Just completed the drink driving course…
Just completed the drink driving course and it was a real eye opener. On completion, I came away with a wealth of knowledge that I was blissfully unaware of. I think that a LOT of drivers would benefit from such a comprehensive course.
Our trainer Sabrina was a real star and her delivery was truly non judgmental and professional, so thanks again to her! Thoroughly recommended to anyone who has been given the option to attend any of the various IAM Roadsmart courses

Nigel was excellent
Nigel was excellent in how he presented the course.
He made it as he was so interested which made us interested. There was no him and us situation. We were all a team. I wish him we on ongoing courses. He made us all ver much aware of alcohol and problems that comes with it.
Pity you could not invite people to take the course to take it as an education as it might reduce drink driving, deaths, injuries and extra pressure on the emergency service

Not being admitted on zoom,when you have correctly logged in.
Assessor not logging me in on zoom,when I had been waiting for 45 mins.Spoke to office,who rudely told me my course is cancelled & I will have to pay again,even tho I took screenshots & rang to explain.

Did not know what to expect at the…
Did not know what to expect at the beginning of day one but it has been extremely informative, educational and all the fellow participants were a truly great group of people. The facilitator Pete was very professional , knowledgeable and took us all step by step each session. The only negative I can say is that the " new" videos he showed were not very good IMHO however it was a new format so I would suggest IAMSmart do not include them going forward. For anyone who is taking the course in future then you will get out of it what you put in. Then take all you have
learned and move forward with your life in a positive frame of mind. Loads of help and support out there You can do it

Mature driver's assessment. Highly recommended!
I did this with 'Adam' recently in North Leeds. I was a little nervous as wanted to achieve the best rating. He soon put me at my ease and as we drove I did a commentary on hazards I saw and what I was thinking and anticipating. Got EXCELLENT on all categories, which was great. I'd recommend this to ANY age group. I'm 72 and will do it again in maybe 5 years or whenever I feel I may need it beforehand. Well worth the money!
The only disappointing thing is that these assessments are NOT recognised by Insurance companies. The response I got from Churchill was that IAMRS was a charity not an official organisation and the assessment was 'just someone's opinion'
