Missing general cleanliness would score…
Missing general cleanliness would score 1 tbh if it wasn't cheap.
Machines broken and don't get fixed or have signs on.
Toilet roll on floor in locker rooms ect. Needs a cleaner and to be manned better.... sorry it's not killer way. It's the one near Queens road. Definitely no cleaners. A broken phone screen was in womens section for days. It's grubby.

Very disappointed with showers and…
Very disappointed with showers and changing room very dirty lockers not functioning properly after go through at least 6 lockers to find one that you can actually lock poorly cleaned female staff running in and out off man changing rooms really thinking of cancelling membership

Half of the Machines are out of order
Half of the Machines are out of order. Only 3 benches for bench press in such a big gym when it gets busy you wont get a turn. Other than that everything else is good especially being a 24/7 gym.

I’ve accidentally joined the wrong site…
I’ve accidentally joined the wrong site (north instead of south) and tried several times to contact JD to change this with no luck so I’ve paid 21.99 to join and can’t use it as it’s on the other side of town not only that the south side is only 10.99 to join for the first month very annoyed

Ladies section small
I can’t use the gym in the men’s section for religious reasons, hence why I chose to go to JD North Sheffield, because they have a ladies section. However, I didn’t realise that their ladies section is small - its always busy even the ladies who aren’t religious and wouldn’t mind exercising in front of men also gym in the ladies section. And there are only 2 of each machines - 2 treadmills, 2 spin bikes, 2 stairmasters etc - always busy whenever I go.
A lot of girls stay on the treadmill for up to an hour which is ridiculous because they don’t allow others to have a go.
Unfortunately puregym no longer have a ladies section, otherwise I preferred going there because there were lots of exercising machines.
Need to expand the ladies section

Enjoyed going to the gym. Good atmosphere and plenty of equipment. I personally love the punch bags.

Great Gym
The knowledge of the female staff member, her friendliness and the sheer size of the gym with plenty of equipment and being open 24/7 helps as my day changes daily with commitments.
Love the treadmill and rowing machines.
Also the £10.00 initial introduction means I can test it out see how my routine works out.

My first experience in a gym for long time...
My first experience in a gym for long time and I was impressed very easy to join ,using the app to get into the gym is a great idea .Me and my wife have been together and find it a great way of getting fitter at our age my only fault with the gym is no staff to ask questions about best equipment to use to be optimal in our individual case .other than that every thing is easy to use and plenty of it .I do like the idea of having to use own lock to secure the doors on lockers .

Fantastic gym
Fantastic gym, lovely atmosphere and great kit to use. The PT’s that work at the gym never seem to be around or aren’t visible when I go . I still don’t know where reception is at the gym. The app could be updated so classes can be seen for the day to show how many members are at the gym . Other gyms have done this so come on JD get updating!

Impressive!
went here for the first time today and was really impressed. HUGE space with so many machines, clean and tidy. Equipment was in good condition. Look forward to returning.

Takes a while for QR to work
Signing up and paying ws easy. Using the gym is not. No emails explaining that a) I can't use the qr code for the first few days and b) once it has been a couple of days I will need a gym manager to reset my account so I can use it. Saving grace is friendly gym staff, a good range of equipment and a lovely clean gym. Luckily I haven't tried to use this gym outside of the manned hours (5am-10pm) yet

Good gym with fair pricing, some improvement needed
Good gym with fair pricing. Large with lots of machines.
It would be great to see out of order machines being fixed quicker, for example there is only 1 hip adduction machine and it has been out of order for weeks now :(
Ladies toilets never seem very clean or fresh.
Gym class instructors are always helpful and friendly, great class leaders! I think it would be great for JD to implement les mills routines (really enjoyed these in the past at different gyms).

Lovely gym with a variety of equipment…
Lovely gym with a variety of equipment to use. Please kindly provide a few private cubicles in the female changing room to use after taking a shower. It would be lovely to have some classes as early as 5:30am such as spinning.
