Interhouse Makelaars Utrecht is the best! Relocating from California to this beautiful city was a daunting move on many levels, especially since we had never been here before. But Vincent and Michiel at Interhouse made finding a place easy and stress-free for my wife and I. Every step of the process was a wonderful experience that put us at ease, and their knowledge and care was much-needed from two very nervous people just trying to set up our new lives here. They took the time to get to know us and understand the needs and nice-to-haves in our wishlist and exceeded all expectations. When we saw the initial list of rentals, we were impressed by all the wonderful options, but after chatting with them and seeing their video walkthroughs, describing each in detail, we were able to make our decision quickly and clearly. Thank you Vincent aand Michiel for everything!

In eerste instantie de verhuur en beheer gedaan ivm tijdelijke emigratie. Ging super, geen gedoe ondanks dat er een paar kleine dingen met het huis waren. Gaandeweg bleek dat we ook wilden verkopen.
Toen op afstand het opknappen van het huis via hen geregeld. Ging snel, betrouwbaar en goed.
Nadien super prijs voor het huis!
Erg fijne vriendelijke en laagdrempelige maar professionele communicatie!

Complexe samenhang, alles ging soepel, nooit stress gehad en alles werd geregeld zoals besproken.
Zou het zo weer doen!

Inmiddels bijna 20 jaar maak ik gebruik van de verhuur en beheerdiensten van Interhouse, zowel de vestiging in Amsterdam als in Sassenheim. Ik heb tot op de dag van vandaag nog nooit 1 dag leegstand gehad en alleen maar opperbeste huurders in mijn woningen gekregen. Los van de hoge kwaliteit die je in alles bij hen merkt zijn het allemaal bijzonder aardige en klantvriendelijke mensen met echt verstand van zaken en die zonder moeite uit eigen beweging vaak een stapje harder lopen. Ik kan mij geen betere makelaar en beheerder wensen en raad deze partij dan ook met volle overtuiging aan.

Super makelaar, pragmatisch in aanpak en behulpzaam. Altijd bereikbaar wanneer nodig en komt met goede ideeën om verkoop goed te laten verlopen.
Van harte aan te bevelen en zou deze makelaar de volgende keer zeker weer gebruiken!

Onze makelaar Jens was kundig, duidelijk en zakelijk. Dat vond ik heel prettig aangezien we het hier hebben over bizarre geldbedragen. Hij adviseerde ons op een prettige manier en nam 'the lead' in het proces. Ook toen er even een kleine kink in de kabel leek te komen bleef hij kundig en zakelijk. Dat gaf me rust. Het was verder goed en snel geregeld. Ik zou zo weer met Jens in zee gaan.

Voor het eerste keer ‘alleen’, zonder mijn man, zo’n grote klus aangedurfd & ik had geen betere makelaar kunnen wensen. Interhouse is een hele fijne bedrijf om mee ‘in zee’ te gaan. Hun hele team is vriendelijk, behulpzaam, verwelkomend & So Much Fun! 🥰. Ik heb me heel veilig gevoeld met al hun hulp, door dit hele onderneming. Er was geen moment dat ik het gevoel kreeg dat ik ze lastig viel met al mijn vragen, onwetendheid & onzekerheid. Fantastisch, gewoon = een aanrader &, een Hele Mooie nieuwe Home gevonden. Mijn moeder is weduwe en heeft onder begeleiding van Interhouse een grote stap gemaakt, door een appartement te kopen en haar huis te verkopen. Doorgaans een ingewikkeld proces, maar zij is bij elke stap met empathie en vertrouwen aan de hand meegenomen. Er is naar haar geluisterd en met haar meegedacht, haar belangen zijn behartigd en ze heeft zich geen moment alleen of verloren gevoeld. Jens, bedankt voor de warmte, gezelligheid, kennis en begeleiding!

Very poor property management. Renting an apartment through this agency (both as agent and as property maintenance agency). They have no urgency for the tenant and look to temporary solutions rather than permanent solutions.
They are very hard to get hold of as they will only set aside one day a week for your property, so you need to wait till next week for an answer or someone to came and have a look on what needs fixing.
Correspondence is very selective. They only communicate "good news" while you need to call them to follow up and find the bad news.

Zeer goede professionele makelaars en zeer toegewijd. Ze nemen de tijd om naar de behoeften van de klanten te luisteren en zijn erg aardig en efficiënt. We hebben een geweldige ervaring gehad met Marlies en Jens bij het vinden van een nieuw appartement om te kopen in Den Haag. Ze kunnen de koopovereenkomsten voor de klanten controleren op eventuele onregelmatigheden en hen adviseren over de appartementen, de aankoopdetails en onderhandelen over de beste biedingen voor de klant (in ons geval). Bedankt Marlies voor je hulp, doorzettingsvermogen, geduld en professionaliteit bij het zoeken naar een nieuw appartement voor ons en het vinden van de beste deals. We bevelen Marlies van harte aan en hopen ook in de toekomst met haar samen te werken. Ook heel erg bedankt Jens voor het juridisch advies. We hebben geluk dat we jullie kennen! Uitstekend werk!!

