I recently use this website to purchase japan PSN gift card, at first I was hesitating is it safe or not? But after read some review, it looks legit, so I bought it, and didnt regret it at all. The price are competitive and the delivery was impressively fast!

Very dishonest company and possibly fraudulent. They tried to have this review removed multiple times but too bad I have kept all the evidence. Japancodesupply had a previous rating of 1.8 and my guess is they are actively disputing older reviews to raise their trust score (since reviewers are unlikely to even remember their older reviews). I updated this review so every can have a fair perspective:

Japancodesupply advertises “instant verification” on their website using your mobile phone, but failed to mention international buyers OFTEN have to go through additional screening that’s not asked by any other sites such as Apartment 507, CDJapan and Play Asia. Upon purchasing a $100 GC, they asked me to provide a detailed explanation of how I plan to use it. If I order a large amount, I could understand their concerns. For $100, it was an awkward request, but I responded anyway that I frequently play JRPGs and since I don’t have a Japanese address, I cannot associate a credit card via PSN. Then they came back asking for my Passport and Driver license information. With no end in sight, I decided to cancel the order. I’m just buying a PSN card and no other sites demand those info. Even if they are legit, I fear identity theft (private information can be leaked even if it’s not intentional).

My question is why Japancodesupply sells overseas if they think are not comfortable doing so? They might as well ask me for my SSN and birth certificate. Japancodesupply could simply build their site in Japanese and mention no international orders should they feel uncomfortable selling such a small amount.

I never used vpn and verified my ID for purchase, but they just take money and not giving code cuz of I did use vpn and scam with paypal account.

I'd been using JapanCodeSupply for a while to buy iTunes cards for a Japanese games. It was going okay one day until they sent me a code that had been previously used. Obviously upset by this, I went to their customer support on Twitter and asked for a new code. After doing a bunch of steps to confirm that I wasn't scamming them, they sent me a new, unused code. I figured it was a fluke and moved on.

A few weeks later, I bought another card (this time for a much larger amount) and once again recieved a used code. I was once again pretty upset but decided to go to customer support. They had me go through all the steps again to prove I wasn't scamming them... and then sent me a canned response about how their code system "had a 100% success rate" and how they would not be giving me a new code. No matter how many times I argued, I kept getting generic, canned responses from their support team.

I opened up a case on PayPal and what pissed me off is that JapanCodeSupply was silent for weeks after I opened the case until I escalated it. Then they just provided a tracking number (what? it's a digital order, there would be no tracking number), presumably in the hopes that the PayPal overseer would be overworked, see a tracking number, and decide in their favor. Which worked, because the case did go in their favor and I never got my money back.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

psnカードを購入後、支払いも終了している状態で、追加の認証が必要と、購入商品が人質状態でコードが送られてきません。
追加の認証で、psnで購入するタイトルを知らせろだとか、twitterやfbにダイレクトメールを送れだとか、怪しげなリクエストを要求されました。特にセキュリティ問題ないので、dmを送り、待っている状態です。
追加のidや免許証を送れとも書かれていますが、ネットショップにそんなもの送る人いるのでしょうか。
支払い段階での追加のセキュリティリクエストだったらまだしも、支払いが終了している状態で、銀行口座からもデビット引き落としが済んでいる状態で、追加の認証とかおかしくないですか。それに、これって購入者と支払いのゲートウェイ間の問題で、店側がそれ以上の個人情報を要求してくるのが意味不明。

I paid 60$+ for an itunes card and they asked for verification from my phone and then asked for my Drivers License and I stupidly gave them my Learners Drivers License but i've messaged paypal and im going to closely monitor more different things

Took me 2 days to refund my order (thanks for doing it at least) since they ask for a lot confirmation due to my country not being available to receive SMS for a faster verification. Instead they asked for passport/drive license/anything that has your address and name on the same page, I had none of these. For a $2 difference (for 5000 YEN iTunes card) with other services it's not worth it.

Very shady business! I put in an order for an Japan iTunes card using PayPal. They need me to verify with many steps and even wanted me to provide them my ID and/or bank statement!!! What? Do not deal with them! I will be closely monitoring my PayPal account and personal data and will report to the authority when need be. This cannot be any legitimate business!
