Mama Isa's Cooking School Venice Italy Recenzje 

My grandson and I took 5 days of cooking classes with Mama Isa and it was wonderful. We made many different dishes and in the process learned about ingredients, technique, and food history. Isa and her husband Stefano were so welcoming, kind, and gracious.

I spent a week in Padua, 5 days of which were with Mama Isa, but I wish it could have been more! She is a super sweet person, and stefano is amazing aswell (even if he doesn’t speak the most English). Please if your going to go to a cooking school, make it Mama Isa’s.

My wife and I just completed a 3 day pasta-making course with Mama Isa and her husband Stefano in Padova. In short, I highly recommend this as an unforgettable, immersive Italian food experience.
Mama Isa is a gifted chef and teacher with a warm and welcoming personality. Not only did we learn new technical and culinary skills, but we learned some history of many of the foods and ingredients for the dishes we made. And of course, the delicious meals are incredible!
In her classes you experience a chef’s artistry that you cannot easily find in most cooking classes.

Isa and Stefano are so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Every detail is taken care of. Everything was so organized and clean. We did the gluten free class (focaccia, pizza, and pasta). Everything was delicious!!

My husband and I had our honeymoon and made a stop in Venice. I immediately knew that I wanted to take a pasta making class while I was there so after researching, I came across Mama Isa's classes and I must say, she has exceeded our expectations! We both are deaf so I wasn't sure what to expect. Safe to say, Mama Isa and her husband/sous chef were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that we didn't miss anything. On top of that, they spoiled us with delicious and fresh ingredients straight from the source and we absolutely loved our meal we created together. I know that every time I will make a trip to Venice, I absolutely will be taking her classes over and over again.

Chef Isa is a brilliant teacher and chef. Everything so clearly demonstrated and explained. The end results were delicious (so yummy) and I'll definitely be cooking them myself. She also gave us lots of useful recipes and tips about cooking equipment and pasta equipment. All in all she makes a cookery course a hugely enjoyable learning experience.

WOW! I can't explain how amazing of a person she is and how amazing the food was. I feel like I left with a new friend.

Awesome family experience! Our girls loved learning how to make tagliatelle, ragu and tiramisu! Memories they’ll cherish! Mama Isa was so knowledgeable and made this one of our best days in Italy!

This may seem out of place but l wanted to share this. Just this week l contacted Mama Isa's regarding a class for my granddaughter and l in May. Quick response on Whats App and back and forth with info and pricing. Very patient with my indecisiveness. Our date worked, everything seemed to be a "go". Then l spoke with my granddaughter and plans had changed l immediately contacted Isa's fully expecting a little flack or a snarky comment about canceling. Imagine my surprise and gratitude at the lovely response of "No problem. Enjoy your day." This type of customer care speaks volumes as to the professional and kind reaction of this business. If you are looking for a cooking school that not only has high ratings for the class but also cares about people, even when the client is canceling a class, this is the perfect fit for you.

Isa’s 3-day class is absolutely perfect. I attended with a friend and we had so much fun while learning new techniques a and recipes. Isa and Stefano are so welcoming and patient. Isa worked with us on the menu options and we just can’t say enough about how wonderful this class is. Take a class! You will be thrilled. I already want to go back!

This was one of our favorite things we did while in Italy. Chef Isa and Stefano were beyond hospitable. This isn’t an ordinary cooking class. You can tell by the way Chef Isa talks how passionate she is about cooking and teaching. My husband doesn’t cook at home, but now he’s wanting to help me in the kitchen because of this experience. We made three different types of focaccia pizzas and two different gelatos. We are hosting a party for our friends in a couple weeks where we will attempt to recreate what we made that day. Not only do you get the lesson in a perfect kitchen space while listening to beautiful Italian music, but the table was set for two with some lovely wine and a cheese and meat plate as an appetizer. Again, Chef Isa went above and beyond, teaching us about all the different cheeses and meats. She even tells you where you can find certain ingredients in the USA. It was a top-notch experience, a phenomenal meal, and a highlight of our trip. Very highly recommend. We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other classes offered. Myself and my partner enjoyed a 4hr cookery class here in March '23. Mama Isa went to extrodinary lengths to ensure our dietry requirements were met - with it being Gluten free and vegetarian. and these standards were kept up throughout.

