Had a great experience with Jeffries. They sold our two rentals and our main residence in the past year. We were multiple agency on them and J&D sold all three. Ashley, Ben, Francesca, and Louise were brilliant at providing feedback on all viewings. Nicole, is such a warm, kind person who negotiated the sale on our main residence, we were very impressed with her. I have to say special thanks to Michelle, she was highly responsive, settled our nerves on numerous occasions and is fantastic at what she does. She has been our main point of contact for all of our sales and it wouldn’t have gone the way we wanted without her. She is an absolute credit to your company. I have recommended J&D to everyone I know because I feel they go above and beyond for every sale. We are settled in our new home thanks to them.

I was purchasing a property that was being marketed through Jeffries.
The service received from Gary Neilgrove was highly commendable. He kept in constant contact with me throughout the year ( it was a long process with people in the chain pulling out). He always responded to his emails straightaway or answered my calls promptly. He was the one chasing through the chain and emailing everyone to let them know about any progress.
He was very professional yet so approachable and nothing was ever too much trouble.
I am an advocate for Jeffries and would recommend them to anyone who is considering moving home.

Customer service branch in Portsmouth lettings absolute shocking.
Rude and unhelpful staff.
One person tells you one thing then someone else change the goal post.
I wouldnt rate any stars.

Had an offer accepted on a property late on a Saturday. Told them we could take any any documents etc to them on Monday, to receive a call on Sunday evening saying someone had put an offer (I believe the same or very similar to my offer) and they were going with them. Not even a chance to up our offer. Something definatly underhand going on, as when we had to sell my late parents house. Jefferies came to value it and gave us a real low valuation. Then proceed to say we know someone who will buy this.
Needless to say we sold it through someone else for £15 0000 more

I would strongly advise caution when dealing with Cobham Furniture.

We purchased carpet and installation services, and shortly after fitting, the carpet developed significant pilling and looked worn and poor quality. It also became clear that even minor marks could not be cleaned properly.

More concerningly, the carpet on the staircase came loose, exposing the gripper and creating a safety risk in a household with small children. Even their own inspector confirmed that the carpet “should not come loose” and required repair.

Instead of taking responsibility, the company attempted to blame maintenance and even suggested that the issue was caused by our cat. During a visit, their representative also made additional claims (such as requiring a specific type of vacuum cleaner), which were not even supported by the written report.

The inspection itself was arranged by the retailer, so I do not consider it independent.

While they eventually sent someone to temporarily fix the step, they refused to acknowledge the underlying issues with both the installation and the carpet quality.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, with poor product quality, questionable workmanship, and a lack of accountability.

Brilliant service from Gary & Team at Waterlooville branch, selling my late Father's property. Totally professional in all aspects of the transaction, regularly updating me with progress reports. Gary is extremely knowledgeable & approachable, 100% recommended, first class!

A disappointing phone call from their Waterlooville branch on the 28th February 2026, when I decided to call a halt to a property I was considering buying.

The phone call wanted to know my reasons for withdrawing from the purchase, as it had cost their client money. I had already e-mailed the branch and told them that the search pack ordered by my solicitor's had in my view taken far too long. In addition to this I had personal reasons for withdrawing. One of them being that I was finding it increasingly difficult to go up and down stairs.

I considered it quite rude, that during the phone call I was told that I had pulled out of buying a property before with them a few years ago. That is totally irrelevant.

I explained that in the past I had forked out for a survey on a property, only for the seller to sell it to someone else as it was taking too long. Evidently the seller had found another buyer who could do the transaction quicker. I put this down to my solicitor possibly being too slow. It happens at times and is no one’s fault.

In this particular case I have to pay solicitor's fees. The person at Jeffries said, yes but you are the buyer! Yes, I replied, I have no problem with that, I will have to take the hit. Make of that what you will, but I know how I interpreted what was said to me.

I honestly could not recommend using Jeffries Waterlooville enough. Rio and his team gave 5* service from start to finish on the selling of his property in Purbrook due to going sadly to a nursing home.
If it wasn’t through Rio constantly being on the ball with all relevant parties unlike @Andrew & Andrew solicitors Emsworth! We would have had the chain collapse and lost our sale.

Awful experience especially with Harry at the north end branch, put my property with another estate agents , then threats of we introduced all these fictous people, well won't be recommended Jeffries to my all my family and friends.

What a waste of time, I am a investor wanting to buy a property.. they want to know every single thing before you view...

They would take 95% of your deposit after setting you up with inventory setup in the house and stupid reasons, the house is first set up to take your deposits, there are stupid paintings in every room if you taken them down or switch position with them, they will take your deposits away, there are many broken inventory left in the house, since they are broken they cannot be used and they will charge you because the top of the inventory items are 'dusty', they charge for mattress cleaning after finding a single hair piece on the mattress. The list goes on and on.
