I've distributed four songs with Horus Music, and I highly recommend them! This was my first time distributing music, and Emily has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions. She responds quickly and thoroughly, and this customer service is what's kept me coming back to work with them. Their platform is easy to use/understand, and my songs show up on Spotify and other sites for pre-saves a day or two after submitting them. Thank you, Emily and Horus Music!

I have had the most proactive, cooperative, understanding and friendly experience with Horus music. Chandrika has been my POC from day one, and she has been an absolute darling. I have had absolutely no problems with any of my releases to date. She has always been available for all my queries and has managed to bring out a positive outcome. Her outstanding customer service has compelled me and got me addicted to being a loyal customer of Horus Music. Also last but not least Horus has always been a reliable brand name for Artists and ZEMA Music is glad to be a part of it too.

Horus is incredible, what more can I say. I researched close to 40 distribution companies before choosing Horus, who came out so far ahead of the pack. Their team truly cares about the music they distribute. Once, I received an email from one of their staff to confirm that the silence at the end of one of my tracks was intentional. I can't begin to imagine one of their competitors having the care let alone the bandwidth to listen personally to each release and be that attentive to make sure it is received properly by DSPs and music stores. I've recommended their service personally to every artist or producer whose asked for my advice on distribution. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

Hi everyone, I signed up with Horus Music towards end of last year to start getting my music out there on major platforms like Spotify, just wanted to leave some feedback on my experience so far.

Cannot praise this distributor highly enough - can only say if you're a creator/musician thinking about putting your music out and debating over which distributor to go with, don't waste any more time on it, just go with Horus - you won't regret it. Their artist yearly package is very good value for unlimited releases, but - most of all - you will save so much precious time and effort, as any and every query will actually get answered - in detail , and very promptly, by a real representative who really knows their stuff.

Just to clarify, I'm not affiliated with or working for Horus(!) even it sounds like it! I'm just a DIY home recording artist who is very glad he chose them to go with. It turns out there are a LOT of things to deal with when submitting your first release - much more than I realised; I had many, many questions, and would have been lost if my distributor was like those you hear so much about - who are impossible to contact, or take an age to respond to queries, if they ever do (!) . I encountered many issues - a big one with my submitted audio, and also with metadata requirtements, getting artist access on Spotify etc. I was very, very lucky that it was Rosa who responded (super quickly) to my initial queries, and continued to do so, dealing with each query patiently, painstakingly and courteously , point by point - explaining everything clearly, resolving all issues quickly. She is a legend - superb at her job, and really makes you feel reassured that Horus has your back. I've read a lot of horror stories online about musicians having massive troubles with other distributors, and really feel like I dodged a bullet there(!)

I'm leaving a review here on trustpilot, and I have to say, one of the things that persuaded me to take a chance on Horus was the volume of positive reviews from other users on here, and especially how frequently people were mentioning their representative/contact by name, and in glowing terms. I'm sure I saw Rosa mentioned in this way several times, and I'm not surprised, she really has gone the extra mile right from day one; Rosa, its much appreciated - sincere thanks. I feel I can actually concentrate on the music, knowing that I'm in safe hands, when it comes to all the other stuff! If you choose music, choose Horus.

This is Terrible Service. No support on fake streaming if you come over a promoter on your music. Horus like to take Annual fees, but when theres a problem they withdraw & take your money with out looking into it or trying to help you solve the issue, they just accuse you of being fraudulent or a scammer trying to cheat the system when they have no Evidence of this. What Evidence can you produce that Im a scammer or fraudulent ? All you know is that Spotify Flagged the Account over Artificial Streams, How do you know it was me who created the false stream? Im only purchasing the Promotion via the sellers on Fiverr.com

Horus seem to forget that as well as you pay your fees, some of us are promotion our Songs - Album which is where the streams came from & Spotify promotions are not cheap on Fiverr.com.

Emily who is the main Horus representative makes excuses that you are at Fault or you are the scammer if you are using a Third Party Company such as Fiverr.com to gain Spotify plays with no actual evidence linking me as any Fraudster.

Firstly Fiverr.com do not sell Spotify plays or views, it is against their Policy & against Spotifys Policy also they only sell promotions that can possibly Generate plays - views.

Emily closed my Account because Spotify had noticed Fake streams from one the sellers I used on the platform, however I have no direct relation to the sellers on fiverr.com so how can I be the fraudster or scammer as she puts it. It is the Buyers own Risk when you use this platform so i was unlucky & came over a scammer. Emily asked me to send Evidence of the promotions I had used which i sent her a Fiver.com link with all past promotions on the last 1 year, After that I never heard back from anyone & my case was swept under the carpet. There was no email from Spotify to me either about this, so it was all just Hear - Say or speculation from my end.

Emily i do not see the point in sending links regarding showing Evidence when you do not act on it. I sent you Valid Link with my paid promotions to Fiverr.com on November 9 last year, Your team did not reply & i have a statement by yourself Apologising for the delay which is on the first review i posted.

I do not know how you can Defame Artist for try to Blame them for promoting their material on third party websites which have nothing to do with them.

I have come over complaints here & you are making this excuse to them too or saying that they are not registered with your company Why would someone fabricate that they not registered with you? You need to be Stood down from your position. Just do your Job & look into situations before accusing Artists of being fraudulent before you accuse them instead of creating stories about your Clients. Im sure you would privacy policy somewhere about making false statements to your clients. I will be checking on this.

You obviously have no idea how Fiverr.com works, if you read their policy youll find they do not sell Spotify views or plays.

Yes of course all internet will have some scammer or promoter however has no link to my link name.

And if I become famous, I will be taking Legal Action against you & Horus for Defamation, as of this writing.

