I placed 2 orders on 15/11 and had to cancel. I called them on the same day and they told me orders were cancelled and i would receive my refund within 3 business days. After 3 days I called again and another agent told me the refund would take up to 6 working days. After 6 days from the cancellation they told me they don't know when the refund will take place as it's not up to them but up to the accounting department that would contact me. Nobody did and i called the accounting department myself. In the meantime one cancelled order arrived and after calling them they told me that both orders had eventually been shipped and that I will receive the refund once they will receive the orders and it will take up to 10 working days from today. So it's safe to say i won't have my money sooner than 20 day after cancelling the orders.. Thanks, IKEA.

When I called them, they said to give some more time to the delivery company and call them back if no results! (Is that a process?)
Next call they said they will follow up with the delivery company, but they lied. Found out because I called 4th time and spoke with another agent, she told me that no request was made by the previous agent!! Still waiting..

I ordered a table, it arrived badly damaged. Ikea then used the same delivery company to deliver a replacement - the second one was also badly damaged.
I did not accept delivery. This was over 6 weeks ago and I have still not received a refund. I have called Ikea approx. 20 times and have never received a return call, despite being promised one by every person I have spoken to.
I was advised on 20th October I would have a refund - it is now 1st November and I do not have it (see attached email). As you can see from the email, the courier did not even bother to return the table to them.
They will tell you anything to get you off the phone but the CS staff are poor and have absolutely no ability in assisting you. There is no way to escalate a complaint - there is NO complaint procedure. I have emailed - these emails have been ignored.
I will never purchase a delivery item from Ikea Greece again.
They are literally dragging the reputation on IKEA thrgouh the mud with their poor ability to offer any level of customer service. Stick with JYSK.

Ordered something online on the 5th of September 2023. Cancelled the next day saying that I will be fully refunded within 10 days. It's been two months, no refund yet despite multiple phone calls. No apologies whatsoever. Should you want to have a really bad experience buying furniture for your home, choose IKEA Greece!

1st: the order was delayed by a week, without properly informing the customer about it.
2nd: 2-3 different people call you to arrange a 4-hour range for the delivery time - they are not aligned even though they work for the same delivery company. At the delivery day itself they end up delivering the time that suits them best, even if you have stated a different time range. So the expectation is for you to stay at home the whole day and just to wait for the driver to call you. It's like waiting for the Queen of England to pay you a visit....ridiculous.
3rd: Reclamation is a mess - the work is fully on the customer to execute all the steps needed for the reclamation. The whole process is not customer friendly.
In Overall: The customer service is really really bad (on both sides though: IKEA e-shop and on the delivery company cooperating with the e-shop).
I have lived in many different countries in Europe and used IKEA every time. I have never ever experienced what I've experienced with IKEA Greece. It's really a shame, especially as I always valued IKEA a lot.
Avoid online delivery at all costs
I so wish I had read this before ordering online with Ikea. What a bunch of cowboys. I receive a message telling me my delivery will come between 11 and 3pm, so i left work, drove 30mins home and waited...and waited...nothing. Oh, and this is the SECOND time it has happened with them. Totally rubbish. If you order online, try to arrange your own delivery somehow, it's so not worth the stress with IKEA's gypsy recruited delivery team.

I shop online a lot, and I usually receive orders the next day. With ikea.gr, so far It has been two weeks since my order, and there is still nothing.
I opened a dispute with PayPal, who refunded the money back to me immediately. I will be happy to support the many local businesses that actually appreciate their customers. Thank you, PayPal!
Do NOT buy from ikea eshop
IKEA customer service is rude and they don't know their job well at all. my order was almost 3 weeks away and it didn't arrive. after 4 phone calls every 2 days they always said they will call you back and they NEVER did. in the answers they said "we don't know" I asked for cancellation and they didn't do it. when I asked when it's canceled when I'll get my money back they still didn't know.
then I went to the physical Ikea store. there they tried to serve me better but again they couldn't do much!we finally managed to find the shipping code, I went to the courier company that had given it to me. I received it from the same courier company that I had paid for the transport, but they never brought it to me!!!!!So i paid for shipping that i didn't receive,i lost my time,i spend gaz and many calls for nothing!they didn't even apologize for the inconvenience they caused me.
!!do not buy from the eshop!! you will never receive it. you will get on your nerves. they will make fun of you on the phone.

Με την εν λόγω εταιρεία απιστολής δεν υπήρχε καμία δυνατότητα επικοινωνίας και καμία ΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ ούτε ΚΩΔΙΚΟ έλαβα,όπως μου είχαν πεί.
Είναι ΑΠΑΡΑΔΕΚΤΟ η εταιρεία ΙΚΕΑ να συνεργάζεται με μια ΚΑΘΟΛΟΥ ΑΞΙΟΠΙΣΤΗ εταιρεία αποστολής όπως είναι η SVUUM,σύμφωνα και με ανηρτημένες κριτικές αξιολόγησης της SVUUM!!!

Worst service, liar - no body cares. The order has been placed 3 weeks ago. No delivery. Call servetal times, no one cared or even bothered to call back.

