The gym is fine, what I would expect for the money. It's always clean and plenty of equipment.

Some of the equipment is quite tired, metal is rusty for example. Some of it could do with updating.

The music they play at 7am is a bit much sometimes. I understand it's a gym but at 7am I don't need to be hearing club/rave music - they could perhaps have an early morning and after 10am playlist for example.

People often leave weights around the gym, which isn't the gym's fault but they could have staff putting it back more regularly and more signs telling people to put it back/ penalties if people are caught not putting weights away. Sometimes they're in the middle of the floor which could cause an accident. Seems more of a problem here than at other gyms I've been to.

Really good for fitness and cardio. Little lack of weights but a good atmosphere. Can get really busy but overall a good clean gym.

I have been a member before, so it was pretty much the same. Nice and relaxing plenty of different stuff to go on

I was so nervous to join and then even attend but I pushed myself and I am so glad I did! Honestly the staff here are incredible and honestly make you feel like part of the community. The classes are great, the instructors are great and the equipment is all in excellent condition and there is always someone around if you need help, in hours. Even the majority of the other customers I have encountered are so kind!

No security on bike gate, many people have asked for better security with bikes constantly getting robbed, jd won't do anything about it, just put a sign up saying at your own risk, the gym is getting alot of money in, gym is always over crowded, but won't look after the security for there customers.

It’s unacceptable that the lady’s and gentle’s room/toilet are locked after 10pm if the gym is 24/7 hours. Honestly for this price per month it’s ridiculous. I’m very disappointed and no doubt this can make me cancel my subscription

Great range of machine and free weight equipment to use. Always use the sauna on every visit (massive part of my recovery routine and overall mental health)

I've been at this gym a few years now and it's really busy, the staff are great and the facility has got a lot of potential unfortunately the machines are dated you are constantly looking for handles pins and accessories for various machines. I would have thought that for such a high member number JD would invest in the facility at the very least with the accessories, there are lots of free weights benches etc but considering the industry has moved forward in the last 20 years the machines are lacking in this area I sometimes struggle to understand that a major sporting brand of this magnitude with such a large member bass cannot meet the needs for its members with regards to even the little items yet alone updating old and tired machines, maybe investing a little more and taking a little less dividend could be the answer who knows and to be honest who cares 🫣

I like the look and feel of the gyms. Seems clean. On trend. I dislike the lack of leg exercise machines, especially for a gym so big and so busy. Also seemed to be a lack of grips for the exercise machines, I mentioned this to staff and they said more have been ordered.

I left this gym after suggesting they raise the rent and improve the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The price has gone up, but unfortunately, the beards in the locker room stayed the same. Sad.

I go because it’s convenient to my house however they could do with updating the equipment such as more up to date hip thrust machines, kick back machines etc….. the place feels a little dated

I've been a member of JD gym Liverpool South for a few years now and can honestly say that there's been a massive improvement since Rochelle has managed the club.

There are lots more varieties of Gym classes that I can attend to with a busy working schedule.

I also really enjoy Kellies classes and 1-2-1 sessions as she motivates you to push yourself further and offers fantastic support.

Well ran with equipment and spaces clean and in good condition! Great range of classes to choose from and I've been with Kelly for my PT sessions the past few months and she has been a breathe of fresh air! So knowledgeable and always on hand to help, seeing some great results already!

Clean gym with all the equipment needed. At the time I go there’s always enough equipment to use. The sauna is a massive plus too, and great after a hard sweaty workout.

Been a member of quite a few gyms over the years and I have been very impressed with everything so far at JD Gyms.

Gym equipment is old, tried cancelling but they still taken the money out my account

Great apparatus but where is the cafe, machines areno good if you want to sit down for a rest

I like the gym itself but it seems to be busy no matter what time you go, with people sitting on machines playing on their phones. This slows down your workout. Plus I feel 30 pound a month is a bit steep. Maybe offer peak and off peak memberships too. Local gyms offer gym and swim memberships for 17 pound a month. The only reason I don't use them is because of timing issues.

Needs better wifi and more Pilates classes with Amy she is fab
