At idealista, we use both advanced technological detection systems and dedicated human moderation teams to identify and prevent fraudulent listings. Thanks to these measures, we are able to detect and block the vast majority of scam attempts before they ever become visible on the platform.

The small percentage of suspicious ads that may occasionally reach publication usually remain active for only a very short time before being removed by idealista. In those cases, we also inform users who interacted with the listing that it was identified as fraudulent.

We understand the importance of trust when searching for a home, which is why we continue working every day to further improve the security and reliability of our platform.

O tipo de contactos fraudulentos que referes não é realizado através dos sistemas oficiais do idealista, mas sim por terceiros que tentam fazer-se passar por plataformas ou empresas conhecidas para enganar utilizadores. O idealista nunca pede desbloqueios de conta, pagamentos ou dados bancários através de QR codes enviados por telefone, SMS, WhatsApp ou outras aplicações de mensagens.

No idealista dispomos de um formulário de contacto que pode ser utilizado para reportar estas situações. Todos os contactos recebidos são analisados com a maior atenção pela nossa equipa.

At idealista, we take reports of fraudulent activity very seriously and continuously work to detect and remove suspicious adverts as quickly as possible. However, unfortunately, scammers increasingly use sophisticated methods and external tools or platforms to try to deceive users.

We would also like to clarify that idealista does not have access to users’ passport data or identity verification processes carried out on third-party platforms.

Although idealista cannot be held responsible for transactions or agreements made outside the platform between private parties, we remain fully available to collaborate with the competent authorities if required as part of any investigation related to this case.

We strongly encourage users to avoid advance payments without prior verification and to follow the security recommendations available on the platform.

We do not operate as a real estate agency, do not have estate agents representing idealista, and do not intermediate property transactions between buyers, sellers, landlords or tenants.

Likewise, idealista does not request or manage payments related to property purchases or rentals.

The situation described appears to relate to the practices of an independent real estate agency. Even so, we take reports of inappropriate behaviour seriously and remain available to collaborate with the competent authorities if necessary.

Nous sommes désolés d’apprendre que vous n’avez pas obtenu de réponse concernant le bien qui vous intéressait. Nous souhaitons toutefois préciser qu’idealista est uniquement une plateforme de diffusion d’annonces immobilières et que les réponses aux demandes de contact dépendent directement des agences ou annonceurs responsables des biens publiés.

Concernant les alertes e-mail, celles-ci sont envoyées automatiquement uniquement aux utilisateurs qui ont activé ce service afin de recevoir de nouvelles annonces correspondant à leurs critères de recherche.

Nous prenons néanmoins ce type de retour au sérieux afin d’améliorer continuellement l’expérience des utilisateurs sur la plateforme.
