J Ewards arranged everything extremely well and we have absolutely no complaints about anything they have done.
Our only negative is the CO-OP had an advertising sticker in the hearse which was very disappointing to see when they turned up Also who wants to give a review after the loss of a loved one! I’ve done it because I keep getting sent don’t forget to leave your review just to get them to stop.
I agree with everyone else Cara is outstanding and all the other staff were excellent on the day .

Cara was brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble for her. The day ran very smoothly with no problems at all and the rest of the staff on the day were great

The care and compassion provided was personal and very kind. Kept us informed throughout the process of arranging the funeral.

I can’t fault anything about JEwards and Sons . They warm, friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them . Right from the beginning meeting the lovely lady who talk me though the funeral so plesent and friendly . The funeral worked out Pat and all the funeral went so well . I would recommend this firm to anyone my husband could not have a better send off ❤️❤️❤️

Cara the funeral coordinator was very easy to talk to and provided excellent service in arranging my Mum’s funeral service.
The staff on the day were very well presented and the attention to detail was superb.

Caring, attentive, considerate and sympathetic staff during a difficult and emotional time.
Expectations managed carefully and we were kept advised of progress throughout.
Options explained and time taken to discuss and review these.
Made an uncomfortable and unexpected event that much easier to deal with.

I recently lost a distant relative, I live in Essex she lived in Hampshire I had to sort out everything by phone, I was pleased how everything was handled and in a sympathetic way. I was kept up to date with everything by phone mostly which I found being elderly was better for me.

Cara was so lovely and thoughtful with everything that we needed and spoke about nothing was too much trouble at anytime

Cara Jenny and all the staff have Been amazing and made a dreadful time much more bearable. Providing a seemless and professional service but at a very personal level.

We had planned a burial at the Natural Burial Site first, to be followed immediately by a Thanksgiving/Memorial Service at the church. On arrival at the site it was discovered that the funeral directors had given the burial site incorrect measurements and the hole was too small for the coffin - 5 inches too short and 3 inches too narrow!! I consider this to be inexcusable, especially as the burial site had actually queried the measurements as they seemed a bit small! This meant that the family were unable to have a burial and we had to leave the coffin on the surface when we left for the church. The site were very upset, and began digging as soon as we left. They have assured us that my husband had a dignified burial. Our driver had also received incorrect instructions concerning the flower arrangements, but that was fairly insignificant when compared to the burial.

Can't thank Cara enough for her help throughout this tough time. Cara went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience with J Edwards. Being so kind and compassionate at a sad time for my family really made a difference. She is a very kind lady. Thank you to everyone at J Edwards.

Cannot thank Cara and the funeral team on the day enough. They demonstrated kindness, care and compassion throughout the whole process, gifting me and my family our time to grieve, without the added stress of arranging the funeral - Cara took all that away from us and provided us with the perfect send off we'd wanted for our Mum/Wife.

J Edwards attention to detail was remarkable. The presentation of my mother's remains was handled with great care and respect. Although i never expirienced it but my sister did. The embalming and preparation were carried out with the utmost professionalism, ensuring that my mother looked peaceful and as though she were merely asleep.

Throughout the entire process, Cara displayed a level of compassion and empathy that went above and beyond their professional duties. She was always available to answer our questions and address our concerns,

Absolutely impecible service from start to finish.
From the very first phone call, we were dealt with the utmost respect, sympathy & dignity while dealing with our requests.
Due to events outsde of our control, we needed a very fast funeral arranging & within 90 minutes of our first phone call E F Edwards had arranged it all & confirmed they had managed to liase with the church & crematorium to the timescales we so desperately needed.
Nothing is too much trouble & all the staff involved were calming, reassuring & highly professional.
In such emotional & horrible times, they were there to support us & made sure we had nothing to worry about in sorting the funeral.
Five stars isnt enough...outstanding
