Spoke with Rian in new car sales very helpful and knowledgeable, great to deal with. Found a car locally so have gone with a different dealership but would highly recommend.

Worst customer service and costly experience.

Booked for MOT. Car dropped off 8.30am and I had to chase them for information 3.40pm. I told them that AA told me why engine light was on and it needed minor replacement part. They kept car all day then told me it’s failed. Wanted £140 just to check what’s wrong when I’ve told them. Gave them AA report information. They wasted my whole day ! I could have done these repairs elsewhere .

My first experience with Hyundai Birmingham West

My first experience with Hyundai Birmingham West after servicing my car was extremely disappointing -

The courtesy car was filthy (dust, sweets in seats, old tissues/rags in pockets, dirty carpets), not washed and parked off-site with no guidance.

My own car wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed after service - I was told there was no access to these basic facilities. I asked, “What, a vacuum cleaner?”

Staff offered no guidance or help, including operating the electric Ioniq courtesy car - I had to figure it out myself.

They tried to upsell me an air-con filter for my 12-month-old car as part of the service. I was told by Motor Mobility that a one-year-old car didn’t need one, I refused it.

No communication when my car was ready - only a single text, no phone call.

Looking at other reviews, it’s clear this is a pattern - 71% of customers report poor service. Very unprofessional for a main Hyundai dealer.

I've been a customer here for 20 years…

I've been a customer here for 20 years and just purchased my 5th car. I've always had outstanding service from the dealership without any sales pressure, which is why I keep coming back. My purchases have always been used car sales. I've just bought my Tucson from Ben who is new to the dealership. He was friendly and supportive and thorough. It made buying my car so easy and pain free.

After Sales Experience


I initially had a great experience buying my car from here. The sales team were helpful and professional. However, everything that followed has been incredibly disappointing. From faulty parts, no communication to booking issues and leaving my car in a substandard condition. Altogether, a chaotic and frustrating experience that doesn’t reflect the professionalism I expected from a dealership.

AVOID!!

AVOID!!!
Brought a brand new car and was told it came with a 3 year free servicing plan. When I came to book the car in I was told this was not the case. Completely lied to.
The sales manager Lee took over 6 weeks to call me back to even speak to me (heard every excuse under the sun including his own staff never passed on the messages). When I eventually spoke to him he had zero customer service skills.
I was also lied to by Gemma in Servicing who said all both the staff who sold me the car had left - they hadnt. The sales man still works there because I went and spoke to him myself. Also found out the car should have had a recall - I received no notifications and to date this fault has still not been rectified.
If you want to be ripped off to the tune of thousands then fill your boots.... My advice - avoid like the plague!

Purchased a car from this company last…

Purchased a car from this company last year when the Mor was due they invited me to take it I had a service and Mot which it failed they quoted 426 pound saying back box needed replacing and bearings which was correct , I took it too my local garage they did another MOT saying back box was fine replaced bearings I paid 350 and it passed MOT Beware !

BEWARE.

BEWARE.. bought a trade car that wasnt cleaned and when I got it home and cleaned it, it had halestone marks all over it. This will cost over £2000 to put right and the garage said sold as seen even though they forgot to mention it in the description.....
