Web Windows - the solution to your social media headaches!
We were given a concise overview of how they could help us with our social media prior to starting work with WebWindows and after signing up with them it was great that they took the time to really get to know us (including 2 on-site meetings). The team are social media 'gurus' and nothing is too much trouble. They have some amazing and quirky ideas that really work. I would not hesitate in recommending their services.

Being online marketing novices, we were very pleased to have been recommended a digital agency who spoke plain English and gave us choices in such a straight forward manner. We have been able to run very effective retargeting campaigns, which were very affordable and kept our brand in front of prospective customers. Over a dozen successfully campaigns. Highly recommended.
We have been using Web Windows for over two years, starting initially by running online display campaigns on some of the largest news websites. From there we have progressed into some more sophisticated targeting, which helps a reach specialist audience. I have always found their advice sound and impartial. A good agency to work with.

Don't waste your money
They contacted us selling a late available space in a magazine for a specific date. We agreed to purchase on the basis that it would be advertised on the date offered. However 2 weeks after the publication came out, we checked and found NO ADVERT HAD BEEN PLACED. Phoned them up and they said it had been advertised, however when I told them I had checked the magazine, they went all sheepish. Requested a refund, however they have refused, saying its not their fault!!! You have been warned.

It's always very disappointing to read a one star review, particularly as we always try to give the best possible customer service. I have investigated the issue as a matter of priority. It would appear that you booked the ad space into a monthly publication but you were unable to supply the copy in time. Your advertisement was moved to the following month and when the magazine is published we will endeavour to send you a copy.
With hindsight I think we should have let you know we couldn't extend the copy deadline; unfortunately the presses stop for no one. On reflection you will still benefit from your advertisement reaching 1.4 million readers for a fraction of the rate card price. We feel that a full refund cannot be justified as you were informed of the copy deadline and that the advertisement will be published.
If you would like to contact me via the phone number on our website I will arrange for an additional ad banner campaign to run on the magazine's website at no extra charge.
Excellent - on top of their game
Web windows are a great fit for us, they offer a broad range of affordable services covering SEO and online promotion. The easy to understand reporting provides an insight to the work being carried out, and it makes a refreshing change to work with an SEO agency who pro-actively chase us for the info they need so they can do their job properly.

So they were commissioned to do SEO on my website which all appeared fine at first, after 3 months though no where near page 1 so I sacked them.
Very disappointed to say the least after 3 months nothing on page 1.
There is no fluff reply that can justify no results after spending £600+VAT.
Despite your explanation below, I never received advice I can find on dup content ("internal duplicate content issues") and would I use Web Windows again?, no never. It for me was a waste of money. This conversation is ended and that means no phone calls again or emails to me.

My name is Paul, and I’m the Senior SEO Consultant at Web Windows. I was very disheartened to read your one star review. It is important however to receive this kind of feedback as it allows us investigate possible mistakes and make changes for the better.
Firstly, it is in the client’s interests that we have a minimum contract term of six months. My 14 years of SEO experience has taught us that it can take at least six months to achieve desired results. Web Windows never makes guarantees on when these results will happen, as it is all determined by how competitive the phrases for the industry are and the quality of the website.
Secondly, it is not entirely accurate to say you spent £1000, as you did not. You signed up for a 10 key phrase package for £150 per month for four months. I have checked with our accounts department and you have only been charged £600 + VAT.
As you have pointed out, the results for the first three months were improving. This shows how results can change and why it is so important to do regular monitoring. Unfortunately, it also requires a lot of patience; SEO isn’t a few months’ process. It is long term, on going and requires strong communication between the client and the company offering SEO.
I genuinely feel that we were on track with your work and moving forward in the right direction, however we pointed out to you there were serious issues with your website. On 11th May we emailed a detailed report highlighting some key concerns. In particular duplicate content from other websites which is something that Google takes a very dim view of. Let me know if you'd like the report resent. Our SEO engineers asked you to remove the internal duplicate content issues as Google takes this very seriously and this was not done, along with some other issues such as site speed and header tags etc. These issues were still outstanding when the contract was terminated. When it comes to on-page SEO, clients must be prepared to invest the necessary “sweat equity” in order to achieve the best results.
Regrettably, since ending our contract your results have dropped drastically. We are prepared to offer you a free month’s worth of help to help make up for the recent fall in rankings since the contract has finished.
Web Windows is very proud of the standard of our SEO work and we have built up a client base of hundreds of satisfied clients, who are not only on page 1 of Google but also number 1.
If on reflection you would like us to resume the work, please feel free to contact me.
Terrible value for money, hard sales, won't be using them again
We were promised 150,000 impressions for our website staffsquared.com, and the one way this company did overperform is that we had in excess of 200,000 impressions according to their reports.
Unfortunately this did not convert to click throughs, as despite our ad receiving 200k impressions we had a mere 15 clicks. This is a click through rate of 0.000075...the lowest I've ever seen.
I know that the quality of our adverts is fine as when we've advertised elsewhere we've had click throughs of between 2 - 5%. We were also told (verbally only unfortunately) that our click through rate would be in keeping with industry averages. Clearly this isn't the case.
I would not recommend wasting your money here. I also reckon that some of the other reviews on this page are not legit...but I can't prove that either way so do your own homework.

While I firmly believe that the rates we offer for the services we provide are very competitive, I do apologise if you felt that we were adopting a “hard sales” approach. This is generally not our style; rather we aim to be more consultative and offer expert advice based on our extensive digital knowledge.
I am more concerned about the poor performance of your campaign. I can see that our technical team tried to provide you with a higher number of site visitors by increasing your banner numbers. We increased the number of impressions by a third, and we covered the extra cost ourselves.
Over the past three weeks since you posted this review we have had a multiple internal meetings to discuss how this scenario can be avoided in future. It would seem that the poor performance of your campaign could have been rectified if we had found out about your concerns much earlier. Online advertising is a very fluid thing, and if remedial action can be taken as soon as it is the under performance is discovered a campaign can often be tweaked and strategies can be changed.
In order to help with this in the future we have now appointed a Results Manger whose role is to speak to every new client at the end of the campaign’s first week. This is not a sales position; the role has been designed purely to look at the first batch of automated reports and discuss with the client how they feel the campaign is performing. It is now the responsibility of the Results Manager to determine further strategies to get the best response from the established budget. While we are disappointed that you did not receive the benefits of this new role, your experience and feedback has made us improve as an organisation. I want you to know that we took your complaint seriously, and I feel that had we had this system in place two months ago we would have retained you as a regular client.
As you know, I have phoned and emailed you offering to run your campaign again free of charge. We’ve invested heavily in a new platform that can offer a far superior way of targeting for your specialist B2B market. Our Results Manager is standing by, so please do get back in touch so that we can proceed with a second campaign and exceed your expectations.
Again, please do accept my sincerest apologies for your under performing campaign. I look forward to helping you again in the future.

I am a person who deals only in positives. My requirements are simple and are well met by my representative. When she is not available other members of the team, are able to act for her, and when other members of the team, notify me before Jodie, there is always a smooth interface to get the job completed. If I have doubts over title choices I am able to debate my choices without being sold to which is appreciated.

Friendly but uninformative
As a recipient of their SPAM, I was not particularly happy. They were very quick to offer to remove my email address, but unwilling or unable to tell me where they got it in the first place.
I happen to use custom email addresses for every business/group I deal with, so know that this email address was harvested from an online forum.
The contact on web chat could only suggest I "contact the person who emailed me". I tried the phone number in the email and got WW again.
I do feel that if it's their name plastered all over the email, and them answering the phones, they should take some responsibility for where they obtain email addresses from.
