One Star - Avoid This Company
I honestly regret hiring this gardening company. Despite their claim of 30 years' experience, the work done was careless and unprofessional from start to finish.
The tiles were laid too high, nearly covering the wall vents, and worse—they slope towards the house instead of away from it. This means water will drain into the property, potentially causing serious long-term damage. Because of this mistake, all the tiling work now needs to be redone to correct the slope and lower the level.
Several tiles are also visibly misaligned. It looks rushed and uneven.
The fence was a mess. Screws are missing in several places, and the ones they did put in are bent because they didn’t drill straight—or bother with pilot holes. You wouldn’t expect that from supposed professionals.
Our neighbours even complained that the workers were urinating in the street, even though we let them use our toilet.
When I pointed out faulty boards, they just flipped them around thinking I wouldn’t notice. That says a lot about their approach to fixing problems.
Bert promised to come back and make it right, but by then I had lost all confidence in their work. I told him I didn’t trust them anymore, and he ended up giving me some money back so I could hire someone else.
Save yourself the money, stress, and disappointment. Maybe they’re okay for tiny jobs, but if you want quality work and basic professionalism, look elsewhere.
