Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.

Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.

With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.

The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.

The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:

The smallest existing pocket watch.

‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.

The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.

The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.

Ingersoll watches have been sold continuously since their inception and today the Ingersoll brand is renowned the world over.

Ingersoll continues to maintain the ethos of the Ingersoll brothers and is proud to present a new range of quality, precision timepieces.

I ordered my time piece on the 5th of…

I ordered my time piece on the 5th of December 2023, it was delivered to the South African Depot on the 21st to today is the 10th and its still waiting to be collected form the depot for delivery. This is very disapointing.

Not that good service

Still not received my order

This was clearly messaged on our website. Upon resuming on 02/01/24 your order was dispatched by Parcelforce with tracking ref PBSP1313549001. Upon checking the tracking status it states that several delivery attempt was made on 03/01 & 04/01 but due to no one available to receive delivery it has been returned to local depot for re-delivery.

Update - 10/01/24

I tried to reach out to you on your mobile, but you were not available so left a voicemail with our contact details and information.

Your order was dispatched on 02/01/24 by Parcelforce with tracking reference PBSP1313549001. According to below tracking status they tried to deliver the parcel on 03/01 & 04/01 but on both occasions there was no one available to receive delivery so it was sent to depot and needed to call them to re-arrange delivery.

Second purchase from Ingersoll

The service is quick!
Most of all the quality of Ingersoll watches are fantastic for the price.
My son's first watch from Ingersoll was for his 18th birthday. And his nan wanted to buy him another watch, so we knew just where to buy from.

Bought an Ingersoll Bison No 10 watch…

Originally I had left a fairly critical review based on me being angry. This was because I had bought an Ingersoll Bison watch that then failed within a few weeks.
However, Ingersoll have responded and I must add that 1 particular employee, Bhavin, absolutely pulled out all the stops to help resolve the problem.
Bhavin kept in touch with me, organised the watch to be reviewed and supported a full repair.
So the watch is back, like new, fully working again.

Many thanks for your feedback. As discuss over the email the the model you have purchased is an earlier generation model which has been discontinued for over 10+ years. These models are not part of the current Ingersolll1892 range hance not covered under lifetime guarantee. Anyway as advised request to return the watch to our service centre and we will do our best to resolve this for you.

Ridiculous international delivery…

Ridiculous international delivery times. I ordered a piece more than a month back which was supposed to arrive in 10-15 working days, but up till now more than 25working days there is still no update from the courier. It's quite appalling that a company that markets its products overseas does not have reliable courier partners!

Everything is fine but you should try a little more…

Your watches look beautiful and your brand name is well known but there are some things that you should probably upgrade/update. First of all you might put sapphire crystal on your medium price range watches over 250-300 euros in order to coordinate with the competition of market. Also you should be more accurate on your description of your watches. For example about the type of mechanism your watches use, autonomy etc. That they are just automatic doesn't mean anything particular. Costumers have to google for the further information that your site doesn't offer as it should. However Ingersoll after sales service is very good and the life time guarantee should be taken into consideration.

Watch arrived broken

Watch arrived broken which isn’t a great start but once I got to speak to someone they said they’d send out a new watch no issues so provided that one works on arrival, I can’t complain

I did not receive any watch

The delivery was handeled wrong by the third party company from our country - Named GLS Romania. Used a fake signature. Also the Ingersoll company has refunded my order money back. I appreciate their support service.
