise that the delays can be very frustrating, and I am very sorry. Great Customer Service

Thanks Joolca, for the awesome customer service! My Hot Tap cover had a zipper failure and within 48 hours Joolca sent a replacement. The process was easy and painless. All it took was a couple of emails and some pictures of the defect. Great Company, Great Team!

Awesome Products + Customer Service!

Joolca's products and customer service are awesome. We had am issue with a faucet handle that we use with our Joolca Tub. I received an email response within 24 hours and after some quick troubleshooting they sent out a replacement part which arrived just a couple days later. Can't say enough good things about Joolca!

Worked great for a few months then all…

Worked great for a few months then all the fittings started leaking. I've replaced the kitchen faucet 5 times in 2 years. Great califont but the hoses and fittings are very cheap rubbish.

Be AWARE of this SCAMMERS, they say that you can return everything for free within 30 days of receiving the item, just purchased their Hot Tub to give it a try since i have their shower and sink and i love it. Unfortunately i didn’t like the hot tub. Its too expensive for what it offers in my opinion, i sent email that i want to return item with no response, after 3 days i sent another one, still nothing so i started to try contacting them trough social media, they were still ignoring me, when i started to post on their social media that they are SCAMMERS they answered immediately and assured me that this is because they are very busy and i will receive shipping label soon, it was 16 days ago and they didn’t responded with label. Worst buying experience ever. They scammed me for 500$ i am goin to dispute charge with chase and i hope this way i will get my money back… SCAMMERS SCAMMERS SCAMMERS, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO RUN BUSINESS, THEIR MOTTO IS SELL AND FORGET…

I'm very sorry for the disappointing experience you've had with Joolca so far. I understand that you purchased the HOTTUB after loving the HOTTAP Nomad and I'm sorry to hear that the HOTTUB didn't live up to your expectations. I can see that you have requested to return your HOTTUB and it has taken us over a week to provide you with a return label. I can definitely understand how frustrating this could be, but I assure you that we are completely legitimate.

I'd like to provide some context as to why this has taken so long. We have recently started working with a new warehouse and we rely on them to generate return labels for us. Unfortunately, their response times can be very slow which causes these issues. This is not the norm for us and we're working on addressing this. We've already set up weekly meetings with them to set KPIs, hire new staff, and improve response times so we can avoid situations like this.

I've had a look at your messages with us and can see that we have provided you with a return label to get your HOTTUB back to us for a refund. I'll personally make sure that your refund is processed once you send your HOTTUB back to us.

Again, I am sorry that you've had such a poor experience, and I look forward to making this right for you.

Great product, detailed review

Hottap unit is easy to setup and use, tub is perfect size for storage fits everything without being overly difficult to pack it all in.
Light breeze will blow out the flame if placed along/against walls placing it in sheltered spot away from walls will help, does reignight if it blows out and water still flowing.

The units stand can be a bit finicky to setup, its hard to balance the unit and clip in the lines under the unit and around the legs of stand, laying flat and connecting it all first then stand it up makes this easier.

Have written in permanent marker on unit hotter and colder on gas and water flow to help others use the product.
more water = colder,
Less gas = colder
less water = hotter.
More gas = hotter.

Switches on tap and shower head work great for ease of use.

Pump 20% of the time keeps running after turning off the taps, if in a shower tent this is hard as trying to dry off quickly to turn the pump off that is pressurized but still running outside. placing pump within arms reach of the shower can fix this, keeping in mind only 2 meters maximum of hose from water source to pump can be used.

Tub is great for storing the unit and washing up on mains or access to lots of fresh water, however we find a smaller tub than the joolca tub is required for camping with limited water supply

Showers can be easy and nice if you have a fresh water stream or lake or water mains, without this only short showers is a must as pump can run at 6l/min can drain a 20 liter jerrycan in 3.5 mins. This is standard to camping off grid and any unit will be the same.

Filter works well nice weight to it so sits on bottom of water source.

Have used this for heating up the kids pool on cold days, they love it.

Overall glad we purchased this unit haven't had any warranty claims with this kit, we setup for washing up every stop while camping, and if staying for more than 3 days we tend to setup with the joolca recirculating shower base/floor to recirculated 20 litres of water with the filter attached.

