Update on my previous review of AI Bootcamp

I believe in giving honest feedback — both when things go wrong and when they are handled well.

After my earlier review, the Hyperskill team reached out to me promptly and took my concerns seriously. We had constructive discussions, and I’m happy to share that we’ve reached a resolution I’m genuinely satisfied with.

Here’s what they’ve done:

- Extended my platform access for an additional 1 year to ensure I can fully benefit from the program
- Arranged a direct session with an AI engineer to help map out a focused learning path tailored to my goals
- Clarified the certification path — I will receive the full certificate upon completing the required projects
- Acknowledged that the AI field is rapidly evolving, which influenced their broader curriculum approach

What stands out to me is their willingness to listen, engage, and improve the experience rather than dismiss feedback.

While my initial experience had challenges, I appreciate how professionally they handled the situation and worked toward a meaningful resolution.

This update is important because it reflects the full picture — not just the frustration, but also the response and accountability.

If you're considering the program, I’d say this: ask questions, be clear about your goals — and know that the team is responsive when issues are raised.

Credit where it’s due.

I paid for one year, now after 2 months I can say it is not worth it. They make the questions like that on purpose so you would buy the monthly / yearly subscription.

Doing the python course and it is mainly just randomly organized theory that has no proper connection to each other. Theory doesn't even cover for everything you get asked, so you still need to google.

Projects on the other hand are even more annoying. You start doing it, then it throws you to theory you need to know, which is good, but that part you cannot finish as you do not have knowledge of the previous ones.

I did basic university coding course and it was so much better. More practical use cases, not just all theory.

Organize it better, give projects a meaning to theory. Go with mastery learning method not randomly jumping.

Projects are horrible, they say basic stuff but wants you to learn state-machines as second project without explaining what those are or even give enough theory to cover it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Content is OK, tool integration is a disaster!

I have no objections regarding the training content, but I strongly dislike the company’s policy on granting licenses for their products. Among the incentives for purchasing a Premium subscription is the promise of licenses for JetBrains products. In practice, it works like this: after completing a few tasks, you receive a code that you can use to purchase the All Product Pack. However, this purchase is only for one month, with auto-renewal enabled by default. If you don’t notice this and don’t disable the auto-renewal, your account will be charged after a month.

As you can see, it’s not enough for the company that you’ve bought a Premium subscription on Hyperskill — they look for other ways to get more money out of your pocket. I am currently in a situation where I requested a refund for the subscription, but it was denied, even though I submitted the request the day after my account was charged and I hadn’t used the product during that time. I do not recommend working with this company — their mentality is clear to see. A very underhanded move.

I think it is great for what Hyperskill gives you. Learning or reviewing about programming (for my experience it has been Kotlin). However, I think it would be great to allow users to do one project free (some ads could be used). Project-based practice is really key motivator to people proceeded on with the practice. Otherwise, the information is provided in a easy to digest manner. You don't get too much too fast.

Great product, especially for beginners. If you have some experience with another language, you can test to skip some of the basics.

The perfectly sized portion of information delivered by each lesson is really great. One can gain skills using this app anywhere and everywhere, on the bus, on the train or waiting in a queue. Keep up the good work; only suggestion is it would be great if one can have more lives in the tests. Thanks a lot for the hardwork you do in maintainimg and expanding this app.

What a fantastic platform for programming learning!However,I have found some bugs when I was using it.For instance,when I submitted my answer which is absolutely correct,the feedback is an error.And it will be better if there is answer after some false trials.Hope the platform become more powerful and popular!

My experience with Hyperskill has been nothing short of transformative. The platform’s project-based approach is what sets it apart, allowing learners to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Progressively moving from basic concepts to advanced topics.
Hyperskill does a great job of integrating gamification elements such as achievements and progress tracking, which keep learners motivated throughout their journey.
If there is one area for improvement, it would be to expand the range of projects and include more industry scenarios.

It’s a great platform to really dive into the tech skills I’ve been wanting to master. I use it as a supplement to my MS in Data Science and can’t be happier with the quality.

I have a small experience with the Hyperskill learning because I have started only with "Introduction to Django". In this case the software tool to learn it for me was very good and I am going to learn other topics as well (started with WebStorm for JacaScript)

Even through the slightly buggy learning interface, courses they provide quit valuable. Some content is boring but it is probably a side effect of the study field.

I searched for a credible specialist to help upgrade my resume, as the IT sector has evolved and the old version no longer works effectively. The JetBrains reference to Hyperskill was spot on.

In addition to improving the resume format and correcting the automatic filter, I found answers to how to properly explain gaps due to due to external circumstances, self-development during nonemployment, better coverage of successful experience, adjusting the focus on the storngest stack, emphasizing strengths and projects from a position of success, and corporate culture issues when choosing a company.

With the help of experts, I was able to dispel many doubts about my own experience and find a balance between a frank resume and a formal resume.
