Hudson Belle is definitely my favourite shop in the Piece Hall, I struggle to go into Halifax without popping in.
The shop is beautifully set up, with gorgeous gifts that are classy and imaginative, clearly a lot of care and attention goes into the selection of them, I always come away with something.

A beautifully curated shop with new ‘treasures’ arriving weekly. The shop has a wide range of homeware, gifts and even some clothing. There’s cards, candles, pictures, pottery and more and often a gorgeous resident pooch for fusses.

It’s my go to place for treats for myself and gifts for others.

Situated in the historic Piece Hall be sure to visit here and then head to some of the other traders too.

Visited this shop on a couple of occasions although we have to travel a fair way to get there. A lovely shop with some excellent quality gifts. We have purchased 3 of the Sid Dickens memory blocks. We already have some which we purchased way back in 2006 and we love them. Our choice of blocks had to be ordered from Vancouver and Lou from Hudson Belle posted them out to us at a later date. The packaging was superbly done, no risk of damage to the item. If you go to Piece Hall you must call in here.

I love this shop, Lou is always genuinely very helpful, and the Sid Dickens memory blocks are (unfortunately) irresistible! Always great service and a pleasure to shop here. I will be increasing my collection and always with the helpful suggestions from Lou.

Hudson Belle has opened a new shop! It’s bigger and better than before. It has a classy feel and there is an excellent choice of beautiful, quirky and original gifts. The Sid Dickens Memory Blocks are displayed beautifully and yes, I did buy one - this is my sixth. They make the most special of gifts and I love how unique each one is. If you are lucky enough to be served by Lou the owner, her knowledge of the memory blocks, their origin, creation and relevance to any life event is impressive. Do not leave the Piece Hall withou visiting this gorgeous shop x

I've shopped for various gifts at Hudson Belle over the last year. The range is always really lovely with unusual pieces and is my go to place in Halifax for gifts. I'm looking forward to seeing their new larger shop space on the other side of the Piece Hall.

Lou is a superstar! She really does move mountains to get what you want and provides a fantastic service. I am on south coast so sadly I have to deal with her and her lovely shop at arms length. Nobody could be more helpful!

What a fantastic company to deal with! Lou could not have been more helpful or friendly. I pre ordered two SD memory blocks from the new fall collection, one of them intended as a birthday present. I knew they were coming from Canada and wouldn't be here in time, so Lou made a wonderful laminated card featuring a photo of the block and sent it in a lovely black envelope with a lace ribbon so the recipient had something to open on the day. The blocks have now arrived and they are just stunning; little pink flying pigs with beautiful gold wings. There are very few places in the UK that sells Sid Dickens and I cannot recommend Lou and Hudson Belle highly enough. Nothing is too much trouble; a fantastic customer experience.

I bought my first Sid Dickens Memory Block from Hudson Belle its awesome - it arrived yesterday along with the beautiful Bee Door Knocker . They surpassed my expectations !
