The slow roasted beans were nice for espresso, probably because of the medium roast.
For pour over, a light roast version would be better.

First time ordering Blue Mountain Coffee from JCTC. I placed an order over the Christmas, completely understood that it might not be dispatched until after new year.

However, my order took longer than expected to arrive so I contacted them asking about the shipping status. Edward promptly responded to me and re sent the coffee straight away and I received it within two days.

Anyway, all this happened because of the delay by the courier. I finally ended up receiving both the original order and the replacement. So I contacted him again asking if he'd like me to send it back. He insisted that I keep them, which he didn't necessarily have to. I feel that's very kind of him and he really went extra miles!!! I'd have liked him to not make loss on sale especially when it's not his fault but the courier's.

The coffee tastes great, just how I love my coffee: aromatic, clean, sweet. They also attached the certificates to prove the authenticity. I'm happy and impressed with the whole experience and would like to thank Edward again for his support, great job!! Definitely will order again :)

Excellent service

Had my initial order arrived as promised, I would have given a star rating of 5. However, as it did not arrive at all, I cannot give such a rating. When I explained about the non-arrival, though, customer service was excellent and a replacement was sent out promptly, which did arrive as promised. I suspect the problem of non-arrival lay more with the postal service than with Jamaica Coffee Trading Co, so perhaps a review of the method of postage is needed?

Shopped with them in December 2021 for the first time and they keep asking for a review so I thought I’d oblige ‘em. I mean some reviews are helpful aren’t they if you’ve got to decide where to spend your hard earned money. So here goes.

I’d always wanted to try Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee and I had the cash to get it, so I thought ‘why not’ and I did. Searched the web to for where I could buy it. Visited 2 well known online market places but quickly realised I wasn’t getting any info from sellers if the coffee I’d be buying from them was genuine, bonafide Blue Mountain Jamaican coffee. Was gonna give up then clicked on these guys. Got all the info I needed from their website and from the time I clicked to confirm what I’d bought right through to delivery (which was standard delivery), I got excellent service. Bought 2 small pouches of espresso and gifted 1 to a close friend. We both love it. Yeah, and it was great to know we’re drinking the real thing too. When I can afford it I’ll shop with these guys again. Great doing business with them.

Your coffee made a wonderful present and the aroma, having quickly negated the mystery wrapping and sealed box, just had to be sampled immediately by the delighted recipient ....AND, of course, ME!
