Superb Service

I ordered the Chatsworth Patio Furniture Set on line. It was deliver shortly after. A most beautiful set I have to say. I did have a problem with one of the sofas but I have to say the aftersales services was superb in getting the issue resolved. This included coming to my house to check out the issue. Great service from Jacksons. Thank you.

Incorrect item sent to me

Incorrect item sent to me. I contacted the company and asked for a prepaid postage to return it but they offered me 30% off which I did not want. I requested again a prepaid postage and the company are not replying to any of my further emails order number 252281
Please deal with this problem.

Mixed experience

Ordered a t shirt in the sale which was shipped immediately, only for Royal Mail to lose it enroute. So it wasn’t Jackson of Saintfield’s fault I didn’t receive it. But It was certainly a battle to make contact with the online sales team - I received an ‘automated’ email response giving me an incorrect number to contact Royal Mail myself (which I did, only to be told that indeed it is lost, so I need to contact the seller); I emailed again - no response; I phoned the store itself and a very polite salesman told me he would relay my info & my request for a refund to the online team (who work out of a separate building with no phone line!), again no response; then I wrote a sterner email having read all the negative reviews on here, and received a prompt and very apologetic response with the explanation that they were running behind on emails due to family illness within their small family business. And all credit to them the refund was processed the next day. So it’s been a mixed experience - once I got a response then the service was very good! But the lack of communication felt very frustrating.

Disappointing

I recently purchased two pairs of trousers in the sale. I have been a regular customer of Jackson’s for years! I previously purchased furniture home furnishings and of course clothes and have always found the company and service great. The trousers were a dreadful fit and once I tried them on at home I realized they did not suit me at all! I tried to return them the next day with the receipt provided and as I was a regular customer was happy to be issued with a credit for the store. This was refused! Very disappointing as this poor customer service means I won’t be returning to Jackson’s in the future.

Bad communication

ordered christmas tree mugs online, received the order and they had sent wrong ones. to return them they ask to email them first, which i did. after a few days i had no reply so i sent another email. Again, no reply. Left a message on facebook and next day received reply to take pictures. waiting another few days and no reply. i just want to send these back and either get the item i ordered or a full refund.

AWFUL COMPANY!!

AWFUL COMPANY!!, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! I ordered a bottle of echinacea from Jackson’s with an online offer of free delivery.
I had confirmation that the order was complete then days later, an invoice for the shipping fee. I have written numerous emails to question this and they never respond and neither have I received the echinacea 😡

Items I purchased were not packaged…

Items I purchased were not packaged properly so one of my bowls was broken in my denby set. The packaging used was broken up pieces of polystyrene so upon opening my parcel my house was covered in all the mess caused by it.
I contacted the company twice by email and no one has replied to me about my broken bowl. I wouldn’t order anything from them again.

If you are considering making an online…

If you are considering making an online purchase then don't! This company is not set up to manage a web commerce offering.

I ordered 2 frying pans. when the order arrived the packaging was really poor (as mentioned in another review) but more importantly the wrong sized pan had been delivered.

Despite 3 emails and 2 calls to the company I am still no closer to resolving this issue. NO one responds to emails, even when using the required email address, and despite having order details passed on to the store manager, after calling twice, no one has contacted me.

I am not sure if it is incompetence or simply because they dont care.

So order online at your own risk because if you want to return an item or have an issue no one will answer your calls for support

You have to fight very hard to get replies to emails and refunds

Jan 2024 - ordered 2x Tefal frying pans, arrived no problem. Happy days.
Apr 2025 - handle snapped off one of them. Ordered a new (same item) replacement, they sent wrong pan, a cheap inferior product which arrived in a box so flimsy it may as well have been wrapped in newspaper. Rang them to get help, was told I had to email and was given incorrect email address. Emailed 4 times and a week later got a reply, telling me my emails had gone into their Junk. Given correct email address. 2 days later get a reply from someone with no name saying they had to "go to the Post Office" to get Returns Label. What joke. Trip to the PO to return it and 4 days later get a partial refund, only for the pan value, but not the postage cost I spent getting the pan delivered to me. I am seething now. More emails to unknown persons over 2 days and eventually get my postage back. I don't think they are "bad" people, just absolute dummies in every sense.

Disappointing first experience

So sad to have to write a negative first review but I placed my order over two weeks ago and still haven’t received my item. Communication doesn’t seem to be their forte. I’m still waiting a week later to receive a response to my email.