Please please please never buy a mattress from IKEA, Our mattress is just 8 months old and it is dreadful, no longer flat, in fact it undulates like the waves on the sea, going up and down like a range of mountains and its getting worse, the surface is just a mass of bobbles despite have a good mattress protector on it. I rang the eshop here and was promised a call back...that never happened....managed to track down the email for the CEO and was promised some sort of response but yet again that didn't happen. They even went so far as to email to say my contact phone number was incorrect so they could not contact me.....that would be the same number they used to arrange delivery. Absolutely no customer service or after care.
No delivery....and no refund
I ordered from ikea.gr on 22nd April 2023 with an estimated delivery in 9 working days. After contacting Customer Support many times, they eventually told me that the transport company had "not been able to contact me", like in other reviews I see here. Only in my case, they went as far as giving me an invalid phone number, in order to contact their transport - by name Giannis - by myself.
I eventually cancelled the order on 7th June 2023. I was told that they need to receive the goods from the transport company first, before they can process the refund. In response, I requested that they give me notice of the expected refund date within 14 days. There has been no response ever since. Even though the company has confirmed the cancellation by email, the status of my order is still "ready to be dispatched" in their order tracking system - instead of "cancelled".
I suspect this is an elaborate case of fraud, committed by employees/ contractors of the company who have found a way to exploit a vulnerability in the company's IT and processes.
The question is, how can I take legal action to get my refund and what is the best organisation in Greece to handle this kind of fraud case.

This is one of the worst delivery/customer service experience I have ever had - particularly for a developed country like Greece.
I've been traveling for work and decided to order a pretty large and costly set of items from IKEA online to have them delivered while I was away (and my mum would reception them).
Since then, I was given twice delivery dates but with no time (despite the text message mentioning that I'll be notified the same day about the four hour time slot), and twice no one showed up or dared contacted me to tell me about the delay - leaving my old mother waiting all day for the delivery company to come.
I called IKEA customer service dozens of times to explain to them that my Greek # could not receive calls and gave alternative options to contact me (including asking them to send simply an email) or give them my mother's phone number - though nothing was ever taken into consideration or ''forgotten to be added to my file''.
When repeatedly asking whether I could be sure that the delivery company that IKEA outsourced was contacted they said they did not know, everything was going through their ''system'', and could not directly contact the delivery company or give me their contact details for me to follow up with them.
IKEA online service sent me an email to tell me they will contact the delivery company - yet NEVER followed up with me nor did they reply to my emails.
The only way to contact IKEA is via phone calls, nothing else, and the service I got at all times is that my issue is not being followed up, I'm not being contacted nor updated about the status of my delivery and pieces of information I have repeatedly provided have kept on being ''forgotten'' by IKEA staff - one after the other since I have to reach to a completely new person each time.
This is by far the worst experience I have had in years especially in a EU country and for such a large company that IKEA is.
I will be canceling my order, but I'm worried that my cancelation will be dealt with in the same way and that I'll end up never being reimbursed given how poorly supported I have been so far.
This is appalling and will never ever shop nor recommend IKEA ever again.

The ikea Athens assembly service did not show up within the set six-hour waiting period. Nor did it inform me not to wait for it. I guess they consider customers their servants. Nice corporate policy and relationship!!!!
Very poor service
Very poor service. Ordered and paid and two weeks later I get a message saying my order is ready for shipment. Following day I get a call to say your order (all items) have been cancelled we will refund your account. This is the second time......basically forcing us to use other large companies which we had to do. Never again!

It's incredible, I really don't know where to start?
That we ordered things and a week later we got called "Oooops the things you ordered are not available"? (I mean, things happen, right? But when it happens continuousy, it's not funny!).
And then we don't even get a free delivery for those things which we have to order again because they were suddenly not in stock anymore.
Or shall I talk about how damn long the delivery takes?
Or that the customer service is like not even a little bit flexible when it's about changing orders?
Or that we once waited half a year to exchange a product?
Jesus... Give me control over your organization and I'll flip it upside down and make it a successful thing (well, it seems to be successful anyway for some reason. Lucky Ikea, your name is big enough to make people accept this really bad service. But for how long?). But whoever is in control here - EXCHANGE THEM or teach them how to run a business, please!!!

Αγόρασα καναπέ το 2017 ο οποίος του τελευταίους δυο μήνες ξαφνικά διαλύθηκε, στη κυριολεξία έφυγαν κομμάτια ξύλου εσωτερικά. Στα πρώτα 4-5 χρόνια είχα ξεφουσκώσει και τα μαξιλάρια αλλά το θεώρησα φυσιολογικό παρότι είναι 'fix' στο καναπές και δε μπορείς να τα ανανεώσεις.
Είδα με χαρά ότι ΟΛΟΙ οι καναπέδες έχουν 10 χρόνια εγγύηση και κάτι τέτοιο θυμόμουν και εγω, ίσως βέβαια να το μπερδεύω με το στρώμα IKEA που εχω που σίγουρα έχει 10 χρόνια εγγύηση. Με ενημέρωσαν όμως οτι το 1997 που τον αγόρασα εγώ είχε μόλις 2 χρόνια...
Πως γίνεται ο ΙΔΙΟΣ καναπές, ίδιος κωδικός να έχει τοτε 2 χρόνια και τώρα 10; Τέλος πάντως παρότι έχω αγοράσει στο ΑΦΜ μου κάποιες χιλιάδες ευρώ στο ΙΚΕΑ, ΠΟΤΕ ποια IKEA. Είχα την εντύπωση ότι το Service του ήταν σωστό αλλά έκανα λάθος κάτι πάει στραβά γενικότερα.
