We have been with them for 11 years and all was OK until the las two years.
This year we had our site down for two weeks on one occasion then is went down completely. They claim RAID stack had failed and no way to recover the data because backup has failed as well. It is an impossible event.

We have been going up and had lots of traffic. I have strong suspicion they took money from the competition to shut us down.

We have already switched the host, but a huge, popular, unique technical data from the forum have been lost irreversibly

It is just a criminal organization. They should not be allowed to operate

I used HostDime for licences a few years ago. For the purpose, they seemed to be okay. However, it appears now that they don't have their cPanel offerings, they accept money from criminals. Their network is rampant with malicious activity including (but not limited to) hacking, phishing, and spamming.

While nefarious users will always try to use legitimate service providers, HostDime fails to respond to abuse requests at all and allows malicious activity to continue even with evidence presented.

It is unfortunate to see a company that I once seen as reliable and responsible turn to allowing malicious actors to use their services for illegal purposes without any action. I hope they change their policy and start enforcing their terms of service at some point in the future.

Money Money Money

I was a customer for over 10 years back when manny had an active role, but was forced to jump ship this month.

Double the charges for reseller accounts and blames cpanel, Double bills, customer accounts suspended and late payment charges that were waived and then reapplied,

Then to top it off they make treats and try to pass accounts to collections department when they finally push you away.

What a joke of a company who has lost their way.

In the process of getting my customers moved away from these cowboys.

im with HostDime & Surpass from 6 years previous years this company is too much good but now really we are losses our 80% hosting business due to insecure server hacking issues too much spamming and last time this company support said us we will fine you 200$ if we recevied more spamming, i have snaps we lost our all premium clients due to horrible services

We decided to lease our firewall from them after we had problems with ours. We were told they had it in stock and that they would configure it and get it installed right away. They did not have it in stock after all and had to order it. The CTO, Ray F., emailed us to confirm receipt of the Firewall on Thursday morning and advised that the initial configuration was in progress and to expect completion by the next day. He was reassuring but nothing has happened since. Our customers are totally frustrated at us. We would have replaced the firewall ourselves last week but instead relied on representations by Hostdime that they would take care of it for us with the leased/managed equipment.

I was with this company for over 10 years, it was excellent and last year or so I have a horrible experienced with them, servers are down for many hours and many days on the same month, and they close down their online tech support when ever there's a problem. I have lost 4 important clients because of their absolutely poor service. I am in the process of changing the hosting company, Do not recommend for anyone, stay away.. Disaster

This company has completely gone down hill in the past year. Repeated, extended, unexplained service outages combined with a support department that is uncommunicative and unhelpful. My firm is now looking for an alternative hosting service - definitely stay away!!!!

I was with them for over 10 years. Used to be an excellent company. They have continued to raise their prices and lower their support year over year. I'm trying now to get my last website off of them. Out of no where they kicked me to self managed and still trying to charge me $220/month....for a simple wordpress site! Run away. So many options out there much cheaper and better support. We had a large ecommerce site with them too. Our site was so slow at loading and had so many issues with going down. We migrated to a new host company and it all magically went away. Hostdime was the problem...not our website.

Les comparto mi experiencia.

Hace mas de 10 años que trabajo con Hostdime. Al principio era la mejor empresa de hosting. Servidores que andaban muy bien, planes económicos, servicio de atención al cliente castellano / inglés inigualable. Nada de que quejarme.

Con el tiempo todo eso fue cambiando. Empezaron a sobrecargar los hosting compartidos con muchas cuentas. Como se colgaban a cada rato los servidores empezaron a poner muchísimas restricciones, cantidad de archivos, cantidad de mails, restricciones de memoria, de espacio, de procesos,... de todo.

También comenzaron a ponerse muy estrictos con el dinero... tres días para pagar, sino te multan y hasta te suspenden el servicio.

Empecé pagando 15 dólares y hoy pago 55 por un pequeño plan reseller. En otras compañías ofrecen por ese importe un VPS en cambio aquí solo una cuenta compartida.

Un año atrás, tuve un problema con el WHMCS (soft de administración) que borró por error varias cuentas. Hostdime teníendo el backup de las mismas no quiso recuperarlas. Me vendía por 20 dólares cada cuenta restaurada.

Les suplique que fue un error del whmcs y que por favor necesitaba que restauren el backup porque había muchas empresas que no podían trabajar, a lo que contestaban que era una actividad con costo cuando todos los Hostings de precio elevado como Hostdime realizan el backup automático y restauración de la copia sin cargo.

Esa es mi experiencia. Ojalá que les sirva.

I have been a customer for many years but I have noticed they have progressively went down hill. It started at the time they increased all their domain renewal costs above market rate. Recently they increased my hosting plan by 225% from one month to the next. They had sent me one email hidden amongst the many I receive from them and for them that was all they needed to do. I had to cancel and they wouldn't refund the difference. Just be aware they will charge you what they want.
