The service has been exceptional, the staff are very helpful, informative and friendly and medical team were very professional. The new hairline they have created for me looks very natural so I am pleased. I would highly recommend them.

I’m from Sweden.When I contacted them I got a person who spoke Swedish. He helped me with the hole process.The transplant of 4200 graft took around 6 hours for me. No waiting time.Not painful except anaesthesia.long 6 hours to lie on stomach but no problem.A year later al seems to grow great. I have a hairline like when I was in my early 20s.The service around whit shuttles etc was flawless.

The staff were excellent, the accommodations were comfortable, and overall everything was very professional. The procedure itself was challenging in terms of its length and the pain during numbing but the medical staff made the process pretty comfortable and the medical consultants were attentive. I wish a numbing cream could have been applied to my scalp prior to the numbing injections but otherwise it was not bad. As for results, I am extremely happy with them! I am 15 months post-operation and my hair looks incredible. My confidence is way up and I can rock different hairstyles now. For any black or mixed people looking to get a hair transplant, this is your place!

Best decision I have ever made. Idealofmed is the greatest hair transplant place in the world. Only problem I had was that I didn’t do it sooner. All the staff are amazing all the way down to the drivers are all the nicest and best people. If I need to ever do a little more I won’t hesitate at all. Plus the trip to turkey is also an amazing opportunity and experience although I might have gained about 10 pounds because of the amazing food.

Ideal of Med in Istanbul performed a hair transplant for me recently, and I am really happy with their excellent service. I was looked after from the time I arrived in Turkey until now, and I continue to communicate with them to provide them updates and address any worries I may have during the after-care. On the day of the transplant, you are greeted by an English-speaking team member / point of contact who goes over everything with you and makes sure you are prepared for every step. A doctor is present to supervise the entire process and provide the all-clear prior to the operation. If you choose to have the FUE-DHI combination operation, the doctor also performs the DHI portion of the procedure. Overall, I would highly recommend if your looking to get a transplant done in Turkey.

Everything is well arranged right after the flight, nice airport shuffle service, and a decent hotel to stay.
The medical team is truly expert in hair-transplant surgery. Doctor is patient in communication and have a great sense in designing transplant area which made it aesthetically and naturally. This is my 10th day after surgery as I am writing. Everything goes smoothly and I am willing to have my second treatment next year with the same team.

At first I was nervous. There was no signboard at the Turkish airport, that I got a picture a few weeks ago via WhatsApp. For about 15 minutes I was asking taxi drivers for advice. Confused, I showed the picture on my smartphone. Finally, a third driver pointed to a building on the other side of the road. Inside the building was a man with a correct sign. He also had my name on the list. After that, everything went smoothly. I sat in a 5-star luxury taxi that drove me to my hotel. The hotel had friendly customer service staff who spoke fluent English. Before leaving, the taxi driver told me the time he would pick me up for the clinic the next morning. The pick up was appropriately timed half an hour after the start of the breakfast buffet. So I can start my day with a full stomach. The breakfast buffet was of high quality, as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. At the clinic, the staff was already waiting at the taxi door. The atmosphere was warm and trustful. Fluent English was also spoken at the clinic. At first, I was really stressful about the operation. The doctor noticed my reaction and quickly calmed me down by talking nicely. I was also given a sedative when I asked for it myself. After the surgery, I was very happy in the evening at the hotel. "I have new hair! I can't believe this is true." The next day was great. Taxi took me back to clinik for post-check. Everything seemed to be fine. For the rest of the day, my wife and I walked around the city seeing the sights.
On the last day, a 5-star taxi arranged by the clinic picked us up from Hotel and took us to the airport. If you are considering a hair transplant. I can only recommend the IDEAL OF MED clinic. All in all, a great experience that raised my self-esteem to a whole new level.

I was in the market for HT since 2021 however couldnt make a choice of service provider. Was in contact with many HT clinics in Turkey but each one had pros and cons when I went through their offerings. I got in contact with IdealofMed in Aug 2022 and was immediately convinced that they are the one who will perform the Hair Transplant surgery on Me. I was so impressed with their service that I had two HT surgeries ( DHI Method) with them. First one was in Nov 2022 for Front area with 4100 Grafts and Second one in Dec 2023 for Crown area with 3100 Grafts.
The moment You book your session with them, the whole team gets on their job. Receiving pre op kit by courier one month before your surgery, All the instructions, Airport Pick up , Hotel Accommodation, The actual surgery etc. All went well as per the expectations. The whole team is expert in their field and you never feel unsafe with them. As they used DHI method ,the whole session was smooth. You just need to endure the first 15 minutes of pain while they perform local anaesthesia. The recovery was also faster than expected. On both the Hair Transplants I was working in My office after one week. After the 10th Day scab removal, no one will know that You have got a Hair transplant surgery.

