Not great at all
Unfortunately I have been to a lot of gyms in my time but the atmosphere in Bolton jd was awful, the gym itself could be great but it doesn’t enforce personal hygiene on its members and moving from machine to machine all you can smell is over due body odours, not a friendly face insight and there is atleast 5men per machine. Not a good session at all

Utter garbage
Utter garbage. Equipment is tatty, falling to bits or just generally doesn't work. Not enough decent weight plates and then there's about 5 cable attachments to cover half a dozen or so cable machines. As a personal trainer, this is probably one of the worst gyms I've ever had the misfortunes of training in.

Thanks for leaving us some feedback Danny. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. The JD Gyms Team 💚

Easy to use
Simple to join, plenty of machines so no waiting around. Only negative entry and exit with scanner takes an age sometimes.

Feels Like Home
I’ve joined and left JD a couple of times and tried other things. I don’t think I’ll be leaving again. It has all the facilities I need at a great price. It feels like I’m home again!

Bolton JD gym, someone took a number 2 outside of the changing rooms on the floor… Asked the staff what was going on. There reply was it isn’t the first time.
