Day one verdict on the JetClock Zero: I keep getting distracted by it. Plug it into a screen via HDMI, no assembly required, and it just starts telling you what's flying over your house and where it's headed.

It's made in the UK by what's clearly a small team who took a Raspberry Pi and a flight-tracking feed and turned it into something you'd actually want on a desk. Nothing about the hardware itself is groundbreaking. The execution is perfect!

Customisation is where I've lost most of my day. Different display styles, how much flight detail shows, tweaking it until it looks right. Way more time than I meant to spend on it.

It's not for everyone, obviously. If you don't care what's flying overhead this will do nothing for you. But if you're the sort who does, it scratches an itch nothing else really does.

Buying a second one for a mate who'll get it immediately.

Fabulous product, as a non-technical aviation nerd, I love seeing and knowing what airlines are flying over my head, and this product was the perfect birthday present! Olly has been wonderful in actioning improvements and any bugs that affect the product and is continuing to implement new features. I can see this product growing over the years to something incredible. This is a must-buy for those that share the love for aviation!

Purchased the app to use on a tablet, and it works great. Love being able to work and see what's passing by. Also love the customisation on it, which I didn't even realise came with it. A couple times I have checked it against flight radar and it's perfect. Did I need it? No. But it's more interesting than just a regular desk top clock and a conversation piece.

I found it when I was looking at these other flight tracking desk top pieces and they looked so basic and I felt like there would be something more modern out there, and this is it! Displays a clock, which you can customise, I have date, sunset time and temperature on mine, then when a plane passes a plane graphic flies across the screen and the flight data is shown. Again that page is customisable so you can pick what info about the flight you want to see.

I haven't tried out the specific flight tracking aspect yet so cannot comment. Overall very happy.

Downloaded JetClock onto my Fire HD tablet a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. As a Private Pilot and Aviation Geek, it’s cool to see aircraft in the area. The graphics are excellent and the flexibility of what to display makes the display a great clock/weather station, too. Do I need this product? No. But is it fun as hell? Yes. The display lives in my den along with other Aviation themed stuff and brings a dynamic element to my collection. Like I said, it’s just “plane” (yeah, I went there…) fun. If you love planes/aviation, I think you’ll like it too.
