I have recently returned from a wonderful walking holiday in Cyprus. It was such an enjoyable experience. Great hotel, fabulous location, excellent food, all 5*. The walks were made even better by the guides support and sharing their extensive knowledge of Cyprus. I will return, shame it wasn't 2 weeks!

I had another good week's holiday courtesy of Involved Holidays, Market Harborough, UK. This time it was in Andalucia, Spain. The 4* beach side hotel was good and the local senior guide Manuel was exceptionally professional with superb, unaccented clearly spoken English. We did four easy walks of which the best one was in the Alpujarra hills, just south of the Sierra Nevada range.
I went to Mallorca with Involved Holidays in March this year, & plan on going to Lanzarote & the Sierra Nevada with them next year. This in itself is a recommendation. Many of my fellow walkers were also repeat customers.

What a wonderful holiday! My first time with Involved Holidays and nothing was too much trouble. The rep was excellent, always keen to listen and followed up any concerns /queries immediately. The hotel was fantastic and the walks were stunning. Beautiful scenery and interesting places, lots of information about the history of the places visited. Am already looking at the next place to visit with Involved Holidays. Thank you for making my first solo trip so brilliant.

The pioneer beach hotel in paphos was fabulous in all departments, staff were very helpful and happy to help , food was very good with plentiful choice and lots of activities to do if you wanted.

Involved made all the pre holiday arrangements very easy. The rep was at the airport to meet us. Both of the two walk guides were excellent - very friendly and knowledgeable. The walks were good and had lovely views. The only negative was the mosquito bites on our levada walk - something beyond the control of Involved! On the whole the hotel was good but I would have liked better lighting and a kettle in the room. The food was OK but sometimes there were long queues for the freshly cooked foods and they were sometimes over or under cooked. The holiday itself was very enjoyable. The fact that I’ve booked another holiday to Lanzarote in January with Involved shows how much I like the company.

14 of us Redditch Ramblers went on the walking holiday to Romania in September it was a perfect dual destination break. The accommodation in Brasov was so well situated in the square and the guides were brilliant on one of our walks a bear ran across the path in front of us it was the experience of a lifetime thank you Involved Holidays yet again

Lovely hotel. Excellent walks and the service from our guides, John and Domi, made this holiday superb. They gave us lots of information along the walks and took great care to cater for the needs of all the group.

We have recently enjoyed a fourth holiday with Involved with a group of 27 having a great time walking in the hills of Costa Blanca whilst savouring our stay at the coastal resort of Calpe. Great walks, fantastic guide who also arranged tasty tapas at the conclusion of our walks. From start to finish well organised and tailored by Involved. Frances & Kevin McGlone.

Involved holidays treated us to a great week of hill walking in the Sierra de Mijas. We were a large group of over 50 walkers from Dublin and walks were organised on 4 days. On each of these days there were 2 guided walks which met the different capabilities of the group. The guides were fantastic. They were professional, attentive and very friendly and helped to make the walks very enjoyable.
The hotel was fine, although a little dated and could do with some modernisation. The breakfast and evening meals were buffet style and were also generally fine. Jose, one of our guides, organised a great night of music for the group in the hotel which was enjoyed by everyone. We will certainly consider using Involved Holidays again for future trips.

A well organised short break. A great hotel (Riverdale Hall, Bellingham) serving fantastic fresh food, in the modern British style. They did a different 3 course menu with 3 choices for each course for each night. And the toblerone cheesecake was amazing!

I really enjoyed the walks, some really beautiful landscapes, especially around Crag Lough and the (former) Sycamore gap. Very rugged and windswept.

Our tour guide (Michael) looked after us, and proved to be very knowledgeable. After our Saturday and Sunday evening meals he arranged a quiz for us in the bar.

My fellow travellers in the group were a very friendly bunch.

