Dr Satpal explained everything in detail, and gave me exercises to help with my pain as well as things I could buy to help with the pain when I am exercising. I was also impressed with how fast I got the follow up notes! Amazing service, highly recommend!

Over the years, I gradually lost confidence in the GP system. What should feel like proper medical care has often become little more than a rushed 10-minute conversation, with minimal examination, increasing difficulty obtaining appointments, and the frustrating “one problem per appointment” approach. Medicine cannot always be reduced to isolated symptoms, and this fragmented system risks overlooking the bigger clinical picture. Many patients feel trapped in a system that the public still perceives as “free”, yet these consultations are ultimately funded through taxpayers’ money, and one cannot help but question whether the quality of care still reflects the resources invested.
My recent NHS experience unfortunately reinforced these concerns. Despite presenting with severe abdominal pain and undergoing investigations, the follow-up consisted only of a brief text message containing generic instructions, without properly addressing the pain or the symptoms that had led me to seek help in the first place. I found that deeply disappointing and far below what patients should reasonably expect from medical care.
This ultimately led me to seek private care with Dr Satpal, and the difference was remarkable. Although I paid privately for a consultation, what I truly received was far more valuable: time, attention, clinical expertise, detailed explanations, continuity of care, and genuine reassurance. He took the time to listen carefully, explain his examination findings step by step, answer my concerns thoroughly, and most importantly, make me feel that someone was truly taking responsibility for my case.
For the first time in a long while, I felt treated as a patient rather than simply processed through a system.
I cannot recommend Dr Satpal highly enough.
