Still waiting for items that were in stock(!) to be delivered....one month and counting. After online purchase, IKEA emailed to say there would be a delay of 13 business days until delivery, however 13 business days were 5 business days ago. No communication was given beyond the initial email and I can't get any information after calling or emailing. No delivery date can be given by IKEA or their terrible transport company, Diakinisis. There is ZERO customer service. I will not be ordering from IKEA in the future and will be telling everyone about this experience and saying to stay away. There are so many alternative companies in this space.
IKEA needs to return to the self-collect model instead of renting out that space to other vendors. It was was separated IKEA from the rest of the companies.

The worst service I have ever experienced!!
I bought a sofa on the 1st of July 2024 with scheduled delivery on the 10th. Still on the 25 August am waiting for the sofa to be delivered! In the meantime I have been sleeping on the floor during my holiday and shortly I am leaving the place!
The staff I have been contacting almost every in order to find out what's happened to my sofa, the have been talking the "wooden language" without giving so far any precise/concrete answer. This is the policy of the company. they have become a very slow organization, similar to the public sector!! PITY indeed! Can someone there at IKEA answer where my sofa is???!!!!!
I am sure that the company will get in touch after one month or more (the slow organization I mentioned above)!! PITY

I have placed an order on 15th July and was promised an up to 10 working days delivery from Ikea Greece. It is the 22nd July and I have still not received my items. Of course they have taken the money from my bank account on the day of the order + 14 euros for the delivery costs.
I will never order from Ikea again, very very poor service. Avoid!
Ordered over 6 weeks ago and still have not received items!
Ordered 6 July for > 300€, over 6 weeks ago, still received NOTHING. Have spoken to them every 2 days and have been promised immediate delivery every time. IKEA blames it on the transport company so they do not give you your money back until the items are back at their warehouse. This is clearly not acceptable.

Πλήρωσα για δύο κρεβάτια συν την παράδοση στις 24 Ιουλίου. Η εταιρεία παράδοσης συνεχίζει να έρχεται λάθος μέρα. Έχω εγκαταλείψει αρκετές μέρες δουλειά για να είμαι σπίτι και ακόμα δεν έχω τα κρεβάτια μου 21 μέρες μετά. Είμαι πολύ απογοητευμένος από την κακή εξυπηρέτηση της Ikea και των εταιρειών παράδοσης.

I regret having my kitchen done by Ikea Greece. The whole system is falling apart.
The delivery service, Delatolas, did not deliver at the appointed time. They had to come three times because every time there were missing parts. The Assembling Service sent a man who was so rude that we almost kicked him out of the house. The Customer Service is completely incompetent.
I have called a thousand times, written mails, and received no response at all. I had to buy some parts that were missing in delivery, which I had already paid for, and I'm still waiting for the money. I have contacted the Fourlis company which owns Ikea Greece, but still received the same response. Nothing.
Do not order online
Do not order online, they may deliver after 2 months and 30 calls. Use another company, their service is at the pre-internet level.
Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs
Ordered a PAX wardrobe (which was an unpleasant enough experience by itself). Wardrobe was ordered on 23rd June. 16 days later received a message saying that items had been damaged during handling by their delivery company and whether I would like to cancel my order or receive the order without the damaged items. When I cancelled the order, they advised me they would refund my payment only once they had received the goods back in their warehouse, which is ridiculous since this has nothing to do with me. I cancelled the order and I have spent 40 days since then trying to get my money back without success. Customer service lies freely and without consequence and whatever they may say, they will never call back - I was told repeatedly that the refund had been processed only for two weeks later to be told that the order had not yet been cancelled and whether I would still like delivery to go ahead, except without them being able to assure any delivery date. Still haven't received a refund and it will soon be two months since I paid for the non-existent wardrobe.

I purchased a sofa at 17/7/2024 from IKEA Greece at the Airport. I also paid 95 euros in order to get the sofa delivered at my house in Paros island at 31/7/2024. I didn't have any update for that so i called them and then they told me that they have delays with deliveries and that i will have my sofa delivered at 10/8/2024, which is today. No sofa for today also. I called them and they said that I HAVE TO REACH OUT TO THE DELIVERY COMPANY BY MYSELF. i am starting to think taking some advice form a lawyer.

