I’ve been a loyal customer with Hosten for some time, but today’s experience was absolutely unacceptable. I reached out to them immediately after noticing an unexpected auto-charge on my account — a transaction that happened just minutes before I contacted them. Despite the timing, they refused to refund it.

What made things worse was the dishonesty and wordplay from customer service. I was told I was speaking to a “manager,” only to realize this person was operating remotely and giving me runarounds rather than real support. It felt like a deliberate attempt to confuse and avoid responsibility.

I’m genuinely disgusted by how this was handled. As someone who trusted their services, this experience has completely changed my view of the company. I’ll be making it a point to educate others about these kinds of practices so people can make informed choices before signing up. There is not reply to the service but piece of advice Teacher customer service not to lie to keep people entertain while they’re trying to do the work.

Amazing Customer Service provided by human.

I have been using Hostens for long time. The services may fit or not your needs in terms of technology, but they have a lot of options and offer many resources such as e-mails panels and other easy auto installers for some cloud software, at a very reasonable price.
Regarding the customer service, it is the best I have seen in any of the Hosting Providers, with friendly people (no bots) who will help you even on a Sunday before 5 minutes.
Dmitrij did a great job helping with a suspended account I had.

Disappointed with Hidden Limits and Poor Support

I recently purchased shared hosting from Hostens, thinking the 10GB disk space would be more than enough for my needs. I’ve only used around 2GB, but now I can't upload more files due to an unexpected inode limit capped at 100,000. This inode restriction was never mentioned upfront when I paid for the plan.

When I contacted support to request an increase in the inode limit, I was met with a rude response telling me to upgrade my plan. This was disappointing, especially because I’m only using less than 20% of my allocated disk space! Hostens is enforcing a custom rule that severely limits how customers can use the space they’ve paid for, which feels misleading and unfair.

If they’d disclosed this inode restriction before I signed up, I would have looked elsewhere. Hidden limits like this should be clearly stated upfront. Hostens needs to work on transparency with their customers and improve the professionalism of their support team.

Right now, I’m left with a hosting plan that isn’t functional for my needs unless I pay even more to upgrade. Very frustrating and definitely not the experience I was hoping for. I wouldn’t recommend this service unless you’re prepared to face limitations that aren’t made clear until after you’ve paid.

1) delete some files from the package, for example, unnecessary files or emails from the Email Inbox;
