I needed an Avet and they were the only place that had the model and color I wanted. Ironically, they also had the most competitive prices! I am always hesitant about buying from smaller scale retailers I'm not personally familiar with, but my interactions with Josh and Emma were great and they even accommodated my weird line spooling request! Shipping was fast and I love my new reel. Im getting it into action tomorrow morning! I really wish I could get up to see the shop in person, I bet it's incredible. i ordered two fillet knives on 19th April,
my card was charged 132 dollars including shipping.
no shipping notification email has arrived.
emailed josh on 1st May and email was ignored
10th May still heard nothing, hope to get a card refund
after 30 days.

An order I placed with J and H was back ordered and was somehow overlooked. So I contacted them about it and instead of making an excuse, they admitted the error, accepted responsibility, apologized and stated they would ship my order that day and I received confirmation of it as well.

I don’t have respect for people who make up lame excuses. You don’t have to worry about that with the folks at J and H. They are 100% dependable and honest. As a matter of fact I admire them so much I placed another order that day!

J&H always has great customer support and sell only the best products. I have not been disappointed with any of my purchases over the years. Josh provides honest reviews and responds immediately to any questions about the products. They also ship fast!

Ordered a rod and reel 4/12 still haven't heard anything about it and haven't received a tracking number. Reached out the josh on instagram, he was very short in responses only to say "should ship tomorrow" and that was 2 days ago with nothing still. Happened to notice this is a pretty common thing judging by all the 1 star reviews saying the same thing.

Good inventory. But shipping is disappointing. Paid for priority shipping but USPS shipping is 4 days ... Ordered April 16, scheduled delivery April 19. Will have to go without the lures on the charter.