Thanks for the detailed review of your Joolca HOTTAP! I'm happy to hear that you find the HOTTAP easy to use and that the Nomad Tub fits everything you need perfectly.

I appreciate you sharing your tips and tricks on how to get the HOTTAP setup effortlessly. Marking the HOTTAP about the temperature settings sounds like a nice idea so others can be familiar with its heat settings.

Also, laying the HOTTAP flat certainly makes it easier to connect the hoses and secure the stand/legs in place. This is how we recommend the HOTTAP be set up before first use. :)
Regarding your pump, it should stop running as soon as you turn the showerhead off. You shouldn't have to turn the pump off to stop it from running. I'd like to take a closer look at this and see where the problem is and resolve it for you! Poor customer service and communication

I ordered a product, needed to change delivery address to the same as the billing address, they couldn't process this even though they confirmed the product was still in process and not shipped, then I requested a cancelation while product was still not shipped, they said that cancelation is being processed and the next day I received a email product is being shipped, they will not speak with you, forced email only

Unreliable product

Unreliable product, it will let you down on your holiday, not once but twice for us, pump is rubbish, they have on going problems but won’t continue to replace them once warranty is done on first one. Keep sending pumps that have the same issue

Buyers beware of this company

Buyers beware of this company. See other reviews below. Customer service is terrible. It has been 9-10 days now and they've said they still haven't processed my order. I have spent about $160AUD. The receipt of purchase email say orders get shipped within hours of purchase on a business day. Somewhat misleading or inaccurate I would say. How about a little more honesty here Joolca?

There is an automated customer service response email that says you have to wait 2-3 days for a reply. I got a faster reply by saying I would cancel. They then said I just have to wait until the order gets processed. What AMAZING customer service this is. SO helpful.

I'm assuming they're using robots rather actual people at the moment because this response gets a zero out of ten on the helpful scale.

Probably somewhat naively I expect better from an Australian owned company than this. Why do we have to wait so long when we lay down a decent bit of cash online Joolca? Look at your last few reviews on TrustPilot. Something isn't right with this brand.

Why can't you be more honest or even helpful? If I hadn't asked about my order how long would I be waiting to hear from you? FYI. I have bought the full set up previously not just these couple of items.

I know this is a late response (we've recently just set up our Trustpilot account to respond and help everyone out), but I'd love to get more info on your order and experience to help make our service better for everyone and potentially find out what went wrong.

So, we're definitely not using robots—our team is made up of real people. Like most companies, we use a bit of automation to help link helpful articles quickly.

Regarding the delay in dispatching, if orders haven't been processed yet, it could be because it was placed over the weekend, the order was a pre-order, or maybe there was a glitch. A tiny number of orders can slip through the cracks (unfortunately to system glitches), and if that happened here, I'm really sorry.
Normally, we dispatch orders the same day if placed before 12 pm, or the next business day.

Regarding order cancellation, we have to make sure the orders are cancelled and not dispatched before issuing a refund. We can’t refund and ship out the order at the same time—that makes for bad business! This can take a few days, but we will always provide a refund.

I am sorry if it felt like we weren’t being honest. I’d love to look into your ticket and see what went wrong. Even though this response is late, we're all about improving and making things better.

Absolute Rip off

Absolute Rip off , ordered parts , half came , for months the day it was out of stock and will be sent shortly , then over 2 months later the tell me they have sent it , I paid and ordered 2 items at same time , hose and filter , the hose came but no filter , they say according to them it says delivered but when looking at it it dose not say item delivered, I keep complaining saying if I had received my filter I wouldn’t keep messaging them asking for it , they are a bunch of shifty thieves , don’t buy from this company

crap experience

I ordered in June, spent over $600, received a useless part, and never received the water heater. just excuse after excuse of when it was coming, I finally asked for a refund today October 3rd, its snowing where I live and I wont be camping for 8 months. Save your money and shop somewhere else. crap experience.

UPDATE: there was no back order and I re-ordered again this year....on May 20th $902 charged to my visa....guess what no water heater as of June 17th... again email after email about where my order is, then when I asked for a manager to find out why the shipment from Richmond to Whitehorse had not happened...apparently the manager cannot call the warehouse, they "re-ordered" and still no water heater. This seems fraudulent.
