JD Gyms - Rochdale Recenzje 

I think this company is doing well, Gym is very good, their are plenty of diffrent machines but could do better of improving in the back machines, can't get the full strech in the back when training and parking is a pain, probably due to being in the town centre. Overall, the gym is very good. Could do with fresh protien bar etc... loving it.

The equipment and space.

There are no staff on shop floor, sitting in office all the time. No one to supervise conduct and misbehaving. No one to tidy up in case of misbehaving. Music too too loud, spoke to manager with no avail, so I gave up, have to put earphones volume to max in order to listen to my own preferences or speak to someone on phone.

Only started using the gym but I am most impressed with the amount of equipments available to use, also the fact that it runs 24/7

JD gym in Rochdale is amazing! I can’t recommend Salaha enough! She’s not just an incredible personal trainer, but a genuinely kind and uplifting person. My friend was struggling with confidence and felt really out of place at the gym, but from the very first session, Salaha made her feel welcome, supported, and empowered. She created a safe and positive space, tailored the workouts to build both strength and confidence, and celebrated every bit of progress along the way. The transformation in my friend, physically and mentally, has been amazing to witness. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and knows how to bring out the best in you, Salaha is the one!

Absolutely love JD Gyms Rochdale! The facilities are clean, there's a great variety of equipment, and the atmosphere is super motivating. A special shoutout to Salaha, one of the personal trainers – she's incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and really pushes you to be your best. Highly recommend if you're looking for a gym with a positive vibe!

I’ve attended jd Rochdale for 2 years, on Friday the door was open which is unusual. I had my badge ready to scan, I presumed the scanners were broken due to the door being open as I walked in. One of your staff members called YOUSUF very abruptly told me to scan my badge, ill mannered no please or thank you. I have no issues with following the rules but I do have an issue with being spoken to like that when attending a gym I’ve been paying towards for two years. He then pointed & said “go to the office whist she scans you in” again no manners like I’m a primary school infant. I went back out the gym & scanned in. I then politely asked for his name, he replied “why what’s the problem” in an aggressive tone. I advised I wanted to take it up with management how he addressed me as I felt very belittled. He then continued to shout “bye” at me multiple times. I went to the changing rooms & come back to the office to see if the manager was on sight to address this issue, there was no manager & I was advised she would not be in for 5 days, which is ludicrous. I explained I was unhappy with how he treated me upon entering the gym, I was dismissed by both CHARLOTTE & YOUSUF. I wasn’t given any complaints process or apology for this behaviour. YOUSUF then stepped towards me whilst I was explaining how this is unacceptable behaviour whilst he was at work, he stepped towards me very aggressively making me feel intimidated & scared to be in the gym with a grown man, although he is only small I am a woman & this was very threatening. I came to leave the gym after my work out & my badge was disabled so I was locked in the gym. I went to the office knocked & got no answer, there was no staff in eye shot of the whole bottom floor of the gym. So I was locked in after I’d just been intimated by a grown man. Another member of the gym had to let me out using there pass. I have since emailed twice with no response, I rang today multiple times to speak to a manager. I spoke to LAURA, I explained the situation, she did not once apologise or make me feel at ease, she again was very rude & dismissive. She said “well no one has complained about him before in two years he’s been here” which is outrageous. She was no help & my badge is STILL disabled whilst I’m paying for my membership, this needs to be addressed I want my money back & I will no longer be a customer of this terrible service from your vile staff. I know this is all on camera too, I’d like the footage so I can report further. I believe he was instigating an argument/fight as he used an aggressive tone & stepped very close to me whilst doing so. You need to be careful of this in future as I don’t believe he would act this way towards a man but it could escalate if he was to do the same to anyone else! This is clearly not been prevented after my conversation with LAURA. I would like this addressed, I want my money back & i would not advise to attend JD ROCHDALE unless you want to be belittled by there unruly staff who are not managed & allowed to run wild in the gym. Bare in mind I’m a small 22 year old girl who has NEVER experienced such issue in my life.

I love this gym. Especially the classes. The price is really affordable too.

I canceled my direct debit before the monthly subscription as i will not be able to freeze the subscription being traveling for almost 6 months so I find while was in the entrance that my subscription was disabled before the monthly payment was due by 4 days which is really disappointing and now JD got 4 days form my subscription intentionally also didn’t even find any one to support Rochdale GYM

Unfortunately i will leave the country Sunday morning and will never again be a JD GYM member

The classes are really good there are some amazing instructors. The only downside there is no booking system so after Christmas and when there are offers on they are very overcrowded. A number of members have left because of this.

Machines weren't overly complicated to use provided you know how to use them, and for machines (such as the treadmill) which I haven't used before, it was easy to figure out how to use. people are very nice and helpful if you need it, and it has easy signing up process. the staff are also friendly and nice. overall a good experience so far

I think the gym is just great, it’s always clean aswell and comfortable

Great gym, good vibes only thing is it’s pretty much always busy and often find myself struggling to get a machine. Great overall tho

Old kettlebells have no weights on them. Not enough benches downstairs , some women don't feel comfortable going upstairs with all the men

I fully believe the black mould all over the ceiling upstairs paired with the AC pushing it around is actually dangerous to breathe in, the only fresh air is some manky pipes that are fitted into the ceiling that lead to the roof

As a new member to the gym I'd like to say the layout is great and clean, the only down side for me some of the cable machines could do we some maintenance or replacing and new bars and ropes are needed for all of these machines.

I have been going to JD gym for many years and never had an issue with any member of staff however during staff turnover where new ones have joined, I’ve found one in particular to be unpleasant. She seems to give dirty looks for no reason, and in a place where you’re supposed to feel comfortable, I’ve found myself feeling quite the opposite. I don’t know if it’s just towards me, or if she does it to other females who go but it is highly unprofessional and has actually stopped me going to the gym as much as I used to and I’ve considered moving to a different gym. I don’t write reviews but it has been on my mind for a while as it’s been happening a lot. The date isn’t specific as it has happened over a period of time.

This isn’t a fake complaint, I have used a fake name and email as I’d rather it not get any worse.