We rented a house in Haarlem through Interhouse for over two years. While the check-in process was smooth, our experience declined drastically due to serious mismanagement by both the landlord and the agency.

The first major issue began when our bedroom started leaking during heavy rain. We had to endure water dripping into our room for days before anything was done to fix it. Shortly after, the boiler stopped working, and we were left without hot water for more than a week in winter. The excuse was that no one was available to fix it, but in truth, the landlord insisted on using a specific technician—delaying the repair unnecessarily when plenty of companies could have resolved it sooner.

Then came the first round of renovations at the back of the house. We were informed workers would be on the property, but in practice, they knocked on our door early in the morning and even asked us to pay for their parking—completely inappropriate behavior for tenants to deal with.

Things escalated after we gave notice to move out. The landlord immediately began renovations at the front of the house, and for a week and a half, we had workers arriving at 7:30 a.m. daily, disrupting our work-from-home routines. This was particularly serious, as we both handle confidential information and needed a quiet, private environment. We ultimately decided to leave the house before the end of the tenancy.

More disturbing was that one of the workers was the landlord, who entered the house daily without knocking, using his key—despite us being home. This was a blatant invasion of privacy. When we reported this unprofessional and intrusive behavior, we were accused of inappropriate conduct, with one of the InterHouse employees—a particularly rude and unprofessional person named Cilly—claiming that my husband was walking around with headsets on and smoking when they arrived, as if that somehow justified walking in unannounced. Not only was this a baseless accusation, but it was also deeply disrespectful. We were the ones whose privacy was violated, and instead we were accused of things they had no proof of.

During this period, the workers also used our electricity and water freely, while we were already in the process of moving out. When we returned to collect the remaining items, we discovered that a suitcase and a brand-new €200 Bosch vacuum cleaner had been stolen. We reported this to Interhouse, and were met with mockery and laughter from Mr. Barend, who not only made fun of the situation but also joked during the final checkout appointment.
At the checkout, Mr. Barend attempted to charge us for things like a tilted toilet seat, which had been that way since we moved in, and nitpicked about limescale, while ignoring the fact that we had repainted several walls to improve the condition of the house. Fortunately, the formal checkout report clearly stated there were no damages and no deductions to be made, as the property was returned in good condition.
Despite this, we still had to chase down our deposit, which by Dutch law must be returned within 14 days when no deductions apply.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Sadly, it's not the first time we’ve had issues with real estate agencies in the Netherlands, but Interhouse has been by far the worst. They showed a complete lack of respect, professionalism, and accountability.
We would strongly advise anyone to avoid Interhouse. If you do rent through them, document absolutely everything, and don’t expect support when problems arise.

Not a good company.
The landlord did not leave any bedlinnen or towels when we entered and the broker did not care.
The landlord kept illegally the part of the deposit and the broker did nothing.
Only interested in quick deals.

He was always very helpful with finding persons to rent my extra apartment, provided fair rental price for both sides, complies within legal boundaries, helpful propery management and even helped with some extra maintenance I requested to be done. Ze hebben ons uitstekend geholpen bij het tijdelijk verhuren van ons appartement. Gewoon: afspraak is afspraak. Er was veel interesse voor het appartement, ook van minder geschikte huurders. Interhouse heeft hier een goede selectie uit gemaakt.

Horrible experience ending my tenancy. They are scammers as are the landlords in my case. Looking to keep as much of my deposit as possible. The house I rented is old and in need of renovations. It seems they are trying to advantage themselves by getting me to cover repairs to the house that were there when I rented it. Unprofessional, horrible language used, aggressive behaviour and would not fix anything. Fridge is old and kaput, asked them to repair or replace. My issue. Everything at the end has been a horrible exchange. Do not rent from them. I feel sorry for the new tenant that they are asking €750 more to rent and in the end it will end in tears. Several energy inspectors have been brought in to get a better energy rating. It’s a F rating that they are trying to falsely put as a better rating.

We had an exceptional experience with Interhouse, especially with Sarinah, who was incredibly helpful and dedicated throughout every step of the process. Despite some bureaucratic challenges along the way, the Interhouse team demonstrated proactivity and flexibility, finding alternatives that allowed us to rent the apartment of our dreams. We are extremely happy and grateful to have chosen Interhouse to guide us through this important journey. Highly recommended!

Dankzij Jens zijn inzet en kennis van de markt hebben we een uitstekende verkoopprijs gekregen binnen een zeer korte tijd. Elke stap werd duidelijk uitgelegd, en ik werd continu op de hoogte gehouden. Ik zou Jens zonder twijfel aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een betrouwbare en betrokken professional!

Echt een supervriendelijk en serieus bedrijf! Na reactie op een aangeboden woning werd ik meteen vriendelijk geholpen en snel gebeld door Sarinah. Bezichtiging kon al snel plaatsvinden en ze denkt echt goed mee met een goede oplossing. Vergeleken andere particuliere verhuurders is dit echt een topbedrijf en ze gaan echt professioneel en serieus te werk. Als je snel een woonruimte zoekt is dit echt de ideale oplossing en je wordt gehoord en goed geholpen! Zeker een aanrader!
