Despite the equipment being older than…
Despite the equipment being older than other JD gyms there is a wide variety to use. There is an issue with accessing the QR code to get in since the service is quite bad but as long as you know your pin it won't be an issue.

Not the best 5/5
Not very welcoming. Has a you shouldn’t be here vibe. Not very aesthetically pleasing to the eye either. Women’s changing room ALWAYS smells of doodoo. PT I met wouldn’t make eye contact with me either.

Overrun with miserable gym goers
Like everyone says, it’s constantly busy and there is a distinct lack of (some) machines so you end up standing around waiting for everyone to have their go before you can finish your own workout. Not to mention most gym goers here tend to be miserable t**ts, which I didn’t realise was a requirement to sign up. The WiFi is virtually non-existent. Staff don't seem the most friendly, with the exception of my PT, who is the only reason I even go to this gym. Yeah, not a good vibe overall. It's clean, though.

The gym is way too busy
The gym is way too busy, not a chance to get on a machine unless you wait 5-10 mins for some Asian guy who doesn't have a clue what he's upto to finish his set

The internet connection is very bad
The internet connection is very bad, almost no connection!
Second, need more cleaning in the sauna area, and more bins around, also the lack of air because of the number of people need to be solved as well.

New member experience. I have now made two visits to the gym
I have now made two visits to the gym, and on both occasions I have found the gym to be very busy, the equipment to be inaccessible due to over-use and the whole atmosphere to be somewhere between unfriendly and intimidating. I am proposing to cancel my membership during the cancellation period.

I was stood outside shaking for a good ten minutes until I pulled the courage to go in, the gym’s staff and people are very friendly and welcoming, for someone like myself who has ups and downs with high anxiety and depression this gym really has been a life line to help me.