The overall experience was great. As soon as you land at the airport you are taken care of. The private transport is very convenient and efficient. It takes you to and from the airport and will drop and collect you to the hospital. The hotel is really nice too. The medical team in the hospital are amazing at what they do and make the procedure as painless as possible. The only bit of pain I had was the numbing injections but that is always going to be expected. It’s been 2 weeks since my procedure and it’s making really good progress, no issue with the healing process. I would highly recommend anybody interested in undergoing a hair transplant to take the next step and reach out to Ideal of Med.

I had my hair transplant in Idealofmed clinic last December 2023. I was taking cared of the staff, the doctor, nurses, technicians and interpreter. I was explained everything my procedure and they did a good job for my hair. The injections of anaesthesia was not that bad this time (this was my second) since they have a new machine first to use before injections was done, I didn’t experience a lot of pain this time which was a relieved. But overall the experience I had this time was great and I couldn’t complain about it. From start to finish I was being look after. Thank you for the service and care you have done to me.

A few weeks ago, I went to Istanbul and had my first hair transplant done at IdealofMed. I want to start off and say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. A friend had recommended them to me after he had his hair transplant last year with them. I got in contact with them and right away they were able to answer any questions I had, not forcing me or pressuring me to get a hair transplant, but rather helping me understand everything before making a final decision which I greatly appreciate. I began my consultation with an IdealofMed rep by name of Fatih who was extremely communicative and made sure I understood everything. I sent my photos to him in order for the doctors and nurses to analyze what could be done. They got back to me with a good proposal about a week later and I instantly set a date for my operation. They were able to take care of everything for me regarding hotel and transportation. All I had to do was buy my ticket and let them know the flight information so they could coordinate everything. This was helpful because it took off any responsibility and stress and made my process seamless. All I had to do was get there! Upon arrival, I was greeted with IdealofMed Mercedes transportation van that brought me to the hotel. The drivers were so nice to me and treated me so well. Eddy was the driver who picked me. He had water and snacks available for me when I entered the van. Onur was the driver who brought me back to the Istanbul airport on my final day to go back home after my operation. He does his job so well, and we had great conversations. Regarding the hotel, it was clean and well managed. I was treated well by the staff. On my first night I needed to charge my phone but I did not have an adapter since the outlets are different in the USA. But this wasn’t a problem because the hotel gave me one for free. The breakfast at the hotel was so delicious and really filled me up before my operation. They recommend you eat well before the transplant and it is not hard to do that when the food is so good and fresh! On the day of operation, I was greeted by a lovely young lady by the name of Nura. She was the translator between me and the hospital staff. She was so friendly and very bright and made sure I was comfortable through the whole process. The hospital was extremely friendly as well. They kept the hospital and operation area very clean. The whole procedure did not feel rushed, but rather they took their time to make sure everything was done well and properly. From the way my hairline was drawn to extracting and implanting the grafts, the showed real craftsmanship to make sure the final product would be natural and full! This is one thing I appreciate from the team at IdealofMed. Their aim is to make everything look good and natural. This is what you want. You don’t want something rushed, something poorly done, or something that does not match your face type or head shape. You want what’s going to make you look good. You want your Ideal YOU! The operation took about 6 hours but they checked up on me throughout the whole process making sure I was ok and that my blood pressure was at a right level. After my operation, I was blown away by the way it was done. Yes, it was not hair yet obviously because of the scabs and grafts, but it looked so full! When I went back to the hotel, other guys were there who had done their operation, and their heads did not look like mine. Mine looked fuller than theirs. One even commented and said that my head already looked so full and dense! After my operation, IdealofMed also provided me with the medication to recover. They did not just provide medication for one, two, or three days. But for a whole month! And it was good medication that helped me feel ZERO pain after the procedure. I was able to speak to another guy at the Istanbul airport who got his done somewhere else, and his hospital did not even provide him with enough medicine let alone medicine that was strong enough. He had to get his own at a pharmacy. What an inconvenience! But IdealofMed gave me what I needed and the right amount to make sure I was taken care of and ready to recover properly. They also provided detailed instructions to follow for the first month of recovery for the medication process and head washing process. Once I removed my scabs about a week later, I was blown away by the hair that was already on my head. I had a full head of hair already! The hairline looked so natural and so good. Mind you this is not even the final result yet so I cannot wait to see what my hair looks like a year later! I have already received compliments. One friend even mentioned someone who went and had their hair transplant done in Florida, but said his did not look full or natural like mine. Getting my hair transplant at IdealofMed was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I can't wait for the final result!