We were contacted throughout to set up our expereience to be exactly how we wanted - being able to chose starter, sauce, and gelato falvour as we wished (would highly recommend pistachio!) and Mama Isa was very very helpful when we were held up with transport in making us feel welcomed and not rushed at all.

It was the best gluten free pasta I have EVER tried and the GF focciacia was amazing too. there has clearly been a lot of effort put into research to create a wonderful end product. We learnt a lot and loved it a lot. We even came home and purchased a gelato machine to carry on our love for the experience in the UK.

Both Mama Isa and Stefano treated us with 5*** service, welcomed us like we were family and couldnt have done more to host us. Would 5/5 recommend and wouldnt hesitate to get in touch if you are not sure what you wish to book, I am sure between you, you could find the perfect class :)! Bellisimo!

We had a fantastic experience with Mama Isa and Stefano - so much fun and we learned a lot about the history of food, regional / cultural differences, new cheese and wine, and of course, how to make the best ravioli and gelato! We really appreciated how accessible the class was so that we could see ourselves making these recipes at home. Mama Isa was very flexible and accommodating with our schedule (booking the night before) and dietary needs (vegetarian), which we really appreciated. They were incredible hosts and we felt like we were part of their family for the day. We would 100% recommend Mama Isa's class and would definitely take more classes with Mama Isa if/when we visit again in the future!

My boyfriend and I had the best time at Mama Isa’s. We cooked a fresh pasta meal with an amazing sauce— a great idea for couples or friends with different levels of cooking experience to learn more about Italian food and taste it while learning! Isa and her family are wonderful. Definitely one of our favorite memories from Venice.

We had the great pleasure to meet Chef Isa, her husband, Stefano, and son, Marko, at their home. They were all so welcoming and we felt like family after a few minutes. The cooking experience was amazing. Learning how to make Aperol Spritz, homemade Bigoli pasta from the Veneto region, mama Isa’s Tomato and Luganega Sausage Venetian Sauce and, homemade Gelato Stracciatella!

With Chef Isa’s guidance, we now feel comfortable to make all of the dishes above. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn true Italian cooking in a Chef’s home! A magical experience.

We spent a morning learning from Chef Isa how to make spinach and ricotta ravioli. It was a fantastic experience that we will always cherish. Chef Isa is very generous in sharing not only how to make the pasta, but all the history and culture around it that makes the experience so rich. We were also grateful to try some lovely Venetian wine and some homemade limoncello while there. The food, the wine, and the conversation were so lovely. We would recommend this experience to anyone who wants a full immersion, authentic learning experience. It is well worth the short trip from the lagoon by train- I cannot recommend it enough! Wow, Mama Isa's cooking class was one of my favorite things I've ever done while traveling! Chef Isa makes you feel right at home and is such an awesome teacher. I am vegan and she created a wonderful meal with us that we are excited to remake at home. Highly, highly, highly recommend taking a class with Chef Isa! This is as authentic of a cooking class as you could get.

Working with Chef Isa was the absolute highlight of my family’s time in Italy. Not only is Isa an incredible chef with storied food knowledge but she provided the most comfortable environment to cook in with her and Stefano going above and beyond the entire class. The recipes we learned were phenomenal but what really stood out was Isa’s kindness and understanding. My father cannot eat solid food due to a medical condition and Isa took it upon herself to make him a fresh smoothie from her own personal kitchen- it truly showed that Isa was welcoming us into her home, not just providing a service in teaching us to cook a few Italian dishes. If you get the chance to take a cooking class from Mama Isa you will not be disappointed! 5 stars and an unforgettable experience!