As I see other people Here making same complaints against you so I wanted to re high light it. I notice that you don’t reply to the statement given . You just simply like to accuse people as being scammers or fraudulent. Everyone can see that your a cop out. And I’ll do my best to let others know that Horus are a low life outfit.

If you want to check my Soundcloud link you’ll see I have over 1 million Genuine Hits on 1 song which will become a hit. I have not been removed by Soundcloud for any fraudulent activities or artificial streams. Also Im active on Youtube & IG as well nothing's has happened there.

As I said I never purchased artificially streams on Fiverr as it’s against their policy.

I honestly don’t even think you have read the statement correctly and have digest what’s been said As your reply is childish and inept for a company Music representative. I have retain all Records for a future Law suite.

I must say that Horus is for me the best distribution service so far. I'm often in contact with Emily and it's so appreciable to have contact with humans who answer to our fears and explain to us ( I'm a very modest artist, I don't do millions of streams... ). Whenever I had a problem or a question they answered me within the day! I have used many other well-known services and for me Horus is the best. A big thank you to the whole team

Ps: When I read the negative reviews I don't understand if they talk about the same service ...

Horus Music are a fantastic distribution partner. They offer all the services that artists and labels need to run a successful digital company.

Their pricing and fees are more than fair and in line with industry standards and in many cases much lower. The support is unbelievable, I can't name a single other distributor that has a support phone number like Horus has.

They have fast payouts using bank transfer saving money for artists/labels, they are able to pay UK VAT if needed (this is essential if you are growing your business).

A great alternative to the likes of Distrokid and CDbaby but they can equally compete with bigger aggregators such as Believe Digital and AWAL.

I don't recommend many companies but Horus has my vote 100%! I have no affiliation with them other than being a client and using their service.

I have had over 250 million streams on Spotify as an artist, and over 1 billion streams managing over 70 artists with my label so my advice on this is reliable. Don't hesitate you are in good hands at Horus.

This review reflects my opinion and experience with Horus Music.

I have only been with this distributor for 2 months and have had nothing but problems from the beginning until now. First they refused to accept the artist name. Weeks went by until they finally did. After that I could finally publish music.

And then it went on:

Here they sell unlimited releases in a yearly subscription. After only a few releases, proof of ownership is demanded without justification and without evidence.

Unfortunately, as a musician who makes his own beats, one can only submit a file and a written guarantee including a signature. But this is not enough for Horus Music, they demand invoices that cannot exist because music was produced by themselves.

When I asked Horus Music why they require proof of ownership (other distributors don't) or where they think I am infringing copyrights, they still haven't answered.

Since Horus Music does not provide the service to the full extent, I demanded my money back. Of course, Horus Music refuses to give me my money back. The case is now being settled legally.

My summary of the negative points about Horus Music:

- The backend for musicians seems very unprofessional, put together with a modular system.

- The number of streams is still not displayed after more than 2 months. (Other distributors can do this much faster)

- The tone of communication by email is very unfriendly and short.

- You are harassed so that you don't upload anything else, but continue to pay your annual subscription.

- Unlimited uploads as promised on the website are not kept.

You only have to look at the unprofessional answers from Horus Music on Trustpilot to see how the company treats its customers and that the DSGVO has no value in this company!

I can only recommend every musician to go to another distributor. There are countless distributors around the world who are much better than Horus Music.

ADDENDUM:

I have not received my money back to this day. Instead, Horus Music is trying to delete the rating from TrustPilot. If you do not send proof to TrustPilot within 3 days, the rating will be deleted!

I don't want to know how many negative ratings have been deleted here because many people read the mail too late or simply overlooked it.

So that other musicians can profit from my rating, I have of course sent all the necessary data.

I'm a fairly new artiste in terms of distributing my music on streaming platforms, but I have explored a few distributors before subscribing to Horus. From my short experience, Horus music is an exceptional and very helpful distribution service! My communication with their representative, Chandrika, has been fantastic and she's been very helpful and open to my queries. I definitely recommend Horus to upcoming musicians and look forward to using their marketing services in the future!

It’s not often I review anything. I have to make an exception in the case of the wonderful team at Horus Music.

Since joining on their label account, their service has been nothing short of excellent. I had a great phone conversation with Emily who then emailed me back and has been super quick to deal with all my questions.

There’s a lot to set up when you start distribution and promotion of your music and a lot to learn. Emily and Horus Music have so far made this a painless experience, helping me all the way. I am looking forward to working with them and building a successful label.

I worked with Horus to distribute a charity single for my organisation. Rosa could not have been any more helpful and was brilliant at explaining the process to me. Thank you very much to Horus for supporting our charity. Would 100% recommend.

As a hobbyist music composer/producer, I released my first album distributed through Horus Music, and I can't praise them enough. I found their submission system to be very user friendly, and their pricing is transparent and good value in my opinion, but what I was most pleased about was the customer service. By email, all responses were very prompt and answered any queries I had, and on the phone they were even better - very friendly and knowledgeable.
As I found out, there's a lot more to releasing an album than perhaps meets the eye, but their help documentation covered most things, and the additional support provided was superb.

There are cheaper distribution options out there (though not by that much), but I liked the simplicity of the one-off fee and the research I carried out suggesting their support was top-notch backed up my decision to go with Horus Music.

It can be hard these days to find premium customer service, but Horus Music are the exception.

I've been using Horus Music's distribution service for few years now and whenever I've needed any help or had any query, the team has responded promptly, their presence in India is an added advantage for Indian artists as we know we'll be interacting with a real human who understands our music and will respond on time, not those auto generated emails.

i have been uploading all my original content and music through Horus music over the last 3 years and have found the experience absolutely effortless. Special thanks to Malini, Chandrika & Robert who have always been prompt to respond to all my queries on phone as well as on email. I have taken an unlimited distribution package and will continue with Horus Music for all my future music releases.