IKEA should terminate their delivery company
Bought a kitchen from Ikea and ordered the home delivery, biggest mistake I ever made!
I got an sms saying it would be delivered on the 26/7 then nothing, I called customer service multiple times stating that I have booked the set up company for 2/8 and the kitchen needs to be delivered by then, they answered that the deadline for transport is on the 31/7. so I waited. No delivery was made, and the worst part is no information about the delay, no answer from customer service other than that my things are with the delivery company, but I bought the service from them!
I had to cancel the set up and consequently the electrician, the plumber, the tiles, the painter etc. I rebooked the set up and I called the transport company several times, still 5 days later than the original delivery date set 31/7 I have no kitchen and I do not know when I will. .. It has been very stressful , my nerves are not well, I am not well. I have never in my life had this perception of Ikea as also I am living I Sweden, I find this unexpected and unacceptable .
They should review the companies they work with and change end this collaboration.

This being my last resort and hoping it’s going to help me and the people that IKEA Greece has put at the same situation as me.
The below is part of the email I sent to all the IKEA international email addresses I could find:
I have placed the Order 3B7FFFD26F54, since the 14th of July, with shipping time, at that time, up to 5 working days, worth €752.
On the 18th of July I received an email stating that my order will be delayed 2-3 business days. Since then I haven’t received the slightest, even automated update, from your company.
It is now 4th of August, I still haven’t received my order, I have no update, no tracking number, I don’t even know if my order left the online store!
I have repeatedly contacted the customer service via phone, I have sent an email via your Greek website, but nobody informs me when I will receive my order or it’s whereabouts.
I have, also, repeatedly asked for a call from the online store or a supervisor, nobody ever contacted me back.
Today, fed up of the situation, I’m trying in any possible way to get in contact with a responsible professional. I have already tried via Instagram and Facebook and email.
I’m sorry to realise that the IKEA name was handed over to utter unprofessionals!
Please, take a look at the comments on the Ikea Greece Instagram and Facebook profiles, Google Maps and Trustpilot, it will be an eyeopener procedure, you will understand that I’m not the exception, but the rule!
I have truly gone above and beyond! I don’t know what more to do. I feel helpless and hopeless. I read comments of customers that after a month of waiting for delivery, they are asking for their refunds and it’s unsure when and IF they will receive their money back! This is unacceptable! It’s overwhelming misleading and upsetting for your customers!

The original delivery is 8 bussiness days. I'm now at 14 bussines days and they haven't send the package yet. They don't respond to emails. I talked with a customer service agent and she doesn't have the slightest idea when the package will be delivered.
I had a same experience a year ago. I thought i could give them a chance again but i didn't see the bad reviews. I guess they do it systematically.

IKEA Greece Online - The WORST customer service
I almost have no words for how poor IKEA Greece's online and customer service is but I will try...
I placed an order (€600 including a €53 delivery charge) on the 09/07/24 and 14 Business Days later it has still not arrived. When I called last week the guy assured me 100% the items would be delivered today so I cut short a trip to be home. Today, nothing, no update, no SMS.
If you send an email, it goes unanswered, if you can get through on the telephone then they lie to you to get rid of you (the guy actually admitted today that they lied to me last week, this is a first!). I appreciate it's Greece and I can accept that things are a bit slower/more disorganised here but this is one of the biggest homeware companies in the world!
The attitude of customer service is so poor it practically defies description, "it's not my fault, we are doing our best, it's the delivery company's fault, try again later". They take no responsibility for their failures, don't apologise and leave you with zero confidence that they will do anything to resolve it, they truly care nothing for their customers.
If you want anything from IKEA then just go to the stores which do actually resemble the genuine company, for online shopping AVOID like the plague.
UPDATE: So the delivery finally arrived after 3.5 weeks. But IKEA still haven't updated the account page and then two days ago they called ME to ask if it had arrived! You couldn't make it up, absolutely hopeless!
