Our daughter was struggling with maths, we were concerned she may have to resit her gcse however she has just passed with a grade 5 which is beyond all our expectations!! Alexandra was fantastic, very supportive and really helped our daughter change how she felt about maths. Highly recommended if you have a child struggling to figure it all out!

Alexandra was intuitive, structured, analytical about my son’s strengths and weaknesses and she was able to inspire real confidence in him, something that was sorely lacking.

I found her via a word of mouth recommendation from a friend after my son failed his GCSE at school. My friend’s son had also passed once she did her magic.

My son liked her a lot, he used to avoid maths but never did with Alexandra. She gave him manageable tasks to complete in between lessons. She was flexible and supportive. He did one resit and passed. Amazing teacher, great communication and supported him to get the result he needed.

He’s never going to like maths, in fact when he passed he said ‘I never have to do maths again’ in joyous tones….. Thank you so much for your support Alexandra, he wouldn’t have got his GCSE without you ❤️

My son worked with Alexandra from January to June preceding his GCSE Maths exams. He got an incredible amount out of the sessions; two small group sessions each week.
He went from passing mocks with a 4 to a predicted 6-7 which is amazing progress, totally supported by Alexandra. I recommend her without hesitation.

I have participated in six Easter workshops organized by i2imaths, and I found them to be extremely beneficial in reinforcing the concepts. The explanations provided were very clear and included numerous examples. I particularly appreciated the individual attention given during the sessions, as well as the option to work in my own space at my own pace and level. It has resulted in my better understanding of the concepts and being able to tackle more complex questions with multi step solutions. Consequently, I have made the decision to continue my tuition with Alexandra until the conclusion of the GCSE exam season, as I believe this will assist me in achieving my predicted grade. John

Alexandra was recommended through a facebook enquiry for a maths tutor. My daughter has been having twice weekly sessions for over 6 months to prepare for GCSE exams. Although she hasn’t yet had any exams, her attitude towards maths and confidence have improved significantly. Alexandra has identified my daughter’s learning style and has helped her to understand concepts that she’s previously struggled with. We feel much more prepared for exam season. Would definitely recommend!

Alexandra tutored my daughter once weekly over the last 6ish months of year 11, taking her up to her gcse and it made all the difference. My daughter was predicted a 5 but had got a 4 in her October mock, which she was keen to improve on. With Alexandra’s kind, intelligent and clear guidance she understood so much more, had better exam technique and ‘maths sense’, resulting in a grade 7 Maths gcse, beyond expectation.

Alexandra has been an incredible teacher for both my children through their GCSE's. She made the classes interesting and engaging. Both my kids had had previously negative experiences with their maths teachers at their schools, and Alexandra totally transformed what had been a rather traumatic subject into my son's favourite subject. Alexandra was so caring and considerate. Working with them at their pace and constantly checking in on them and ensuring they understood. She has ensured both my children got their GCSE maths grade needed for college. And even more importantly she left them with a really positive learning experience. If only all teachers could be like Alexandra.

Alexandra has been transformative for our son and his GCSE maths. She supported his confidence and skill helping him achieve a grade 8 and now going on to study A-level her calm professional ongoing support and exam technique gave him confidence in other areas, it was incredibly helpful during the GCSE exam period in helping him manage his anxiety and achieved a the best of his potential. We found Alexandra through a recommendation. My son was struggling with Maths, which he hated. Getting him to do the 'dreaded Sparx maths homework' was a weekly battle. He started with Alexandra and after a. Few lessons uttered the words, 'I enjoyed that'. You could have blown me over with a feather. Enjoy your Maths were two words I did not think he would ever say in the same sentence.

He was quite behind as he had never quite understood work in class but the more he learnt the more he felt capable in class.

He worked with Alexandra for a couple of years and finally took his GCSE's this year and achieved a really secure pass. I really do not think he would have been in this position without Alexandras methods and support which built his confidence hugely and made him feel like he could do Maths. He even said he enjoyed school Maths lessons.

My son was stumbling a little, hadn't concentrated in class, done much revision (id describe him smart but a wee bit lazy) and was predicted a 4/5 based on his mocks. We began with Alexandra, she was super professional had a nice way with the kids-challenging, supportive, fun but really push for autonomous learning from the student. I didn't need to do anything. She did an assessment and saw where he needed further development, reviewed his mock papers and challenged those gaps in a targeted way. payment was slick everything was so professional - my son loved it and something switched on in him life it hadn't before. he went up 1-2 grades in a few months. He would say the same himself - he is thinking of A level maths now and i don't believe this would be the case if hadn't found Alexandra. My son made up a small online group for four of his friends and this made it affordable for me as a single mum, we also we lucky get get some 1:1 to work on things that he struggled with right before the exams. Alexandra was invested in the kids, rights behind them, interested and took them and their futures seriously. Cannot recommend i2imaths more highly. One very happy mum Olivia
