He has completely botched me and now I’m blocked I’m 9 months post op and feel horrible about my self

i found this clinic on internet. i had deep plane face and neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery with Dr.Ayberk Akçay. Surgery and post-op care was very comfortable . Team has taken cared of me very well. i am 6 months postop now and my eyelids and my face looks much more younger. very satisfied of the results. i can only complain about the transportation services from airport to hotel. drivers were bad. i think this clinic should change the drivers of transfer services. rather than that medical journey was very good. thank you dr ayberk

After I sent my photos, Amira (the coordinator) arranged a video consultation with Dr. Ayberk. During the call, he told me I was a good candidate for upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelids and under-eye bags) as well as buccal fat removal (cheek fat). Based on that, I scheduled my procedure for October 2025.
On the day of the procedure, I arrived at the hospital, which felt quite ordinary. At reception, there was some confusion, and they didn’t seem to recognize Dr. Ayberk’s name. After about 30 minutes of waiting, his assistant came to help me. She was very kind and took me to his office for an in-person consultation. Dr. Ayberk was polite and professional. He took photos, explained the procedure, and answered my questions.
After that, we went back to the hospital and waited again until my room was ready. I had to complete a lot of paperwork; thankfully, it was in English. Overall, communication was a challenge, as most of the hospital staff did not speak English. Dr. Ayberk and his assistant were the only people I could communicate with comfortably, and she was very helpful throughout the process.
The nurses completed bloodwork and prepared me for surgery. In the operating room, there were several nurses present, all speaking their language. My main concern was the lack of communication right before surgery; a mask was placed over my face without any explanation of what was happening, and that was the last thing I remember before the procedure.
While we were told the surgery would take an hour, I wasn’t back in my room for four hours. This caused my husband a lot of stress, especially since he couldn't communicate with the staff to get updates.
I stayed one night in the hospital, and my husband was allowed to stay with me; there was a sofa bed in the room, which was appreciated. The next day, Dr. Ayberk visited and told me that there wasn’t enough fat in my cheeks to proceed with the buccal fat removal but that the blepharoplasty had gone well. I was discharged and asked to return the following day for a follow-up on my bandages.
As for the results, the buccal fat removal was not performed, which was disappointing since I had been told I was a candidate beforehand. Regarding the blepharoplasty, I would say I am about 50% satisfied. I still have some visible under-eye bags and loose skin on my eyelids.
From what I’ve seen, Dr. Ayberk appears to have strong results in rhinoplasty & breast augmentation based on my research. However, my personal experience with these procedures was mixed.

I selected IEC for minor liposuction. The staff was supportive, the procedure was smooth, and recovery was quick. The results are pleasing and even better than I expected

Horrible skinny BBL results

I got in contact with a third-party through Instagram. I saw her photos of a bunch of pretty girls with BBLS and she had many followers.
Just because I didn’t want to deal with the language barrier,,, i dealt with her (BeautybyEda) on ig instead of dr ayberk directly

First red flag: when we were talking about what parts of my body the surgeon can fix (tummy fat, love handles) and also remove the dimples/cellulite of my butt she said yes the surgeon can do that.
(I met dr ayberk the day of my surgery only…. Never ever got to talk to him before surgery it was all through third party)

When I met him, I asked the same questions I did to Eda. He told me no we can’t get rid of butt dimples but yes to doing natural belly fat removal…

RED FLAG 2: when I went into the operating room, the surgeon was not even wearing sterile operating clothes. Another dude was. I honestly don’t even think Dr. Ayberk did the surgery at all…. I think he got an apprentice to do it and he watched

Coming out of surgery now —-my belly fat was still there he took BARELY ANYTHING OUT. He made me fake abs and took out fat from in between my thighs!!!! I don’t ask for that!! and made me look like a fkn twig!!! And the fake abs are not even the same size or symmetrical!!!!!! my body is ruined. It looks so disproportionate it’s depressing now I have to go somewhere else to get it fixed.

After my surgery was all done. Nobody ever contacted me to see if I was okay and healthy. I contacted Eda ONCE FOR PAIN MEDS AFTER THAT MONTHS AND MONTHS go by BUT STILL NO CONTACT… NO PEEP…. They only care about money!

AVOID THIS SURGEON HORRIBLE RESULTS

I am over 3 weeks postop, mummy makeover including breast lift and implants, tummy tuck, BBL including lypo on my legs.
My surgeon is Dr Ayberk Akcay… based in Istanbul, Turkey. I live in New Zealand. He did a fantastic job overall. Lovely person, careful, and has a great team around him. I felt confident that he would put my health above my wish list. I also found him reasonably priced as I researched quite a few clinics. Before and after care has been good, I am healing well with no problems… and I love the way I look already.
Like all medical matters, it’s important to do your research, have face-to-face calls and ask questions to feel confident with your surgeon and fully inform yourself on procedures.
Follow the doctors instructions to aid your healing. I would absolutely go back to him again.

Mon expérience a été un veritable cauchemar, malgré un corps initialement fin et harmonieux le chirurgien a aspiré des zones essentielles créant une rupture totale de mes courbes naturelles je me retrouve avec un fessier plat asymétrique déformé des irrégularité au dos au ventre des fibroses douloureuses et des taches permanentes du a une aspiration agressive. le chirurgien ne propose aucune solution a part me dire de reprendre du poids er refaire en sachant qu'il a deformer mon corps et un post bbl c'est long couteux avec les massages le but est d'harmoniser pas de casser une belle base, pour se retrouver dans cette situation vu qu'il applique un protocole standard sans meme s'adapter a la morphologie,
aucune éthique et respect du patient, n'allez surtout pas vous faire opérer par le d.AYBERK AKCAY . on se retrouve avec un corps et visage déformé de façon irréversible.

Please do not make the mistake of doing any surgery with dr Ayberk akcay. He is an inexperienced student surgeon. I have crooked eyes because of him. He is a failure and his surgery is a failure. U should feel ashamed to call yourself a doctor because a doctor does his measurements properly before surgery that’s the most important and logical part before any surgery. If u don’t even know that much then I wonder how u passed ur exams at university.

Stay away from him. He doesn’t know himself what he’s doing at the surgery room. Only a mental doc can make ur even eyes into 2 different shapes/ asymmetrical.

My partner went for a BBL,lipo and was advised to get a tummy tuck. BBL hasn’t worked and was told she didn’t have enough fat. The tummy tuck didn’t go well either and was told her skin wouldn’t stretch enough, leaving a bigger scar than expected, her back is still sore and bruised after 3 months. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Breast reduction, Liposuction and Tummy tuck with dr Ayberk
My surgery was just a few weeks ago but I'm already seeing so much difference and absolutely loving the results!!! I couldn't thank Flymedi enough for the service and care they've provided.
