Awful. Please do not sign up to this. I got scammed. Here I am thinking I was only gonna pay 0.49 but then they sneakily take 40 quid. Disgusting!

This is a scam, I been robbed.

it didnt take long (21 questions) and it was terribly difficult. would definitely take other test to compare. got my results for only .49

I would give it zero stars if possible but that wasn’t an option. This is the epitome of a complete SCAMMING website. You do a quick IQ test, as you can with many other sites, they all say ‘free’ but I think most will be aware that upon requesting their results a small fee will likely be requested. So, a huge message pops up on your iPhone saying you can receive these said results for 49pence. You think that seems reasonable, so click ok. The results show and as always I’m disappointed and realise I’m far less intelligent than I’d hoped and the number in front of me resembles more what a professional golfer would score over 18 holes than Luke Littler would with 3 darts in his hand. Upon this, gmail pings a few times with the usual customary ‘welcome to our family’ emails telling you they are so happy you’re on board. Well, it’s not 1992 anymore where receiving an email would be exciting, these days I get about 70 a day, most from companies I’ve not heard of, let alone used. Included in one of those messages is the information informing you that your account will get rinsed very soon unless you act sharpish, I’m beginning to think if this is indeed, the true IQ test! So a couple of days pass, money comes out, and I’m like ‘who the fudge are IQ Academy?!’ Shaking with anger by this time, I’m frantically attempting to contact HSBC, to then be in communication with a ‘chat bot’, who is probably in on the whole thing in my opinion, the AI tend to stick together, watch Terminator of you don’t believe me. I finally chat to a human via message, very friendly and helpful but obviously my £39.99 will have to be disputed. It’s Friday afternoon and don’t get paid until Monday so my hopes of having a bbq in the garden with a bottle of rum are dashed as this is pretty much all the money I had left. This makes me feel sad and angry and a bit thick to be honest, which I’d already felt after paying the initial 49 pence for my results. So yes, this is my review, it’s a sneaky yet rather clever scam, I really wish it was the ‘old days’ again where a chap would call saying if I transferred £300 to an account I was set to receive £4.3 million in bonds, at least you had a pleasant chat for your inconvenience.

I deeply regret having paid to receive IQ results that I never got. Customer service doesn't respond, and the worst part is that when I try to cancel my subscription on their website, it tells me I can't cancel it and that I need to contact customer service to do so. However, it's now been two days that I've been trying to contact them by email, and no one is responding. It's outrageous!

WATCH OUT it is a scam. They put a timer in the screen for you to quickly get your 0.99$ results and not giving you enough time to fully read that you’ll be charged $60 for a subscription. Most people will miss that. It’s a merchant website that preys on people that overlook this to cash in to those who don’t notice and no matter what you do even through the bank you’ll lose your money. It’s not an official way to get your IQ done and it’s more for entertainment. You can only do IQ tests in in person facilities.

scam, advertises it as free then makes you pay 0.99cents to receive your results after already doing the test, then says after 48 hours (in fine print) it will charged you $60AUD
don't bother with this company, have disputed with the bank as customer support emailed me saying my email address doesn't even have an account... so unsure why im charged then..

They hide their subscription charge and when they refused to reimburse me I took them to the small claims court and then they paid me back. I urge you to take similar action, get your money back and hopefully shut this company down.
Below is the essence of my submission to the small claims court which costs £35 online and does not take long to complete.
1.IQ Academy have not made it clear on home page that after you pay 49pence to receive your results you automatically pay for a subscription
2.They invite you to take a quick, accurate, fun test and only once you have completed 21 questions are you made aware that you have to pay for the results.
3.Participants are interested in receiving the results having gone through 21 questions to know how they did, and willing to pay 49 pence but would clearly not be interested in a £39.99 subscription charge after a 21 question IQ test. While this is on the website it is always pages or a scroll below the page you are interacting with, obviously hidden. I have screen grabs to indicate this.
4.If IQ Academy were honestly interested in developing an ‘academy’ business there would be a welcome message to participants, which at the same time would alert people to the fact they have ‘joined an academy’ and paying a subscription. They hide their costs.
5.If IQ Academy were legitimate they would prompt people who are not using the site or never even logged onto the site to use the benefits they are paying for. They are hiding their subscription charges.
6.IQ Academy do not remind users that they are about to take £39.99 from their bank account.
7.IQ Academy do not send a receipt for taking the money from an account
8.This is clearly a ‘stealth’ tactic, luring people in for what they belive is a free test, then luring them into paying 49 pence to get the results of a mind taxing test they have participated in. Knowing clients are focussed on getting the results they take bank details, aiming to go unnoticed for as long as possible collecting £39.99 each month from their accounts.
9.The people running this test are clearly aware that people focussed on one thing ie ‘the results of their test’, will not notice another, ie that a subscription will be automatically taken from their account. This is natural human behaviour eg famously demonstrated in the ‘Invisible Gorilla’ Test, where participants focussing on a bouncing ball missed a gorilla running by. (Simons and Charbris)
10. I have copied in a document numerous complaints by other participants who have been similarly 'scammed'.

Awful- site lets you take the test then doesn’t give you results and you have to pay! It asks for your email address to send the results - but nothing comes. SO NOT USE

Purchased a tiny thing (Less than £2) from this website only for them to start taking £39.99 every month without my permission. When i tried to log back into the website to cancel any subscription that may have been applied erroneously was told that I dont have a log in and that my email address was not recognised by their system. Now i have to wait for the bank to send me a new card and refund me the funds. 100% Scam. DO NOT USE

Scammers. You take the 0.49p test and hidden in the T&Cs is a £39.99 subscription.
