this is the worst software you can use, please avoid using inworld.ai

Penelope on tts 2 enhanced or not is amazing. Any language. I don't write reviews but I was really impressed and happy about this.

It is one of my favorite TTS. unlike fish audio, All voices in the library are high quality. I just heard one voice that was popping but it turned to sound very realistic. AI voices are consistent meaning you can generate several time the same text and the voice is still the same. Not too much or little expression. Every AI voice has the right balance.

But here is what i love the most: we can see our exact consumption by clicking on Usage. Break time tag works, emotion tags, non-verbal tags work better than on eleventlabs or fish audio. the MP3 export format is 48Khz, 128Kb/s, mono. So no need to upsample or modify it.
good low - mid - sharp balance, no high low mid as witnessed on other platforms.

I was a Founder Tier subscriber, an early adopter who committed money before the product even shipped because I believed in what they were building. Instead, their system locked me out completely due to a technical error with their Google OAuth domain handling (specifically affecting @gmx accounts).

After filing a support ticket on Saturday, I waited days until Tuesday night only to receive a generic, automated template asking, "Are you still experiencing the issue?"

Desperate for a resolution, I turned to their official Discord server. A support representative named Valeria gave completely incorrect technical advice telling me to contact Google directly to fix an issue that is entirely within Inworld's own OAuth configuration and when I called it out, she began deleting her own public messages to cover up the mistake. She then attempted to bury my unresolved support query by randomly replying to ancient, unrelated threads to push my complaints off the screen.

When I demanded accountability, a staff member named Brian Cox [INWD] stepped in. Instead of prioritizing a fix for a paying customer who had been locked out for four days, he used his position to intimidate me, issuing a "community guidelines warning" because I was frustrated. Minutes later, they officially banned me from the Discord server entirely.

Inworld AI is happy to take your money, but if their system breaks, their support team will stall you, delete evidence of their own mistakes, and ban you from their community for demanding the service you paid for.

I have a permanent paper trail of emails and screenshots documenting this entire interaction. Absolutely disgraceful business operations. Avoid this company.

Update: The issue was resolved the following day, confirmed to be a block on their own end, exactly as I had diagnosed. No apology was offered for the days of lost access, no compensation, and no acknowledgement of the Discord conduct.

The fix took minutes. The runaround took days.
