Got the ihome Nova S1 for Christmas. Used for two months then suddenly stopped working. Contacted company and was told they will not honor warranty or their product because was bought at Atwoods which apparently isn't an authorized retailer so they think this means they don't have to honor any thing about their crappy product that only works two months. They wouldn't even send new battery to see if that was the problem was told I could purchase one on their website. I will not be buying any more ihome products if this is how awful they run their company and how crappy their products really are.

I ordered an I home autovac Juno and I had been running it and I went to do maintenance on it. And discovered that they forgot to put in the hepa filter. I tried calling customer service which kept telling me to get ahold of file a claim thru text.. The fastest way, would be by text. I put in a claim. Never heard anything about it.I put in another claim the next day and the next day and they still will not return my texts. So this company's customer service is nonexistent.I would never order again.

I purchased a Nova s2 mop and Vac from an online retailer. It was new. I have had nothing but issues with it 4 months after purchase. It has a 1 year warranty but ihome says it is at their discretion if they work with an online retailer so they decided they will not exchange or refund. Absolute con. We offer it but if you don't buy from us we won't cover it. Never again.

I purchased the iHome iSS50 Smart Monitor for my home automation setup, only to have it become a completely non-functional device after iHome shut down the cloud services and removed the app needed to operate it.

The product was sold with features entirely dependent on their cloud infrastructure, yet the company chose to discontinue support, making it impossible to use as intended. Even worse, when I contacted iHome, they acknowledged the shutdown but stated that no compensation would be offered to affected customers.

This means the money spent is a total loss, and the device is now just e-waste. Their fallback solution works only for iOS (and with very limited features), leaving Android users with nothing.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability. If you’re considering buying any iHome smart device, be aware that your purchase is at the mercy of their cloud service staying alive—and history shows they may shut it down anytime.

Verdict: Avoid. Choose a brand that commits to maintaining their services or at least compensating customers when they discontinue them.

We bought the IHome IM30SCX Clock Radio With USB Charging for my daughter for Christmas.

The clock ceased working 14 months after it was purchased. Clearly it is a technical that effects many products as it's been discontinued in many retailers and there's lots of blogs discussing it.

It's a very expensive product considering the longevity.

I won't be buying from iHome again. Cheap products that are not designed to last. Poor customer service that puts blame on its customers.