The Involved Holidays Representative was excellent. Not only did he do a great job organising birdwatching trips (minibuses and birdwatching experts) he also organised outings on the other days which were interesting and enjoyable. He made a major contribution to making the holiday an enjoyable and memorable experience for all in the group.
We were able to see many birds that are not generally seen in the UK e.g. flamingos, spoonbills, black-winged stilts, avocets, zitting cisticolas, black shoulder kites, etc. The birdwatching experts always came with a telescope which enhanced our birdwatching experience.
The hotel, accommodation and immediate surroundings were unusual and very interesting as together it had been a village inhabited by a tuna-fishing community. We stayed in the original cottages which had been modernised and we ate in the main hotel. The sense of staying in what had once been a thriving community was enhanced by the original church and school and a small museum outlining the history.
The accommodation was clean and well-maintained. The food was good and there was a wide choice to suit everyone's tastes. The staff were pleasant and polite.
In conclusion, this was a very enjoyable holiday for my wife and me. I had the impression that was also the case with the other 10 members of the group.

Well organised holiday in Costa Brava with Involved Holidays. The guide Jose was amazing both as a guide and he was very informative, talented and entertaining. The walks were tailored to our group and ended at delightful eateries. The hotel was very good and well located in Calpe.

Involved Holidays were absolutely fantastic.
The whole trip was well organised with great guides and holiday rep. Walks were adapted to accommodate skill levels and local weather conditions. The hotel Alcadima was idyllic and the staff were professional and friendly. Nothing was too much, or too little, bother.
I will be booking again.

After two previous trips with Involved Holidays, both of which were excellent, this one (Almunecar) was a bit of a let down. First of all, flights. Ryanair - 2nd worst airline in the UK with anything bigger than a small handbag having to go in the hold. The flight times meant we didn't arrive at the hotel until after 10pm. A cold dinner was left out for us, plated up and covered in clingfilm.
Second, the hotel food. Lukewarm at best. Fortunately there was a microwave in the dining room which I had to use at breakfast and dinner every day. Otherwise, the hotel was great - very clean and comfortable .
Third, guides. One was great, the other not so good. Didn't pace the walk according to the group's ability, no help with the older people coming down a really steep bit resulting in 2 of them having a fall. When they remonstrated with him, he replied, "Well you are walking on trails."
Four, walks. First one was OK. Two people fell on the second walk. The third walk was awful; mostly on concrete farm roads (very sore on the feet), along a dry river bed which ended up in a storm drain (more concrete) where the locals exercised their dogs and we had to be careful not to step on the mess.
Manuel, the rep was very good and everything a rep should be. The best part of the holiday was the trip to The Alhambra Palace - pity the rest wasn't up to this standard. Almost all of our group expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction with this holiday and several have said they will try another company next year.

Enjoyed the holiday. Prompt pick up from airport. Hotel staff could not do enough for you. Walking guide very professional, perfect English and full of knowledge regarding local area. Trip to Florence guide excellent. Also our welcome guide at hotel who helped us with information though out the week, excellent.

Lovely holiday and great guides who were pleasant and helpful. The hotel had a great swimming pool and lovely views of the coastline from the bar and dining room. Unfortunately the bedrooms and bathrooms were dated, scruffy and in need of modernisation.

The tour manager and the walk leaders were all very well versed in their roles. Especially in people management. The walk leaders (including Lunar) knew the routes that they were leading very well, also all of the surrounding area and were able to answer any question we asked. The balance of optional trips was good as it gave you a chance to go where you wanted if you didn't take part in them.

Excellent hotel and first class position just opposite the beach . Good food, lots of choice .
Great walk guides , varied hikes.
I would have preferred more challenging walks or better still a choice of walk levels

Well organised holiday. Very comfortable taxis waiting at Pisa airport. Hotel service and food very good. We had a lovely suite with a balcony overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Poets . All tickets for ferries rail and walking trails were supplied so travelling at resort was easy. Walk one was a bit harder than expected but was great to be able to use ferries and rail easily due to guide’s local knowledge and organising. Was easy to travel by bus on free days or enjoy Lerici itself. Overall a fabulous holiday