When I got in contact with IdealofMed, Cem Mir wrote me a message. He was answering all my questions and told me about the HT procedure. We talked about my hair situation and we decided the best option for myself . He was really great. I got good information. Hes fluent in swedish too👌and he answered really fast. Cem Mir told me that the only thing I had to worry about was to get the flight tickets to Turkey, they would fix everything else. And how right he was!👌 They picked me up at the airport. Drove me everywhere I had to go, hotel-hospital back and forth and so on. When they picked me up next morning after my arrival I got Nora as my translator and guide through everything. She was great and caring. Guided me through every step, checked up on me through the HT and after. Gave me good information about the aftercare. Great service. Did her part really good👌 The technicians that did the HT did a great job. I felt comfortable through everything.🙌 I even fell asleep for a while! The drivers were always on time and really friendly. I did 2900 grafts with the FUE/DHI combo. Standard package. I got vitamins, painkillers and so on to bring back home. I was there for 3 nights and went back to Sweden. They check up on you afterwards. You get to download an app to send in pictures every 3rd day If I remember it right. The app reminds you about what pill to take at what hour. Made it easy to remember. And they give you advice what to think about. If you have any questions they'll answer you fast. I've probably missed some parts but all and all, great experiance and great service from all parts of the procedure. I did my HT 26th of Oktober. It's healing up and new hairs are already showing here and there. I would without a doubt recommend IdealofMed 👌

From the start communication was quick with my contact person Emre. Throw the whole experience Emre was friendly and helpful and made me feel like i was in good hands.

My first trip to Turkey was beginning of summer. In my first trip I underwent a sinus lift and 3 implants were installed. The clinic is clean and modern. The dentist lady was very professional and also removed my last wisdom tooth just like that. My contact person Emre gave me all the needed medication and instructed me carefully how and when to take them. Recovery was quite fast, and I did not face any setback in healing. While I was back in home, I was always able to reach Emre whenever I had any questions.

After 5 months I returned to Istanbul. During this time I was staying again in Sheraton City Center hotel which was very nice. Hotel is a decent walk away from Taksim, but there is also free shuttle service from the hotel.

Transport to/from airport/clinic worked very well. I was always informed precisely what time driver will come and pick me up. Drivers were nice, the ride felt safe, and drivers always made sure everything was fine with you. There were always water bottles available in the car. One of them did not speak any English, but he used the google translator, so we were able to communicate.

On my second visit I finally got my teeth. First the final teeth were supposed to install on Monday, but the day moved to Tuesday which was only day before my trip back home. Waiting with the temporary teeth was the most unpleasant moment of my trip.

On the day of installation, it was noticed that the bite was not correct. I was told that I needed to wait for three hours while the laboratory is fixing my teeth. Luckily it was warm and sunny day, so I did spend my time shopping near by the clinic. My contact person Emre was also able to get me appointment for wonderful facial treatment which was perfect way to spend some time while waiting.

Finally I was told that my teeth were ready to be installed. Before the installation dentist gave me injections on my lower jaw as he was going to perform two root canal treatments for me. After that my teeth were installed.

I was extremely mesmerized once I saw my new smile. Considering the starting point, the end result was incredibly beautiful. For the first few days I was facing slightly pain and I was eating still mostly soft food.

However, ones I did return back home I noticed that there were problems with the biting surface.
Teeth that were fixed because of the wrong bite during my installation day feel much more natural than the teeth on my other site. On the other site my teeth are missing all the natural looking lines and tiny shapes that biting surface of the teeth normally has, they are just completely smooth and this affects how you can use your teeth while eating.

To be honest, I feel bit silly that I did not notice this myself on the clinic after installation. At that point half of my face were still numb because of anesthetic spike and I was focusing too much on the overview. I blame myself for a bit not paying enough attention to the biting/chewing surface. However I still wonder why the dentist and his assistant did install these teeth for me as I’m quite sure they at least should have seen that these teeth were not obviously all done and they should have been returned to the laboratory.

I did contact my contact person Emre in this matter. He has been extremely understanding and supporting and has promised that my teeth will be fixed. I am grateful for that, but still bit disappointed as this will cost me some extra time, effort and money as I still need to return.

I wanted so badly to give five stars as most of this experience have been awesome, but unfortunately last setback left some room for improvement in the service.

For those who travel to Turkey for similar reasons: please make sure you will have few more days in Turkey after your teeth installation so you will have some time to make sure they work as they should.

I can recommend idealofmed 100 %. Very professionel Team and very good Support by fatih especially after the hairtransplantation, which is not common. If i have to do it again i would definetly go to idealofmed again.

Great communication prior to the operation by Cem (the consultant) with expectations managed and no question too difficult. The airport transfers were efficient and comfortable and the hospital was very enjoyable. The actual procedure was in a hospital (not a clinic) and had a good medical support team - very useful having a translator around at all times to ensure any information was communicated clearly. Aftercare has been great as well with the team (Fatih) being great at responding to any aftercare questions. Happy with the result so far (1 month) and looking forward to seeing it get better in the coming months

Great service from Ideal Of Med from start to finish. Pick up from airport was smooth. Once arrived at the clinic, had great care from Nora from the moment of arrival to leaving. Very clear with the communications about about the whole procedure and process. The operation team were very professional. After the initial injections, slept through the most of the operation. Post procedure care and instructions were thorough and clear, they are easy to follow. Transport to/from hotel/clinic/airport always on time from a friendly driver. Overall, a very positive experience and highly recommend.
